AUXILIARY POUCH SYSTEM
BELT AND HARNESS
The Auxiliary Pouch System will allow you to comfortably store and easily access all
your lenses, flash and camera bodies. This modular system lets you carry as many
or as little pouches either on the belt or with the added harness for extra support.
You can connect up to 6 pouches recommended anywhere on your belt for various
carrying possibilities. Pouches for full size DSLR bodies, professional flash, and many
different sizes of lenses are available for purchase separately to match your kit.
Features:
• Signature TST protection protects your gear within the pouches.
• Adjustable belt and harness for ultimate comfort.
• Padded removable insert for most pouches for extra protection and space
when needed.
• Overlapping belt closure for securing on belt.
• Exterior and interior pockets for storing lens caps, filters and other
accessories.
The Auxiliary Pouch System gives you the option to either
purchase the AB-302 full harness which includes both the
belt as well as the shoulder harness, or to purchase the
AB-301 belt to be used individually.
To properly adjust the belt:
1. Start by quickly trying on the belt and buckling. You
may find that you need to lengthen or shorten.
2. If no adjustment is needed, simply clip the main front
buckle and tighten by pulling the ends of the strap to
your sides. (see fig. 1)
3. To adjust the length of the belt, take the belt off and
open each end of the inside of the belt. You can now
adjust each end using the hook and loop to match your
needed waist size. Widening the belt will reveal an extra
pouch connection,( provided you are able to wear the belt
wide comfortably). (see fig. 2)
4. Close the inside large hook and loop connection on
the inside of the belt.
To properly adjust and install the shoulder harness:
5. Follow the steps above first to adjust the belt.
6. The harness has an adjustable rear connection as
well as two frontal connections with 2 different buckle
options.
7. Put on the belt and shoulder harness, making sure
that the rear connection is attached and the two frontal
connections are attached with the corresponding buckle,
either with the two front or the two D-rings.
If the height of the harness needs adjustment, take off
and adjust the back hook and loop connection to the
desired length. (see fig. 3)
8. Put the harness back on. You can clip the front two
attachment buckles to either the inside or outside D-rings
according to your comfort. (see fig. 4)
9. Pull the excess straps of the shoulder harness to tighten
comfortably on your body. (see fig.5)

POUCHES
The Auxiliary Pouches fit a variety of lenses flashes and
camera bodies while keeping them protected and easy to
access at all times. All the pouches easily attach to the
auxiliary belt by the secure locking loop on the back of
the pouch. Each pouch comes with a provided shoulder
strap to allow you to carry separately when needed.
The removable padded insert protects your lens and when
unneeded, you can take it out to make the pouch flat or
to make extra room for a slightly larger lens. (see fig. 6)
Special non slip side zippers allow you to expand and
contract the pouch in order to make it fit your lens with
hood attached or to accommodate a larger lens
An external zippered pocket will keep flat accessories
you want close at hand.
An internal mesh pocket will hold additional accessories
such as batteries and lens caps.
To attach pouch to vertical loops on any compatible Kata
backpack:
1. Find vertical connection strap and loop through preferred
connection on bag.
2. Loop flap on back of pouch through vertical connection
strap making sure to close on bottom firmly.
When shooting you have the option to easily open and
close the pouch with just the buckle.
Detach the small tab on the inside of the lid and fold
larger flap so it attaches with the hook and loop close
to the buckle. The hook and loop now does not attach
when closing the lid. Fold and attach larger flap

POUCH GUIDE:
To properly attach pouches to the belt:
1. Start by opening the hook and loop fold at the bottom
of the pouch and unlooping the flap completely.(see fig.7)
2. Choose which loop on the belt you prefer to hold the
pouch and run the flap through the loop.(see fig. 8)
3. Pull the pouch down so the belt loop is sitting closest
to the top of the pouch.
4. You can now run the flap back through the middle strap
on the pouch. (see fig. 9)
5. Securely connect back the hook and loop fold on the
bottom of the pouch.
