Introduction
The EBT5X is a portable battery backup that can be carried anywhere to provide
power to smartphones, tablets, PDAs and other USB powered devices. It has
a built-in torch that can be used as SOS as well as for lighting. The remaining
battery capacity can be checked using the LED indicators.

The rst press of the MFB button shows the battery status by LED indicators
and also wakes up the battery of EBT5X
The second press of the MFB button turns on the SOS (LED Torch)
The third press of the MFB button turns on the LED Torch
The fourth press of the MFB button turns OFF the LED Torch

Android Devices
Please use the included “charge-only” micro usb cable to charge Android smart
phones and tablets at full AC charge. Please note that this cable can not be used
for Kindle Fire. Also this cable can only be used for charging and not be used for
data synchronization.
Charging your device
1. Please check the remaining charge in EBT5X by pressing (and releasing)
the power button.
2. Connect your device to the USB port in EBT5X using an appropriate cable.
Use the included Micro USB cable to charge all android and blackberry
smartphones for optimized charging.
3. Press the MFB Button to wake up EBT5X if the charging does not start by
itself.
4. To stop charging: Simply disconnect the device and the cable.
5. Please note that the EBT5X battery will automatically stop charging when
it is discharged.
