2. This warranty
is in addition to, and in no way de tracts from, your statutory rights as a consu mer under any appl ica b le laws
governing this warranty.
3. If any provision of this warranty is unlawful, void or unenforceable under the applicable laws governing this warranty. that
provisi
on sha ll be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity of any of the remai ning provision s.
(B) WARNING
4. Purchase KEF products (including passive loudspeakers. active loudspeakers, powered subwoofers. motorised speakers,
electronics and headphones
C' KEF products '1) only fi-om dealers (" Authorised Dealer/s '') and distributors authorised by KEF
in their respective jurisdiction to sell genuine KEF products. Do not entrust repair work to unauthorised persons. The
components necessary to maintain
the original performance of the KEF products are ava ilable only through Authorised
Distributors. Warranty
is provided only to KEF products purchased from an Autho ri sed Dealer and accompani ed by p roo f of
purchase. No warranty is provided to any product and/or any com ponents not purchased fro m an Authorised
Dealer/Distributor. Keep and produce the re<:eipt
or proof of purchase in the event that service of yo ur pr oduct is requi re d.
Information such as the date of the original purchase. the name and model number of the product. and the details of the
Authorised Dealer must be clearly stated on the relevant recei pt or proofof purchase.
The terms and conditions of this warranty may be revised from time to time by KEF and you agree to be bound by the latest
terms.

(C) WARRANTY PERIOD
6. All KEF Products are precision engineered and the Authorised Distributors provide warranty against FAULTY MATERIAL
AND/OR WORKMANS HIP for the fo ll owing products from the date of original purchase is as foi i O'NS: -
• Passive loudspeakers:
FIVE years
• Active loudspeakers, powered subwoofers and motorised speakers:
ONE year, or N/0 years if pu rch ased in the European
Union
• Electronics and headphones:
ONE year, or TWO years if purchased in the European Union
This warranty
will not be extended or renewed at the expi ry of the above period.
(D) WARRANTY COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS
7. This warranty is only valid in the country of purchase and only applies to the f1rst purchaser of the KEF product(s) from an
Authorised Dealer. This warranty does not ext e nd to any other person or transferee, and terminates if you se ll or otherw ise
transfer the KEF product(s) to another party/entity.
This warran
ty does not cover any of the following: -
(a) norm
al or fair wear an d tear and/or any wea r from environmental deterioration ofthe K EF product and/or its
components
(b) me
ch anic al damage or derangement of the KEF product in transit that is not attributab le to the fault of the KEF and its
Autho ri sed Distributor
(c) deterioration
of any co ns umable components of the KEF product whi ch would become wom or dep l ete d through use
(e.g. batteries)
(d)
an y KEF product whose serial number l abe l (s ) is/are missing, made illeg ible, defaced. altered. removed. or damaged
(e)
any K EF product and/or any of its components that is/are not pu rc hased from an Authorised Dealer/ Di stributor, inclu di ng
any parallel imports
or grey market products
(f) incon-ect or unauthorised components which have been su bst it uted and /or used for the KEF Product
(g) any KEF Product and/or any of its components which have be en insta ll ed, disassembled, repaired, converted, m od i fied,
tampered with or otherwise interfered with in any way by any person/entity ot he r than an autho ri sed representative of
KEF and its Autho ri sed Distributors
(h ) any defects, mal function, loss and/ or damages caused by or resulting from any of the fo Howing:-
o any
of the circ umstances set out in (a)-(g) above
o any accident
or negligence n ot caused by the faul t of KEF and its Authorised Distributors
o any im p roper insta ll ation or connection of the KEF product (incl uding without limitation any impro pe r connection of
the KEF product
to i mproper voltage or p ower sou rc e) not caus ed by any fault of K EF and its Authorised Distributo rs
o any improper care. dro pp ing. mishandling. mis use, abuse or unreasonable or improper use. operat io n or maintena nc e of
the KEF Product
o any operation
of the KEF product with any faurty. unsuitable or inapprop ri ate apparatus an d/o r an ci lla ry equipment
o
any use of the KEF Product under abnormal or inappropriate voltage or p owe r su rge s:
o failure to use, operate or ma,ntain t he KEF product in ac cordance with the instrt.Jct i on s set out in the users' man ual
o exposure of the KEF product to extreme temperature, heat water or o th er li quid s, insects, ex cessive moisture, sand,
chemicals. battery leakage
or any oth er contaminants
o any force majeure events, Including but not limited to any acts of God, fire , li ghtning, typhoon, storm. earthquake.
hurricane, natural disaster, tsunam
i, flood, war, riot public disturbance
o
any other causes beyond the reasonable control of either KEF and its Authorised Distributor.
(E) LIABILITY
9 Other than the warranty and services set out in t his warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law. KEF and its Authorised
Distributors sha
ll n ot be liab!e to you and/or any third party or entity whatsoever for:-
(a} any loss, damages and/or malfuncti on caused to any product( s) whi ch 1slare connected to any of the KEF products
(b)
any damages, loss and lia bil ity (except fO< any personal injuries or death), \o\o'hether direct. indirect. in cidental, con~eq ue ntial
speci al, pun it i ve or otherwise, howsoever caused by, arisong out of . or ot hervv 1se in relation to the installation, de l ivery. use,
service. repai
r, replacement and/or ma intenance of the KEF product; or
(c) any damages. loss and li abi lity (except for any personal injuries or death) under th is warranty in respect of any act.
