Modestly priced and easy to install, the
CS-650-W provides good sound wherever
you want it — without making a spectacle of
itself. It suits a broad range of applications
requiring inconspicuous loudspeakers,
from ambient sound in stores, restaurants,
and offices to surround- or even front-
channel duties in stealth home-theater
installations. It also works well for stereo
reproduction in secondary zones of
multiroom music installations.
The direct-radiating CS-650-W takes full
advantage of the latest materials technology
to come as close as possible to the sound
and performance of our horn models,
allowing easy mixing of the two types. Its
6.5-inch polymer-cone woofer has a durable
rubber surround and a large motor
structure for high sensitivity and strong bass
output. A 1-inch polymer-dome tweeter
distributes smooth, clear highs over a wide
area. The tweeter is liquid-cooled for
maximum power handling and reliability.
The CS-650-W’s rugged ABS frame and
powder-coated steel grille ensure long,
trouble-free operation. And the speaker’s
8-ohm impedance is compatible with all
amplifiers. The white frame and grille can be
painted to match the wall.
