ENGLISH
The device is based on the technology of an electronic bearing
sensor with functions like bearing, direction, digital clock , digital
thermometer and digital calendar.
The digital compass is designed for outdoor use. The detachable
string makes the digital compass a perfect hand-carry device for
various outdoor activities.

Calibration
1. Once batteries are replaced, the display will show the ‘CAL’ icon, it
means the calibration mode is active.
2. Place the digital compass on a flat surface with the screen
pointing upwards. Press the compass button, it will show a wrong
direction degree on the LCD, then press and hold the compass
button for 4 seconds, the display will show ‘CAL’ again, at this
time, turn the device one full circle slowly(or place the digital
compass on your hand and turn your body one full circle). This
allows the electronic bearing sensor to seek the magnetic North.
(Note: For more accurate results, the air bubble in the spirit level
should be kept inside the circle during the calibration procedure.)
3. After turning the device one full circle, press the compass button,
it will accurately show the direction degree.


Temperature Display Mode
Temperature display degree Celsius (°C) and degree Fahrenheit (°F)
systems.
Once batteries are inserted, degree Celsius (°C) system is
used. Press [ADJUST] button, degree Celsius(°C) and degree
Fahrenheit(°F) are inter-changeable.



Time Setting
Time display: 12 Hours system and 24 Hours system.

Once batteries are putted into the device, 24 Hours system is used.
long press [MODE] button, enter the time setting mode. “Hour” digit
is blinking and ready for setting, Press [ADJUST] button to change
“Hour” digit.
Press [MODE] button, “Minute” digit is blinking; press [ADJUST]
button to change “Minute” digit.
Press [MODE] button, then press [ADJUST] button, 12 hours system
and 24 hours system are inter-changeable.
Press [MODE] button, “month” digit is blinking; Press [ADJUST]
button to change “month” digit .
Press [MODE] button, “date” digit is blinking; Press [ADJUST] button
to change “date” digit .
Press [MODE] button, “week” digit is blinking; Press [ADJUST] button
to change “week” digit .
Long press [MODE] button for confirming the setting.
Compass Mode
The device will only stay in compass mode for 4 minutes for saving
power consumption, press [Compass] button to enter compass mode
again.

During you use, if the digital compass mode is destroyed, the data is
inaccuracy, it means that you must run the calibration process, at this
time, long press [Compass] button (hold the button about 4 seconds),
enter the calibration mode, then you can calibrate the device over
again as the above-mentioned calibration step.
Back Light
Press [Light] button, turn on the backlight for 4 seconds.
Precautions
1. The device is not designed as a commercial navigation device.
2. Never place the device near magnetic field equipment.
3. Batteries should be removed when the device is not in use for a
long period of time.
4. Avoid short-circuit of the battery terminals by following the polarity
indicated inside the battery compartment.
5. Do not mix old and new batteries. Also do not mix alkaline,
carbon-zinc or rechargeable (Ni-Cd/Ni-H) batteries.
6. Do not dispose batteries into fire.
7. Avoid extreme temperature, strong shake, drop into water.
