PLEASE BE ADVISED: Before assembling the Anchor-Fix for the first time, it is highly recommended
that Installers familiarise themselves with the component parts and carry out a test assembly and
disassembly in a safe area away from the point of final installation. All component parts detailed in the
operating instructions must be used in the assembly of the system. Should a piece be missing or
appear defective do not continue to assemble and contact Easi-Dec Immediately.

Lay out the components ready for assembly.
Tie the strap around the footing Ladder stile and the third rung of the
Ladder.
Step 3 Step 4
Repeat STEP 2 for the second strap; tie the strap around the third
rung and the footing Ladder stile.
Slacken the bolts on the Anchor fixing housing.
Step 5 Step 6
Position the Footing Ladder into the anchor fixing housing.
Tighten the bolts from the anchor fixing housing with the wing nuts
provided; make sure the Ladder feet are firmly seated.

Step 7 Step 8
Feed the tied footing Ladder strap through the ratchet buckle.
Feed the second tied footing Ladder strap through the second
ratchet buckle and then tension both straps making sure the
Ladder is vertical when under tension.
Step 9
Foot the Ladder or use a suitable Ladder safety device, such as
Easi-Dec Ladder spurs before using.
Remember
Always check the equipment for damage before use.
Work carefully –Never rush.
Do not use in adverse weather conditions.
Always Tie the Ladder to the building.
Always erect using the 4:1 rule.
Dismantle: Reverse the above procedure.
