WHEN CALLING TECH SUPPORT — PLEASE HAVE THE PHONE SERIAL NUMBER READY
 COP Mount phones should have no gap between the phone and the fixture.
 To minimize AC and motor noise in the system, always use shielded wire for the
phone line — grounded at one end only.
 Check to see if you need to dial the area code or 1 before the phone number.
 On PBX systems you may have to enter a 9 or 8 followed by a pause () before the
phone number. You may also need to set the timer to “02” or “03” for proper shutoff.
 If the phone does not shut off automatically (no CPC signal), the phone needs to be
shut off manually by pressing , #, or by using the built in timer (phone feature #4).
 If the LED stays lit, check that the Program switch is in the off position (Labeled P →).
 The phone can work on phone line power, so long as the phone line conditions meet
the 30mA minimum specifications. If not, the 9V battery can be used to supplement
phone line power. The battery should be replaced every 2 years, or after 30 hours of
phone activation.
