KATA designs, develo s, and manufactures quality, state-of-the-art
rotection solutions and carrying systems. KATAs roducts are designed
around the human frame. Its not enough that the equi ment fits the
case, the case must also fit the user! In 1983, two friends, members of an
elite military unit, began exchanging ideas about how backpacks and military
equipment cases could be made more modular and ergonomic
KATA has provided an outsourcing service to Hi-tech Industries that manufacture
sensitive equipment for field operation KATA is involved from the research
to the development and design stage through production A prominent
example of such an enterprise is the KATA - MANFROTTO collaboration
which is responsible for the entire line of Manfrotto bags worldwide
In 2004, KATA launched the Global Digital Collection (GDC) for the Professional
Digital Photographer and Videographer The collection includes carrying
solutions specifically designed for delicate digital equipment incorporating
KATA's latest development - the unique TST (Thermo-Shield-Technology)
