1. The TELETEXT SYSTEM has a built-in
FASTEXT, TOP & WST syste .
2. By eans of AUTO SET, the TV stations can
be selected auto atically and the TV
channels can also be rearranged auto ati-
cally.
3. Built-in ECO (ECONOMY, ECOLOGY)
MODE
In accordance with the brightness in a roo ,
the brightness and/or contrast of the picture
can be adjusted auto atically to ake the
opti u picture which is easy on the eye.
4. The audio circuit has a built-in A2/NICAM
stereo syste .
5. The EXT-2 TERMINAL (21-pin Euro
connector) can select the output circuit as

EMOVING THE EA COVE
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Re ove the 6 screws arked X as shown in
the figure.
3. Withdraw the rear cover toward you.
EMOVING THE CHASSIS
• After re oving the rear cover.
1. Slightly raise the both sides of the chassis by
hand and re ove the two claws under the both
sides of the chassis fro the front cabinet.
2. Withdraw the chassis backward. (If necessary,
take off the wire cla p, connectors etc.)
EMOVING THE AV TE MI. BOA D
• After re oving the rear cover.
1. While raising the claw arked A, re ove the
top of the AV TERMI. board slightly in the
direction of arrow B as shown in Fig. 1.
2. Pressing the claws arked C, re ove the AV
TERMI. Board in the arrow direction arked D
as shown in Fig. 2 (Opposite).
EMOVING THE CONT OL BASE
1. While pushing down the claws arked E
re ove the CONTROL BASE in the arrow
direction F as shown in Fig. 3. (If necessary,
take off the wire cla p, connectors etc.)
EMOVING THE SPEAKE
• After re oving the rear cover.
1. Re ove the two screws arked Y as shown in
figure.
2. Follow the sa e steps when re oving the
other hand speaker.
CHECKING THE PW BOA D
1. To check the back side of the PW Board.
1) Pull out the chassis. (Refer to REMOVING THE
CHASSIS).
2) Erect the chassis vertically so that you can
easily check the back side of the PW Board.
[CAUTION]
• When erecting the chassis, be careful so that
there will be no contacting with other PW
Board.
• Before turning on power, ake sure that the
wire connector is properly connected.
WI E CLAMPING AND CABLE TIES
1. Be sure to cla p the wire.
2. Never re ove the cable tie used for tying the
wires together. Should it be inadvertently
re oved, be sure to tie the wires with a new
cable tie.
