Answer a call to SIM 1 or SIM 2.
Make a call by using SIM1.
View call logs in standby mode.

Press and hold to turn the phone on/off.
End a call or reject an incoming call.
Return to the idle mode.

1.3 Display Symbols
Symbole Description
Network - Indicates signal strength (no bar indicates no signal; 4 bars indicate strongest).
Battery - Indicates battery level.
Message - Indicates you have one or more unread messages.
Missed call - Indicates there is a missed call.
Call Divert - Indicates that “Divert All Voice Calls” is activated.
Lock- Indicates that the keypad is locked.
Alarm-Indicates that the alarm clock is on.
Headset-Indicates that headset profile is activated.
Alert type is “Ring”.

Vibrate – Indicates that the vibrator is on.
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Vib. then ring”
Indicates your phone uses the alert type of “Vib. and ring”.

2 Getting Started
Please read the safety instructions in the "Safety Information and Notices" section before use.
This section provides information about the Calback Services with this mobile phone when a Callback SIM card is
installed.
2.1 Inserting the SIM Card and the battery
2.1.1 Remove the back cover and the battery
Make sure the phone is switched off. Hold the phone with the front facing downwards; lift the back cover p
to remove it.

2.1.2 Insert the SIM card
Make sure that the metallic contacts are facing downwards.
Insert the SIM card into SIM1 slot or into SIM2 slot or both.
2.1.3 Install the battery
With the metallic contacts of the battery facing the metallic contacts in the battery slot, press the battery
down into its slot until it locks into place.
2.1.4 Insert a T-Flash Card (Optional)
Lift up the T-Flash card cover, with the metal contacts facing down, gently slide the T-Flash card into the slot.
Press and push the cover to lock it. “Lock” will prompt you in the correct direction.

2.2 Power on
To power on, press and hold the Power key. Enter the SIM PIN code if required. If you enter an incorrect PIN code 3
times in succession, your SIM card will be locked. To unlock it obtain the PUK code from your network operator.
2.3 Charging the Battery
Ensure the battery is inserted in the handset. To charge the battery, plug in the charger connector at the bottom of
your phone (charger port) and then plug the other end into an AC power socket.
The battery symbol indicates the charging status. While charging, the charge indicators will scroll. When all the scroll
bars are steady, the battery is fully charged. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery.
Disconnect the charger from the phone.
Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.
If the battery is completely flat, the battery icon will reappear after a few minutes of charging.

2.4 Keypad Auto Lock
Go to Settings > Security settings > Auto keypad lock to select the time for keypad lock.
In idle mode, if the time expires, the keypad will be locked automatically.

2.5 Callback Services
2.5.1 Quick Start
The Callback SIM card has to be inserted in SIM 1 slot. The SIM 2 slot can be used for a ‘local’ or a ‘home’ SIM card.
1. Insert the Callback SIM Card into SIM 1 slot
2. Power on the mobile phone; when prompt then enter the digit 1 (Global Profile) and the PIN e.g. 1XXXX. The
SIM 4 digits PIN XXXX is provided on the SIM card.
From the next power on, the mobile phone will automatically select the optimal SIM profile, depending on your
location.

Please dial in the following format, omitting the 0 before the Area code (except when dialing an Italian number):
00 + Country code + Area code + Number
2.5.2 Masking Callback
When dialing a number to call or calling a short code number the mobile phone will mask network Callback messages
and will automatically answer the incoming callback call.
A simulated calling tone is added during the connection period to reassure that the call setup is in progress until the
callback call is connected.
Note: International calls may fail to connect sometimes, if the call is not connected within 25 seconds, please end the
call and try again after 30 seconds.
You can end the call at any time after initiating the Callback call.
2.5.3 Automatic SIM Profile Selection
The handset makes an automatic selection of the SIM Profile depending on the present country location. This will
ensure that the correct selection of the SIM Profile for the best call rate is chosen without a manual involvement.

Within Menu > Callback Services, when ‘Profile Select Mode’ is set to ON, the mobile phone will take control of the
active SIM Profile and PIN.
To override the Automatic Profile Selection: Go to Menu and then to the Callback Services icon and under Profile
Select Mode, select OFF and then OK.
When Automatic SIM Profile is set to OFF, there will be a prompt after each power ON to ‘Input SIM1 PIN’, then
enter the SIM Profile number and PIN.
It is recommended to keep Automatic SIM Profile in ON state at all times.
2.5.4 Automatic Forward Callback (AFC)
When the AFC is ON, the user continues dialing as usual from the Callback SIM card in the SIM 1 slot but the callback
is answered by a local SIM card in the SIM 2 slot. The mobile phone will manage the right conditions of switching the
AFC to ON or OFF.
After inserting a SIM into SIM 2 slot, please enter the number of the SIM in SIM 2 slot; If it was not done after Power
ON then this can be entered at any time: Go to Menu then Callback Services then Automatic Forward Callback then
Forward Callback To and then enter the number with the country code. For example, for a SIM with home country in
India please enter: 919855558888 ; 91 is the country code for India, 98 is the area code for New Delhi and 55558888

is the mobile phone number.
To activate AFC, please follow one simple step:
Go to Menu then Callback Services then Automatic Forward Callback and then under Forward Callback Mode select
ON and then OK. The mobile phone must be in Global Profile and in the country location that is same as the ‘home’
country of the SIM in SIM 2 slot;
Please validate that the number in ‘Forward Callback To’ is correct by calling the same number from another phone
Upon departure of the country where the AFC was in ON mode, the handset will prompt to cancel AFC, please select
OK to cancel. If the cancelation was not successful the mobile phone will request the user to send a new cancelation
to the network until the service will be cancelled on the network .
2.5.5 Network Steering
The default status of Network Steering is ON. This feature enables the Operator to remotely select a different
network while in Global profile.
This selection is performed by sending server SMS to the user’s mobile phone starting with *626638*.

2.5.6 Reset to factory setting and erasing all user data
Enter *#73738# will erase all call logs, SMS logs, pictures and other user records and will reset to factory setting.

3 Keypad
3.1 Input Method
Your cellular phone supports several input methods, including: Upper case ABC or Lower Case abc or Numeric 123
3.1.1 Changing the input modes
During text editing, press the Shift Key to switch input modes.
or press the Left Soft Key [Options] and choose Input Method to select different input modes.
3.1.2 Entering Symbols
In any input mode, press the Symbol Key to open the symbols input screen. Use the Navigation key to choose the
desired symbol and press the Ok key to select it.
or press the Left Soft Key [Options] and choose Input Method and then Insert Symbol to select symbol of choice.
3.2 Key Input

FN Key Activate FN mode to enter digits or characters printed on the top part of the keys, Press
the FN Key once to activate it once, press the FN Key twice can activate FN mode all the
time, in this case, to deactivate the FN mode, press the FN key.

In idle mode, long press to switch on the Torch.
Enter Key Press to input in a new line
Delete Key Press to clear a letter
Shift Key Press to switch input methods when entering text.
Symbol Key Press to enter symbol.
