Vielen Dank für den Kauf des Klang Metro-Tuners SMT-1. Bitte lesen Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und bewahren Sie diese gut auf, falls
sie später noch einmal benötigt wird.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von Kindern und Haustieren fern.
• Falls Sie Fragen haben, die nicht in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beantwortet
werden, wenden Sie sich bitte an uns oder an qualifiziertes technisches
Personal.
• Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ausschließlich ein trockenes, sauberes Tuch.
• Verwenden Sie keinerlei Flüssigkeiten wie z.B. Reinigungsbenzin, Verdün-
nungs- oder Spülmittel. Verwenden Sie niemals brennbare Reiniger!
• Wenden Sie bei der Bedienung von Schaltern und Reglern niemals Gewalt an.
EINSETZEN DER BATTERIE
• Achten Sie beim Einsetzen der Batterie auf die richtige Polarität.
• Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
• Wenn das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, entnehmen Sie die
Batterie und setzen diese erneut nach ca. 10 Sekunden wieder ein.
• Wird die Anzeige zunehmend dunkler und schlecht lesbar, ersetzen Sie die
Batterie gegen eine neue.
• Entsorgen Sie die alte Batterie ordnungsgemäß.

STIMMEN
Sie können Ihr Instrument mittels eingebautem Mikrofon oder über den Klinke-
neingang stimmen. Schließen Sie ihre elektrisch verstärkten Instrumente mittels
6,3 mm Klinkenkabel an, um bessere Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Sie können auch
den mitgelieferten Tonabnehmer an das Instrument klemmen und diesen an den
Eingang anschließen. Spielen Sie den zu stimmenden Ton an. Der Tuner erkennt
diesen automatisch und zeigt ihn auf dem Display an. Achtung: Stellen Sie bei
Saiteninstrumenten sicher, dass die Saiten nicht zu fest oder zu lose sind.
Beachten Sie das Display, während Sie die zu stimmende Note spielen: Befindet
sich der Messzeiger links der Mitte und leuchtet die linke LED rot auf, so
ist die Tonhöhe etwas zu tief, befindet sich der Messzeiger rechts der Mitte
und leuchtet die rechte LED rot auf, so ist die Tonhöhe etwas zu hoch. Ist die
korrekte Tonhöhe erreicht und steht der Messzeiger in der Mitte, so leuchtet die
LED über der Mitte grün.

HINWEISE ZUR RÜCKGABE VON BATTERIEN
GEMÄSS §12 BATTERIEVERORDNUNG
Batterien dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll gegeben werden. Sie sind zur Rückgabe
gebrauchter Batterien als Endverbraucher gesetzlich verpflichtet. Sie können
Batterien nach Gebrauch in der Verkaufsstelle oder in deren unmittelbarer Nähe
(z.B. in kommunalen Sammelstellen oder im Handel) unentgeltlich zurückge-
ben. Sie können Batterien auch per Post an uns zurücksenden. Batterien oder
Akkus, die Schadstoffe enthalten, sind mit dem Symbol einer durchgekreuzten
Mülltonne gekennzeichnet. In der Nähe des Mülltonnensymbols befindet sich
die chemische Bezeichnung des Schadstoffes. Cd steht für Cadmium, Pb für
Blei und Hg für Quecksilber.

Elektrische und elektronische Geräte müssen am Ende ihrer Nutzungsdauer

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact us or other technical personnel.
• For cleaning all you need is a dry, soft and clean cloth.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other
inflammable, chemical solutions.
• Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
BATTERY USE
• Make sure the polarity is correct when putting in a new battery.
• Remove the battery when the unit is not in use for a longer period of time.
• If the device is not working correctly, remove the battery and put it back in
after 10 seconds.
• Replace the battery if the LCD light becomes weak or unclear.
• Dispose of the old battery properly.

Power on/off Press button 1 for 2 seconds. Device has automatic power off
after 3 minutes of inactivity.
Mode switch Press button 2 for 2 seconds. Switch between tuner and

Tempo Button 3 increases tempo,
4 decreases tempo.

TUNING
You can tune your instrument using the integrated microphone or the input jack.
Place the tuner’s microphone close to the instrument so you can easily read the
display. Connect your electrically amplified instruments using a 6.3mm (1/4")
jack cable to the input to achieve better results. You can also clamp the included
pickup to the instrument you want to tune and connect it to the input. Play the
note you want to get in tune. The tuner recognizes the note automatically and
shows it in the display. Note: When tuning stringed instruments, make sure the
strings are neither too loose nor too tight.
Observe the display while playing the note you wish to get in tune: if the pitch
needle is left of the middle, the pitch is too low and a “b” will be displayed next
to the note. If the pitch needle is right of the middle, the pitch is too high and a
“#” will be displayed next to the note. Once the right pitch is reached and the
indication needle is in the middle, the display color will turn green.

sent to the seller, sufficient postage is to be paid. The the symbol of the wheel
bin means that the batteries contain heavy metals and harmful chemicals that
may not be disposed of in household or commercial waste. The abbreviations
under the symbol mean: “Cd” (Cadmium), “Pb” (Lead), “Hg” (Mercury)
DISPOSAL ADVICE FOR EEE-ARTICLES
Our customer is obliged to return the EEE-article after its lifespan separately
from the household or commercial waste. EEE-articles can be returned free of
charge after use to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity.
