high-gain
circuit
for
weak
inputs

a
low-gain
circuit
for
stronger
ones.

Accepts
input

TREBLE/BASS
knobs
—
Control
the
tone
of
the
output
for
the
high
and low
ranges.
Turning
the
knob
clockwise
increases
the
amount
of
amplification
added;
counterclockwise
rotation
decreases
it.

PHONES
jack

Accepts
the
standard
headphone
plug.
Plugging
in
a
set
of
headphones
automatically
disconnects
the
monitor
speaker

for
private
listening.

—
Provides
output

tape

VOL
knob
—
Controls
the
overall
volume.
Turning
the
knob
clock-
wise
raises
the
volume;
counterclockwise
rotation
decreases
it.

POWER
switch
—
Controls
power
to
the
unit.
The
pilot
lamp
next
to
the
switch
lights
when
the
unit
is
in
operation.

If
there
is
noise
or
humming,
try
reversing
the
plug
in
the
elec-
trical
outlet.

Warnings

Rotate
the
volume
knob
fully
countercloskwise
to
cut
all
output,
(2)
Turn
on
the
instrument
and
plug
it
into
the
appropriate
INPUT
jack
{HI/LOW).

Make
sure
that
the
power
switch
is
in
the
OFF
position
and
then
connect
the
unit
to
the
electrical
outlet.
(The
pilot
lamp
should
light.)

Rotate
the
volume
knob
to
adjust
the
output
volume.

Adjust
the
tone
with
the
TREBLE
and
BASS
controls.

Keep
the
amplifier
away
from
neon
or
fluorescent
light
fixtures
and
other
potential
noise
sources.

reduce
the
volume

zero
before
connecting

the

Otherwise

high
volume

damage

reverse
order.

cloth
and
possibly
a
mild
detergent.
