nahme des Gerätes sorgfältig durch.
Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung gut auf und
geben Sie diese an andere Nutzer weiter.
Therm-ic Powerpacks liefern Energie für alle Ther-
micSoles (beheizbare Therm-ic Einlegesohlen) oder
Schuhe/Sohlen mit ThermicInside (mit vorinstalliertem
Therm-ic Heizsystem).

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
®Wenn Sie Wärme oder Kälte nicht richtig wahrneh-
men können (z.B. Diabetiker, Behinderte, etc.),
halten Sie bitte vor Verwendung des Gerätes Rück-
sprache mit Ihrem Arzt.
®Kontrollieren Sie Ihre Füße regelmäßig auf Rötungen
der Haut. Zu hohe Heizleistungen über längere Zeit
können Verbrennungen verursachen. Kinder sollten
den Artikel daher nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachse-
nen verwenden.
®Powerpacks sind spritzwassergeschützt. Wenn Sie
die Powerpacks an Ihren Schuhen befestigt haben,
sollten diese im Freien stets (auch wenn nicht
einschaltet) an die beheizbaren Sohlen angeschlos-
sen werden, um ein Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit
bzw. Schmutz in Anschlussbuchsen oder Stecker zu
vermeiden. Ansonsten Wasser ausfließen und das
Powerpack austrocknen lassen.
®Verwenden Sie zum Aufladen nur den mitgelieferten
Therm-ic Original-Netzadapter. Er ist für Innenräume
konzipiert und darf keiner Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt
werden.
®Stecken Sie keine Metall- oder andere Gegenstände
in Anschlussbuchsen oder Stecker, da dies den
Artikel beschädigen kann.
®Sollten Sie einen Schaden an Anschlussleitungen
oder anderen Teilen des Artikels feststellen, darf der
Artikel nicht weiter benutzt werden. Nehmen Sie
keine Veränderungen am Artikel vor und zweckent-
fremden Sie ihn nicht. Lassen Sie Reparaturen an
Teilen des Artikels oder dessen Anschlussleitungen
nur vom Hersteller durchführen.
®Sollten Fragen oder Probleme auftauchen, wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler oder an den
Hersteller.
®Verbrauchte Powerpacks ordnungsgemäß entsorgen!

INBETRIEBNAHME UND LADEN
DER POWERPACKS
Vorbereiten des Ladegeräts:
Schieben Sie den geeigneten Adapter in die Aufnah-
me auf der Rückseite des Ladegeräts bis er hörbar
fest einrastet.
Hinweis: Beachten Sie dazu auch das beigelegte
Informationsblatt!
Ladevorgang
Für jedes Powerpack ist eine LED vorhanden, die den
Ladezustand anzeigt (siehe Tabelle).
Wichtig:
Zuerst das Ladegerät an die Steckdose anschließen.
Danach beide Powerpacks an das Ladekabel des
Ladegerätes anstecken. Der Ladevorgang startet
automatisch (die jeweilige LED leuchtet).
Durch die integrierte Elektronik werden die Powerpacks
unabhängig vom Ladezustand während des Ladevor-
ganges vollautomatisch überwacht und abgeschaltet.
Nach erfolgter Aufladung (max. 4 Stunden) erfolgt
automatisch die Umschaltung auf den Erhaltungsla-
dungsmodus (die jeweilige LED blinkt).
Im Falle eines Fehlers wird der Ladevorgang nach 5
Stunden automatisch abgebrochen.
FUNKTIONSBESCHREIBUNG
Die Supermax Powerpacks haben zwei Betriebszustän-
de : POWER-OFF - BETRIEB
Diese werden durch die Betriebsanzeige (rote LED)
deutlich gemacht:
POWER-OFF:
Der Stufenschalter steht auf Stufe 0. Die Betriebsan-
zeige (rote LED) ist permanent aus. Das Powerpack ist
vollkommen abgeschaltet.
BETRIEB:
Das Powerpack versorgt die angeschlossene Therm-ic
Sohle mit Energie. Die Heizleistung kann mit 3 verschie-
denen Heizstufen individuell eingestellt werden.
Die Betriebsanzeige (rote LED) leuchtet.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE ZUR ANWENDUNG
®Bei Gebrauch das Heizelementekabel fest an das
Powerpack anschließen bis ein deutliches Einrasten
merkbar ist.
®Bei Inbetriebnahme Stufe 3 nicht länger als jeweils
ein paar Minuten eingeschaltet lassen; bei Dauer-
betrieb kann ansonsten zu große Hitze entstehen
– Verbrennungsgefahr!
®Powerpacks stets auf Stufe 1 oder 2 stellen, um
behagliche Wärme der Füße beizubehalten (Heizung
sollte fast nicht spürbar sein).
®Optimale Heizleistung wird dann erreicht, wenn
Schuhe bzw. Sohlen trocken sind.
BEDIENUNG UND FUNKTIONEN
Die gewünschte Heizleistung kann mittels eines Stufen-
schalters individuell eingestellt werden (Stufe 1, 2, 3 ).

WARTUNG, LAGERUNG UND PFLEGE
DER POWERPACKS
Um eine lange Lebensdauer zu gewährleisten, müssen
die Powerpacks in trockenen Räumen bei Zimmer-
temperatur voll aufgeladen, ausgeschaltet (Stufe 0)
und abgesteckt von Heizsohle und Ladegerät gelagert
werden.

Reinigen Sie die Teile bei Bedarf mit einem weichen,
leicht angefeuchtetem Tuch und einem milden Spül-
mittel.
Achtung: Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung das Ladegerät
aus der Steckdose.
BEFESTIGUNGSMÖGLICHKEITEN
DER POWERPACKS
®Powerpacks mit dem Drahtbügel direkt an der
Außenkante des Schuhs befestigen (Bild 1.1)
Außerdem ist noch weiters Zubehör im Fachhandel
erhältlich. So können Sie die Liionpacks:
®mit Therm-ic Velcro Straps sicher am Schuh oder
Unterschenkel befestigen (Bild 1.2)
®mit dem Therm-ic Skischuhadapter oder dem Uni-
versal Powerpack Adapter am Schuh anbringen (Bild
2)
®mit Hilfe des Verlängerungskabels (in den Längen
80 cm oder 120 cm erhältlich) in die Jacke- oder
Hosentasche stecken oder an der Hüfte (z.B. Gürtel
usw.) befestigen (Bild 3)
Wichtiger Hinweis: Liionpacks nicht an glatten, rut-
schigen Stellen befestigen – Verlustgefahr!
ENTSORGUNG
Wenn das Gerät einmal ausgedient hat, dann entsorgen
Sie es samt seiner Verpackung im Interesse des Umwelt-
schutzes ordnungsgemäß.
Werfen Sie das Ladegerät und die Supermax Powerpacks
nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern geben Sie die Teile an
einer Sammelstelle für Elektroschrott ab.
Verpackungsmaterialien sind Rohstoffe und können
wieder verwendet werden. Führen Sie diese deshalb dem
Recycling zu.
Batterien müssen an den vorgesehen Sammelstellen
abgegeben werden.
Nähere Auskunft erteilt Ihnen Ihre zuständige örtliche
Verwaltung.
ZUBEHÖR UND ERSATZTEILE
Bei nachträglichem Kauf von Zubehör- oder Ersatzteilen
unbedingt auf die genaue Therm-ic Modellbezeichnung
hinweisen. Idealerweise nehmen Sie das auszutauschen-
de Einzelteil zu Ihrem Fachhändler mit.
Wir bieten eine Anzahl von Zubehörartikel an. Alle Artikel
(Zubehör und Ersatzteile) sind auch einzeln erhältlich. Ihr
Fachhändler informiert Sie gerne.

Soles (heated Therm-ic insoles) or shoes/soles with
ThermicInside (with pre-installed Therm-ic heating
systems).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
®If you have problems sensing hot or cold objects (e.g.
diabetics, disabled persons etc.), please consult your
doctor before using the unit.
®Check your feet regularly for reddening of the skin.
Excessive heat levels over prolonged periods can lead
to burns. Children should use the unit only under the
supervision of adults
®Powerpacks are water-resistant. If you have attached
the Liionpack to your shoes, these should always
be connected to the heatable soles when outdoors
(even if not switched on), to prevent moisture or dirt
from entering the socket or plug. If water enters the
Powerpack, drain the water and allow the unit to dry.
®For recharging, use the Therm-ic original power
adapter. It is designed for indoor use and may not be
exposed to moisture.
®Do not insert any objects, especially metal objects,
into connecting sockets or plugs to avoid damaging
the unit.
®If damage to connecting cables or other parts of the
unit is found, do not use the unit. Do not make any
modifications to the unit or use it for any unintended
purpose. Repairs to the unit or its connecting leads
should only be performed by the manufacturer.
®If questions or problems arise, please get in touch
with your dealer or the manufacturer.
®Dispose of used Liionpacks properly.
®Do not throw Liionpacks into an open fire, as there is
a risk of explosion

of the charger until it locks in with an audible click.

INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of a Therm-ic
Supermax Powerpack.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
The Supermax Powerpacks have two operating modes:
POWER OFF - IN USE
These modes are clearly indicated on the device display
(red LED):
POWER OFF:
The level switch is set to level "0". The device display
(red LED) remains off. The Powerpack is now complete-
ly switched off.
IN USE:
The Powerpack is supplying the connected Therm-ic
sole with power. Each Powerpack can be individually set
to 3 different heat levels. The device display (red LED)
turns on.
IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES
®When using the heating element cable, plug it into
the Powerpack until it can be clearly felt to engage.
®When using the unit, do not allow level 3 to be
switched on longer than a few minutes at a time.
Otherwise too much heat can be produced during
operation, which could lead to burns.
®Always set Powerpacks to level 1 or 2 to maintain
a comfortable level of warmth for your feet (heating
should be almost undetectable).
®The optimum heat output is reached when your
shoes and soles are dry.
USE AND FUNCTIONS
The desired heat level can be individually set for each
Powerpack using the level switch (levels 1, 2, 3).

SERVICE, STORAGE AND CARE
OF THE POWERPACKS
To provide for long product life, store the Powerpacks
fully charged, turned off (level “0”) and disconnected
from heating insoles and the charger in a dry place at
room temperature. Clean the parts as needed with a
soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleanser.
ATTENTION: Always remove the charger from the outlet
before cleaning it.
METHODS FOR ATTACHING
THE POWERPACKS
®Attach the Powerpack to the outer edge of a shoe
with the wire clip (Fig. 1.1).
Additional accessories are also available at your local
dealer. This allows you to attach the Powerpacks to as
follows:
®Use Therm-ic Velcro Straps to attach the powerpacks
to a shoe or your lower leg (Fig. 1.2).

Charging procedure
Each Powerpack has an LED that shows the charge
status (see table).
Important: First, connect the charger to the socket.
Attach both Powerpacks to the charging cable. The
charging process begins automatically (the correspon-
ding LED turns on).
The Powerpacks are automatically monitored and
turned off by the integrated electronics, regardless of
the charge status. After successful charging (max. 4
hours), the Powerpacks are automatically switched to
maintenance charging mode (the corresponding LED
will blink).
In case of an error, the charging process is automatically
stopped after 5 hours.

®Connect the Powerpacks to a boot using the Therm-ic
Ski boot adapter or the Universal Powerpack Adap-
ter (Fig 2).
®By using the extension cable (available in 80 cm and
120 cm lengths), place it in the pocket of your jacket
or trousers or secure it to your hips (e.g. belt, etc.)
(Fig. 3).
WARNING: Do not attach the Powerpacks to smooth,
slippery places, as they could get lost.
DISPOSAL
If the device can no longer be used, please dispose of it
and its packaging in an environmentally-friendly way that
is in accordance with current regulations.
Do not throw the charger or the Supermax Powerpacks
away with normal household trash. Instead, dispose of the
parts at a collection site for electrical waste.
Packaging materials are raw materials and can be recyc-
led. For this reason, please recycle the packaging.
Batteries must be disposed of at proper collection sites.
Please contact your local public authorities for more
information.
ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS
When subsequently purchasing accessories or spare parts
make sure to give the exact Therm-ic model designation.
Ideally, take the part to be replaced with you to your
dealer.
We offer a number of accessories. All articles (accessories
and spare parts) are also available individually. Your dealer
will be happy to advise you.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE

®Contrôlez régulièrement si vos pieds ne présentent
pas de rougeurs. Vous risquez des brûlures dans le
cas où l‘exposition à la chaleur excessive dure trop
longtemps. Par conséquent, les enfants ne doivent
utiliser cet article que sous la surveillance et la
responsabilité d‘un adulte.
®Les Powerpacks sont étanches aux projections d‘eau.
Lorsque vous avez fixé les Powerpacks sur vos chaus-
sures, ils doivent rester branchés (même sans être
allumés) sur les semelles chauffantes lorsque vous
les portez à l‘extérieur pour éviter que l‘humidité ou
la saleté ne pénètre dans la prise d‘entrée ou dans la
prise d‘alimentation. Dans le cas contraire, videz l‘eau
qui se serait introduite et séchez le Powerpack.
®N‘utilisez pour la charge que l‘adaptateur réseau
Therm-ic d‘origine. Il a été conçu pour une utilisation
en intérieur et ne doit pas être exposé à l‘humidité.
®N‘introduisez pas d‘objets métalliques ou autres dans
la prise d‘entrée, car cela risquerait d‘endommager
l‘article.
®Si vous deviez constater que les cordons de rac-
cordement ou d‘autres pièces de l‘article devaient
être endommagées, celui-ci ne doit plus être utilisé.
N‘apportez pas de modification à l‘article et ne
l‘affectez pas à un autre usage que celui prévu. Faites
réparer les pièces de l‘appareil ou ses cordons de
raccordement par le fabricant uniquement.
®Pour toute question ou tout problème qui se présen-
terait, veuillez vous adresser à votre revendeur ou au
fabricant.
®Mettre les Powerpacks au rebut dans le respect des
règles applicables !

INTRODUCTION
Nous vous félicitons pour l‘achat du Therm-ic Super-
max Powerpack.

MISE EN SERVICE ET CHARGEMENT
DES POWERPACKS
Préparation du chargeur :
Introduisez l‘adaptateur dans le logement situé à
l‘arrière du chargeur jusqu‘à ce qu‘il s‘encliquète de
manière audible.
Remarque : Veuillez également lire les instructions de
la notice d‘information.
Processus de charge
Chaque Powerpack est équipé d‘une DEL qui affiche
l‘état de charge (voir tableau).
Important :
Brancher tout d‘abord le chargeur sur la prise.
Brancher ensuite les deux Powerpacks au câble du
chargeur. La charge commence automatiquement (la
DEL correspondante est allumée).
L‘électronique intégrée surveille et éteint les Powerpacks
automatiquement, quelque soit l‘état de charge pendant
la charge. Une fois chargée (4 heures max.), la batterie
passe automatiquement en mode Maintien de charge
(la DEL correspondante clignote).
En cas d‘erreur, la charge s‘interrompt automatique-
ment au bout de 5 heures.
DESCRIPTION DES FONCTIONS
Les Supermax Powerpacks disposent de deux modes :
ARRÊT - MARCHE
Ces modes sont signalés par le voyant (DEL rouge) :
ARRÊT :
Le commutateur d‘allure est sur 0. Le voyant (DEL
rouge) est éteint en continu. Le Powerpack est entière-
ment éteint.
MARCHE :
Le Powerpack alimente la semelle Therm-ic. La
puissance de chauffage est réglable individuellement à
l‘aide de 3 allures de chauffage différentes.
Le voyant (DEL rouge) est allumé.
CONSEILS IMPORTANTS POUR
L‘UTILISATION
®Fixez fermement le cordon de l‘élément chauffant au
Powerpack jusqu‘à ce qu‘il s‘enclipse.
®Lors de la mise en service, ne laissez pas le niveau
3 activé pendant plus de quelques minute ; une
utilisation en continu risque d‘élever la température
de manière excessive, et d‘occasionner des brûlures.
®Toujours régler les Powerpacks sur le niveau 1 ou 2
afin de conserver une chaleur confortable pour les
pieds (le chauffage devrait être pratiquement imper-
ceptible).
®La température de chauffage optimale est atteinte
lorsque les chaussures ou les semelles sont sèches.
COMMANDE ET FONCTIONS
Un commutateur d‘allure de chauffage permet de
régler la puissance de chauffage individuellement
(allure 1, 2, 3).
PUISSANCE DE CHAUFFAGE
MAINTENANCE, STOCKAGE ET
ENTRETIEN DES POWERPACKS
Afin de garantir une durée d‘utilisation prolongée, les
Powerpacks doivent être stockés à l‘abri de l‘humidité
et à température ambiante, chargés, éteints (allure 0) et
déconnectés de la semelle chauffante et du chargeur.
Au besoin, nettoyez les pièces à l‘aide d‘un chiffon doux
légèrement humide et d‘un nettoyant doux.
Attention : Avant chaque nettoyage, débranchez le
chargeur.

FIXATION DES POWERPACKS
®Fixer les Powerpacks à l‘aide du fil métallique juste
sur le bord extérieur de la chaussure (illustration 1.1)
Vous trouverez d‘autres accessoires chez votre revendeur
spécialisé. Possibilités concernant les Powerpacks :
®Fixer fermement les Therm-ic Velcro Straps sur la
chaussure ou sur le mollet (illustration 1.2)
®Placer à l‘aide de l‘adaptateur de chaussure de ski
Therm-ic ou l‘adaptateur Powerpack universel, sur
la chaussure (illustration 2).
®Mettre dans la poche de la veste ou du pantalon à
l‘aide du câble de rallonge (longueur disponible :
entre 80 cm et 120 cm) ou à la taille (ceinture par
exemple, etc.) (illustration 3)

Ne jetez pas le chargeur et les Supermax Powerpacks
dans les ordures ménagères mais déposez-les dans un
point de collecte des déchets électroniques.
Les matériaux d‘emballage sont des matières premières
recyclables. Confiez-les à un centre de recyclage.
Les piles doivent être déposées dans un point de collecte.
Pour plus de précisions, consultez votre administration

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
®Se non si riesce a percepire bene il caldo o il freddo
(ad es. nel caso di persone diabetiche, persone con
handicap, ecc.), si prega di consultare il proprio
medico di fiducia prima di utilizzare il dispositivo.
®Controllare regolarmente i propri piedi per rilevare
eventuali rossori della pelle. Ad elevate potenze di
riscaldamento, per un periodo prolungato, possono
verificarsi ustioni. È quindi necessario che i bambini
utilizzino il dispositivo solo sotto la supervisione di un
adulto.
®I Powerpack sono protetti contro gli spruzzi d’acqua.
Una volta fissati i Powerpack alle proprie scarpe,
è necessario che questi siano collegati sempre
all’aperto (anche se non attivati) alle suole riscaldabili
per impedire l’infiltrazione di umidità o impurità negli
attacchi di collegamento o nelle spine. Altrimenti
è necessario versarvi dell’acqua e far asciugare il
Powerpack.
®Per la ricarica utilizzare solo l’adattatore di rete origi-
nale Therm-ic compreso nella fornitura. È prodotto
per essere impiegato in ambienti chiusi e non deve
essere esposto all’umidità.
®Non introdurre alcun oggetto in metallo o altri tipi di
oggetti negli attacchi di collegamento o nelle spine
poiché possono danneggiare l’articolo.
®Qualora si dovesse riscontrare un danno ai cavi di
collegamento o su altre parti dell’articolo, è necessario
che l’articolo non venga più utilizzato. Non eseguire
alcuna modifica sull’articolo e non utilizzarlo in modo
improprio. Le riparazioni sui componenti dell’articolo
o sui suoi cavi di collegamento devono essere esegui-
te solo dalla casa produttrice.

MESSA IN ESERCIZIO E CARICA
DEI POWERPACK
Preparazione del caricabatterie:
Inserire l’adattatore adatto nell’alloggiamento sulla
parte posteriore del caricabatterie fino a quando non
scatta saldamente in posizione in modo udibile.
Nota: Prestare attenzione anche al foglio informativo
allegato!
Processo di carica
Per ogni Powerpack è disponibile un LED che visualizza
il livello di carica (vedere tabella).
Importante:
Collegare prima il caricabatterie alla presa di corrente.
Quindi collegare entrambi i Powerpack al cavo di
carica del caricabatterie. Il processo di carica ha inizio
automaticamente (il LED corrispondente si illumina).
Con l’elettronica integrata i Powerpack sono controllati e
spenti in modo completamente automatico, indipen-
dentemente dallo stato di carica, durante il processo di
carica. Dopo una carica riuscita (max. 4 ore) avviene
automaticamente la commutazione alla modalità carica
di mantenimento (il LED corrispondente lampeggia).
In caso di errore il processo di carica è interrotto auto-
maticamente dopo 5 ore.
DESCRIZIONE DELLE FUNZIONI
I Supermax Powerpack hanno due stati di funzionamen-
to: POWER-OFF - FUNZIONAMENTO
Questi sono chiariti con la visualizzazione di operatività
(LED rosso):
POWER-OFF:
L’interruttore a livelli è sul livello 0. La visualizzazione di
operatività (LED rosso) è permanentemente spenta. Il
Powerpack è completamente spento.
FUNZIONAMENTO:
Il Powerpack alimenta la soletta Therm-ic collegata
fornendole energia. La potenza di riscaldamento può
essere regolata individualmente con 3 diversi livelli di
riscaldamento. La visualizzazione di operatività (LED
rosso) si illumina.
AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI PER L‘UTILIZZO
®Per l’uso è necessario collegare in modo stabile il
cavo dell’elemento riscaldante al Powerpack fino a
quando non viene percepito un chiaro aggancio.
®Alla messa in esercizio è necessario che il livello 3
non venga lasciato attivo per un periodo superiore ad
un paio di minuti; in caso di funzionamento continuo
si potrebbe creare troppo calore – pericolo di ustioni!
®Posizionare i Powerpack sempre al livello 1 o 2 per
mantenere costante il calore gradevole ai piedi (il
riscaldamento non dovrebbe essere quasi percepito).
®La potenza di riscaldamento ottimale viene raggiunta
quando le scarpe o le suole sono asciutte.
COMANDO E FUNZIONI
La potenza di riscaldamento desiderata può essere
impostata singolarmente per mezzo di un interruttore a
livelli (livello 1, 2, 3).

Per garantire una lunga durata, è necessario conservare
i Powerpack in locali asciutti a temperatura ambiente,
completamente scollegati, spenti (livello 0) e con la spi-
na staccata dalla soletta riscaldabile e dal caricabatterie.

Pulire i mezzi, se necessario, con un panno leggero
e morbido, leggermente umido, e con un detersivo
delicato.
Attenzione: Prima di ogni pulizia estrarre il caricabatte-
rie dalla presa di corrente.
POSSIBILITÀ DI FISSAGGIO
DEI POWERPACK
®fissare i Powerpack con l’arco di fil di ferro diretta-
mente al bordo esterno della scarpa (figura 1.1)
Nei negozi specializzati sono inoltre disponibili ulteriori
accessori. In questo modo è possibile eseguire le segu-
enti operazioni sui Powerpack:
®fissarli in modo sicuro alla scarpa o alla gamba con
Therm-ic Velcro Straps (figura 1.2)
®applicarli alla scarpa con l‘adattatore per scarpe da
sci Therm-ic o l’adattatore universale Powerpack
(figura 2)
®con l’ausilio del cavo di prolunga (disponibile nelle
lunghezze da 80 cm o 120 cm) inserirli nella tasca
della giacca o dei pantaloni oppure fissarli ai fianchi
(ad es. cintura ecc.) (figura 3)
ATTENZIONE: I Powerpack non devono essere fissati
su superfici lisce e scivolose perché in questo modo li
si potrebbe perdere.
SMALTIMENTO
Quando il dispositivo è diventato inservibile, smaltir-
lo in maniera ordinata assieme alla sua confezione
nell’interesse della protezione dell’ambiente.
Non gettare il caricabatterie e i Supermax Powerpack nei
rifiuti domestici, consegnare invece i pezzi ad un centro di
raccolta per rottami elettrici.
I materiali da imballaggio sono materie prime e possono
essere riutilizzati. Consegnarli perciò al riciclaggio.
Le batterie devono essere consegnate ai centri di raccolta
previsti.
Ulteriori informazioni saranno comunicate dal responsabi-
le locale competente.

indicare necessariamente il relativo modello Therm-ic.

INDICACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
®Por favor, en el caso de que no pueda apreciar el
calor o el frío correctamente (por ejemplo: diabéticos,
minusválidos) entonces consulte a su médico antes
de utilizar el aparato.
®Controle regularmente si la piel de los pies está enro-
jecida. La utilización de una temperatura demasiado
alta durante un tiempo prolongado puede causar
quemaduras. Por ello, los niños sólo deberían utilizar
el artículo bajo vigilancia de un adulto.
®Los Powerpacks son a prueba de salpicaduras de
agua. Si tiene los Powerpacks fijados al calzado
debería tenerlos siempre enchufados a las plantillas
térmicas (aunque estén desconectados) para evitar
que penetre humedad o suciedad en los contactos o
enchufes. Por otra parte deje que salga el agua y que
el Powerpack se seque
®Utilice para recargar sólo el adaptador de red original
Therm-ic suministrado. Está concebido para interio-
res y no debe exponerse a la humedad.
®No introduzca ningún objeto de metal ni ningún otro
objeto en los contactos ni enchufes ya que con ello
podría deteriorarse el artículo.
®Si aprecia un deterioro en los cables de conexión o
en otras partes del artículo entonces no debe seguir
utilizándolo. No haga ninguna modificación en el artí-
culo ni lo utilice con una finalidad distinta. Encargue
las reparaciones de las piezas del artículo y de sus
cables de conexión sólo al fabricante.

desconecta. Una vez finalizada la carga (4 horas como
máximo) se conmuta automáticamente al modo de
carga de mantenimiento (el diodo correspondiente luce
intermitentemente).
En caso de que surja un fallo se interrumpe automática-
mente el proceso de carga transcurridas 5 horas.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL FUNCIONAMIENTO
Los Supermax Powerpacks tienen dos estados de fun-
cionamiento: POWER OFF - FUNCIONAMIENTO
Cada uno de ellos se indica con claridad con el indica-
dor de funcionamiento (diodo rojo):
POWER OFF:
El conmutador de escalas está a 0. El indicador de
funcionamiento está desconectado permanentemente
(diodo rojo). El Powerpack está desconectado comple-
tamente.
FUNCIONAMIENTO:
El Powerpack suministra energía a la plantilla Therm-ic
conectada. La potencia térmica puede ajustarse indivi-
dualmente a 3 escalas térmicas diferentes. El indicador
de funcionamiento (diodo rojo) se ilumina.
INDICACIONES IMPORTANTES
PARA EL USO
®Para su uso hay que conectar firmemente el cable
de los elementos calefactores al Powerpack debiendo
notarse claramente que encaja.
®Al utilizarlos no debe estar conectada la escala 3 más
de unos pocos minutos; si se utiliza continuamente
puede generar demasiado calor. ¡Peligro de quema-
duras!
®Los Powerpacks tienen que funcionar siempre en la
escala 1 o 2 para mantener un calor agradable en los
pies (la calefacción apenas debería notarse).
®La capacidad térmica óptima se logra si el calzado y
las suelas están secos.
MANEJO Y FUNCIONES
La potencia térmica deseada puede ajustarse individual-
mente utilizando un conmutador de escalas
(escalas 1, 2, 3).

Los Powerpacks tienen que almacenarse en recintos
secos a temperatura de habitación dejándolos cargados,
desconectados (escala 0) y desenchufados de la suela
térmica y del cargador para garantizar una larga vida
útil.
Limpie las piezas cuando sea necesario utilizando un
paño blando y ligeramente humedecido y aplicando un
detergente no agresivo.
ATENCIÓN: Desenchufe el cargador de la caja de
enchufe antes de cada limpieza.

Cada Powerpack dispone de un diodo que indica el
estado de carga (véase tabla).
Importante:
Conecte primero el cargador a la caja de enchufe.
Conecte luego los dos Powerpacks al cable de carga
del cargador. El proceso de carga comienza automáti-
camente (se ilumina el diodo correspondiente).
El sistema electrónico integrado controla automática-
mente los Powerpacks durante el proceso de carga,
independientemente de su estado de carga, y los

DE LOS POWERPACKS
®Fije los Powerpacks con el enganche de alambre
directamente al borde exterior del calzado (ilustración
1.1)
Además hay disponibles accesorios adicionales en
el comercio especializado. Ello ofrece las siguientes
posibilidades para los Powerpacks:
®Fíjelos con la cinta Therm-ic Velcro Straps al calzado
o a la pantorrilla (ilustración 1.2)
®Colocarlos en la bota de esquiar con el adaptador
para botas de esquiar Therm-ic o el adaptador
Universal Powerpack (ilustración 2)
®Póngalos en un bolsillo de la chaqueta o del pan-
talón, o engánchelos en la cintura (por ejemplo, en
el cinturón, etc.) utilizando para ello el cable prolon-
gador (disponible con 80 cm o 120 cm de longitud)

ATENCIÓN: Los Powerpacks no deberían fijarse en
puntos lisos y deslizantes: ¡Peligro de pérdida!
ELIMINACIÓN DE RESIDUOS
Una vez concluida la vida útil del aparato, deséchelo debi-
damente junto con el embalaje en interés de la protección
medioambiental.
No eche el cargador ni los Supermax Powerpacks en la
basura doméstica; estos componentes deben entregarse
en un punto de recogida de residuos eléctricos.
Los materiales del embalaje son materias primas que
pueden volver a utilizarse. Entréguelas por ello para su
reciclaje.
Las pilas tienen que entregarse en los puntos de recogida
previstos para ello.
La administración local competente le da informaciones
más detalladas.
ACCESORIOS Y PIEZAS DE REPUESTO
Al adquirir posteriormente accesorios o piezas de repuesto
es imprescindible dar la denominación exacta del modelo
Therm-ic. Lo ideal sería llevar a su concesionario la pieza
que desee cambiar.

accesorios. Todos los artículos (accesorios y piezas de

VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN
®Indien u warmte of koude niet goed kunt waarnemen
(bijv. diabetici, gehandicapten, enz.), moet u het
gebruik van het apparaat met uw arts bespreken.
®Controleert u uw voeten regelmatig op rode verkleu-
ringen van de huid. Een te hoge verwarmingsver-
mogen gedurende langere tijd kan verbrandingen
veroorzaken. Kinderen mogen de artikelen daarom
alleen onder toezicht van een volwassene gebruiken.
®De Powerpacks zijn bestand tegen spatwater. Indien
u de Powerpacks aan uw schoenen bevestigde, dan
moeten deze steeds (ook als ze niet zijn ingescha-
keld) op de verwarmbare zolen worden aangesloten,
om het binnendringen van vocht resp. vuil in de
aansluitbussen of de stekkers ter vermijden. In het
andere geval het water laten uitlopen en de Power-
pack laten opdrogen.
®Gebruikt u voor het opladen alleen de meegeleverde
Therm-ic originele netadapter. Hij is bedoel voor
gebruik binnen, en mag niet worden blootgesteld aan
vocht.
®Stopt u geen metalen of andere voorwerpen in de
aansluitbussen of stekkers; hierdoor kan het artikel
beschadigd raken.
®Indien u schade vaststelt aan de aansluitleidingen of
andere delen van het systeem, dan mag het artikel
niet verder worden gebruikt. Voer geen wijzigingen uit
aan het artikel, en gebruik het niet voor andere doel-
einden. Laat herstellingen aan delen van het artikel
of de aansluitleidingen ervan alleen door de fabrikant

IN BEDRIJF NEMEN EN LADEN VAN
DE POWERPACKS
Voorbereiden van het laadapparaat:
Schuif de juiste adapter in de gleuf aan de achterzijde
van het laadapparaat tot hij hoorbaar vastklikt.
AANWIJZING: Let daartoe ook op het meegeleverde
informatieblad!
Laden
Voor elk Powerpack is een LED beschikbaar, die de
laadtoestand aangeeft (zie tabel).
Belangrijk:
Eerst het laadapparaat op het stopcontact aansluiten.
Daarna beide Powerpacks op de laadkabel van het
laadapparaat aansluiten. Het laadproces start automa-
tisch (de betrokken LED licht op).
Door de geïntegreerde elektronica worden de Power-
packs onafhankelijk van de laadtoestand tijdens het
laadproces volautomatisch bewaakt en uitgeschakeld.
Na het opladen (max. 4 uren) wordt er automatisch
overgeschakeld op de onderhoudsmodus (de betrokken
LED gaat knipperen).
Bij een fout wordt het laadproces na 5 uren automatisch
afgebroken.
BESCHRIJVING VAN DE WERKING
De Supermax Powerpacks hebben twee bedrijfstoestan-
den: POWER-OFF - BEDRIJF
Deze zijn zichtbaar op de bedrijfsindicatie (rode LED):
POWER-OFF:
De schakelaar staat in de stand 0. De bedrijfsindicatie
(rode LED) is permanent uit. Het Powerpack is volledig
uitgeschakeld.
BEDRIJF:
Het Powerpack voorziet de aangesloten Therm-ic zool
van energie. Het warmtevermogen kan in 3 verschillen-
de verwarmingsstappen individueel worden ingesteld.
De bedrijfsindicatie (rode LED) licht op.
BELANGRIJKE AANWIJZINGEN VOOR
HET GEBRUIK
®Bij gebruik de kabel naar het verwarmingselement
goed aansluiten op het Powerpack, tot een duidelijk
vastklikken merkbaar is.
®Bij bedrijfsstap 3 niet langer dan een paar minuten
ingeschakeld laten; bij duurbedrijf kan anders te grote
hitte ontstaan – gevaar op verbranding!
®De Powerpacks steeds op stand 1 of 2 instellen, om
de voeten behaaglijk te verwarmen (de verwarming
mag nauwelijks merkbaar zijn).
®Een optimale verwarmingsvermogen wordt bereikt als
de schoenen resp. zolen droog zijn.
BEDIENING EN FUNCTIES
Het gewenste warmtevermogen kan met behulp van de
schakelaar individueel worden ingesteld (stap 1, 2, 3).

Om een lange levensduur te garanderen, moeten de
Powerpacks in een droge ruimte en bij kamertempera-
tuur volledig opgeladen, uitgeschakeld (stand 0) en los-
gekoppeld van de verwarmingszool en het laadapparaat
worden opgeslagen.
