
Installation Guidelines
The KEE Bio-Guard is supplied with the Motor disconnected.
Always plug in the Motor Connector before use.
The Bio-Guard Grease Digester
lThe KEE Bio-Guard unit is designed to automatically dispense enzyme based chemicals
into wastesystems to prevent the build up of fat and blockages in the drainage system. It
is battery operated for easy installation and can be programmed to dispense set volumes of
chemicals at set intervals to meet your requirements.
Installation
lLocate the Bio-Guard dispenser as close to the chemical container as possible, ideally
within 5 meters. Try to avoid exposure to direct heat, moisture or steam.
l Theunitisalreadyttedwithwallxingbracketsandissuppliedwiththenecessaryxing
screws and raw plugs for installation.
lThe unit is also supplied with 4 meters of pvc tubing and a tube support. The tube support
end of the tube should be placed in the chemical container and the other end connected to
the inlet connector of the Bio-Guard pump.

lAny excess PVC tubing can be used to connect from the outlet connector to the waste pipe
or grease trap. An adjustable pipe connector is also available from KEE Services Limited if
required.
Batteries
lThe KEE Bio-Guard is supplied with a self contained battery pack, which should provide at
least 12 months operating life based on standard usage.
lTo change the battery, start by removing the lid. (unscrewthe4plasticscrews,oneineach
corner).
lThen disconnect the battery pack by removing the small white connector with a red and
black wire. (seediagramonpage3).
l Removetheoldbatterypack,tthenewpackandplugintheconnector.
Priming
lPress the ‘PRIME/TEST BUTTON’ontheundersideoftheunittollthetubingwithchemical
and to test the pump.
