4.5 Adjusting the Mirror:
The knob for adjusting the mirror is placed
on the left hand side of the Light Source.
The mirror has two different sides. One
mirror is piane, while the other is concave.
The piane mirror is often used for high
magnifications and the concave mirror is
used for lower magnifications. Virtual dark
field is obtained by positioning the mirror
almost vertical.
The mirror can be moved 360 degrees in a
rotational pattern and 45 mm horizontally.
This makes it possible to control the light as
desired.
The LS-12 can be supplied with a wide
range of filters for creating specific light
conditions.

5.0 Maintenance:
5.1 Cleaning:
All surfaces should be cleaned with a 70% alcohol solution on a clean cloth or lint-free
paper towel.
5.2 Replacing the Light Source Fuse:
Normally there is no reason for the fuse to
blow. if it is suspected that the internai fuse
has blown, follow these instructions when
replacing it:
The fuse can be changed without
removing the light source from the
cabinet
Remove the mains power connection on
the Workstation's Back Panel.
Following the procedure outlined in the
Workstation Operating instructions, remove
the K-SYSTEMS Workstation back panel.
Locate the fuse on the main circuit board.
The fuse can be removed by using the
fingers. If the fuse has blown, replace it with
