PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble the product.
Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers,
electrical tape, ladder, safety glasses, drill, crescent wrench.
For Plug-In Mounting Assembly,

NOTE: This model can be installed as a fixture that
plugs into a wall outlet, or a fixture that is directly wired

1a. Remove ground screw from mounting bracket
(B), and discard.
Find a suitable location on the wall to mount
your fixture (location should be within 6 feet of
an electrical outlet).
Using the mounting bracket (B) as a template,
place flat side of mounting bracket (B) flush
against wall with the mounting hardware slots
aligned vertically in the 12 and 6 o’clock position
as shown. Mark locations for the two (2)
mounting hardware holes, one in each
mounting hardware slot. Set mounting bracket
(B) aside.
If NOT mounting fixture on a stud,

Push wall anchors (FF) through 11/16”
holes drilled in wall (wall anchor (FF) is
completely through wall when a "click" is
heard).
While holding mounting bracket (B) flat
against wall in its final mounting position,
gently pull wall anchor mounting screws
(EE) out and away from mounting bracket
(B) such that wall anchors (FF) are flush
against inside of wall surface, and tighten
wall anchor mounting screws (EE) to
secure mounting bracket (B) to wall
anchors (FF).
Go to Step 5a on Pg. 7

2a. If NOT mounting fixture on a stud, drill
holes for mounting hardware where
marked in Step 1a. Using a 11/16" drill bit
(not included), drill a 11/16" hole at each
marked location for the wall anchors (FF)
and wall anchor mounting screws (EE).
Remove wall anchor mounting screws (EE)
from wall anchors (FF) and retain. Pass
threads of wall anchor mounting screws
(EE) through mounting hardware slots in
the mounting bracket (B), then thread
them back into wall anchors (FF) as
shown.
NOTE: Wall anchor mounting screws (EE)
should be threaded into wall anchors (FF)
such that 2-3 threads protrude through
wall anchor (FF).

4a. If mounting fixture on a stud, drill holes for
mounting hardware where marked in Step
1a. Using a 1/16" drill bit (not included), drill
a 1/16" pilot hole at each marked location
for the stud mounting screws (GG).
Hold mounting bracket (B) flat against wall
(with mounting hardware slots positioned
over 1/16” pilot holes) and screw stud
mounting screws (GG) into pilot holes.
Tighten stud mounting screws (GG) to
secure mounting bracket (B) to wall.

Pass canopy (A) over the screws
protruding from the mounting bracket (B)
and secure in place with lock washers (DD)
and threaded knobs (CC).
NOTE: Make sure all wires are inside of
canopy (A) and do not get pinched
between canopy (A) and mounting bracket
(B), or canopy (A) and wall.
NOTE: Fixture should be mounted with
socket (C) in the up position as shown.

2b. Orient the mounting bracket (B) such that
the mounting hardware slots align with
threaded holes in the outlet box (not
included) as shown.
Insert long knob screws (HH) through the
horizontally aligned threaded holes in the
mounting bracket (B) as shown, starting
from the outlet box side, with the threads
of the long knob screws (HH) protruding
outward.

1b. Remove preassembled machine screws and
lock washers from mounting bracket (B) by
unscrewing hex nuts, and discard machine
screws, lock washers, and hex nuts.

protruding outward, connect the
mounting bracket (B) to the outlet box
using short mounting screws (BB).

4b. Pull up an additional length of cord (E) into
canopy (A). Cut cord (E) approximately (8)
inches from center of canopy (A). Discard
the remaining length of cord (E) attached
to the plug.
CAUTION: Ensure cord is NOT plugged
into electrical outlet when cutting the
cord.

5b. Remove coupling (F) from the bottom of
canopy (A) by unscrewing the hex nut
from the short threaded pipe protruding
into the canopy (A). Discard the coupling
(F), short threaded pipe, hex nut, and lock
washer.
Insert hole cover (II) into hole from the
outside of canopy (A) such that bottom
of hole cover (II) is flush with bottom of
canopy (A) when installed.

each wire 1/2" (13mm).

7b. Wire connection guide:
Ground wire:
• For installation in the United States: Wrap
ground wire from outlet box around ground
screw preassembled on mounting bracket (B)
no less than 2 in. from wire end. Tighten
ground screw. If fixture is supplied with a
ground wire, connect to outlet ground wire
with a wire connector (AA).
• For installation in Canada: If fixture is
supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire
around ground screw on mounting bracket
(B). Tighten ground screw. Connect fixture
ground wire to outlet ground wire with the
wire connector (AA).
Supply wires:
• Connect the Neutral (White) supply wire from
the outlet box to the Neutral fixture wire
(Parallel Cord “D” shaped and ribbed).
• Connect the Hot (Black) supply wire from the
outlet box to the Hot fixture wire (Parallel
Cord round and smooth).

Pass canopy (A) over the long knob
screws (HH) protruding from the
mounting bracket (B) and secure in place
with lock washers (DD) and threaded
knobs (CC).
NOTE: Make sure all wires are inside of
canopy (A) and do not get pinched
between canopy (A) and mounting
bracket (B), or canopy (A) and wall.
NOTE: Fixture should be mounted with
socket (C) in the up position as shown.
NOTE: Ideally, edge of outlet box should
be flush with mounting surface. However,
many outlet boxes are recessed into the
surface. The long knob screws (HH) are
designed to have extra length to
accommodate various outlet box depths.

1c. Slip decorative nut cover (I) over threads
protruding from bottom of socket base cup
(K). While holding decorative nut cover (I)
flush against the bottom of socket base cup
(K), screw decorative tube (J) onto threads
protruding from bottom of socket base cup
(K). Tighten to secure decorative tube (J)
and decorative nut cover (I) in place
.

2c. While holding glass (D) in place loosely over socket (C), tilt glass (D) to one side until one side of
spring bracket (L) passes through bottom hole in glass (D). With one side of spring bracket (L) in
bottom hole of glass (D) and against edge of hole, gently push opposite side of spring bracket
(L) inward and tilt opposite side of glass (D) downward to fully pass glass (D) over spring bracket
(L) and firmly seat glass (D) over socket (C)
.

3c. While holding glass (D) in place, and with glass
(D) firmly seated over spring bracket (L),
carefully slip candle sleeve (H) down over
socket (C) inside of glass (D). Candle sleeve (H)
should be oriented such that it passes
between the flanges of spring bracket (L)
attached to socket (C) and it should be pushed
down completely until it rests against the
inside of glass (D) to secure glass (D) in place
.

5c. If fixture was installed using “PLUG-IN
MOUNTING” assembly instructions,
insert
plug into 120-volt electrical outlet.
Turn the on/o switch (G) clockwise to
switch light on/o.

• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning this item.
• Use a soft, moist cloth with mild non-abrasive soap to clean fixture. Never use glass cleaner on
fixture, as it will damage the metal finish.
• All glass shades may be washed in a towel-lined sink with warm water and mild soap. Do not
wash shades in an automatic dishwasher.

PRÉPARATION
Avant de commencer l’assemblage du produit, assurez-vous que toutes les pièces sont présentes.
Comparez les pièces avec la liste du contenu de l’emballage et la liste de la quincaillerie. En cas de
pièces manquantes ou endommagées, ne tentez pas d’assembler le produit.
Temps d’assemblage approximatif : de 30 à 60 minutes.
Outils nécessaires pour l’assemblage (non inclus) : tournevis cruciforme, tournevis à tête plate,
pinces à dénuder, ruban isolant, escabeau et lunettes de sécurité, perceuse, clé à molette.

1a. Retirez la vis de mise à la terre du support de
montage (B) et jetez-la.
Localisez un emplacement approprié sur le mur
pour installer votre luminaire (l'emplacement
doit être situé à 1,8 m d'une prise électrique).
Utilisez le support de montage (B) comme
gabarit, placez le côté plat du support de
montage (B) contre le mur avec les fentes du
matériel de montage alignées verticalement
dans les positions de 12 et de 6 heures (voir
illustration). Marquez les emplacements des
deux (2) trous du matériel de montage, un dans
chaque emplacement. Mettez le support de
montage (B) de côté.

3a. Poussez les ancrages muraux (FF) à
travers des trous de 11/16 po percés dans le
mur (l'ancrage mural (FF) traverse
complètement le mur lorsqu'un « clic » se
fait entendre).
Tout en maintenant le support de montage
(B) à plat contre le mur dans sa position de
montage finale, tirez doucement les vis de
montage de l'ancrage mural (EE) hors et à
l'écart du support de montage (B) de
manière à ce que les ancrages muraux (FF)
soient alignés contre l'intérieur de la
surface du mur, et serrez les vis de
montage de l'ancrage mural (EE) pour fixer
le support de montage (B) à ancrages
muraux (FF).
Passez à l'étape 5a de la page 21

2a. Si l'installation du luminaire n'est pas
eectuée sur un poteau, percez des trous
pour la quincaillerie de montage aux
endroits indiqués à l'étape 1a. À l'aide d'un
foret de 11/16 po (non inclus), percez un
trou de 11/16 po à chaque emplacement
marqué pour les ancrages muraux (FF) et
les vis de montage des ancrages muraux
(EE).
Retirez les vis de montage des ancrages
muraux (EE) des ancrages muraux (FF) et
conservez-les. Faites passer les filets des
vis de montage des ancrages muraux (EE)
dans les fentes du matériel de montage du
support de montage (B), puis vissez-les à
nouveau dans les ancrages muraux (FF)
(voir illustration).
REMARQUE : Les vis de montage des
ancrages muraux (EE) doivent être vissées
dans les ancrages muraux (FF) pour que
2-3 filets dépassent à travers l'ancrage
mural (FF).
