KMC’sBACstageprogrammingtool.Thisenablesa
localauthorizedKMCinstallingcontractortoadapt
thestandardlibrarytotheuniquesiteneedsandap-
plicationspecicrequirementsofaparticularproject.
CAUTION
To avoid damage from ground loops and other
communication issues in networked FlexStats,
correct phasing on network and power
connections on ALL the networked controllers
is critically important.

H/C, Fan, Occupancy, and Override
When the fan is commanded to run, the animated
“FAN” icon rotates (if programmed to). When the
fan command stops, the fan icon is motionless.
The “OCC” icon shows a sun when in Occupied
mode and a quarter moon when in Unoccupied
mode.
HEAT or COOL will show (and be animated when
there is an active command to move the room tem-
perature toward the setpoint via mechanical heat-
ing/cooling or an economizer), depending on the
current mode. This can also be turned OFF.
To override these modesfromtheHome(tempera-
turedisplay)screen,presstheLearrowbuon.
PressUporDowntogettothedesiredlineandthen
Enter(twice)toeditthemodeseing.PressLeto
exittoHome.

seingisdisplayedandpressEnter.(IfEnterisnot
pressed,thedisplaywillreturntotheHomescreen
aerabouttensecondsandthenewsetpointvalue
willstillbesaved.)Thenewsetpointwillholduntil
thenextschedulechange.

CO2 Sensor Calibration
TheBAC-13xxxxmodels(withT6613modelsensors)
donothaveacalibrationwithgasoption.Ituses
AutomaticBackgroundLogic,orABCLogic™,apat-
entedself-calibrationtechniquedesignedtobeused
in applications where concentrations will drop to
outside ambient conditions (approximately 400
ppm) at least three times in a 14 day period,typi-
callyduringunoccupiedperiods.WithABCLogic
enabled,thesensorwilltypicallyreachitsoperation-
alaccuracyaer25hoursofcontinuousoperation
ifitwasexposedtoambientreferencelevelsofair
at400±10ppmCO2.Thesensorwillmaintainac-
curacyspecicationswithABCLogicenabled,given
thatitisatleastfourtimesin21daysexposedtothe
referencevalueandthisreferencevalueisthelowest
concentrationtowhichthesensorisexposed.ABC
Logicrequirescontinuousoperationofthesensorfor
periodsofatleast24hours.
TheBAC-14xxxxmodels(withT6615modelsen-
sors)haveacalibration option for applying gas
to the sensorformaintainingmaximumaccuracy.
TheBAC-14xxxxhasadualchannelsensor(aCO2
channelmeasuresgasconcentration,andareference
channelmeasuresthesensorsignalintensity).Self-
calibrationsareperformedapproximatelyevery24
hoursusingthereferencechannel.Duringtheself-
calibrationthesensorPPMreadingisfrozenandwill
notreacttochangingCO2.
Iftheunithasbeeneld-calibratedsinceleavingthe
factory,informationaboutthelastcalibration(date,
elevation,andppmofreferencegas)willbedis-
playedinthelowerpartofthescreen.
TocalibratetheBAC-14xxxxmodels:
1. FollowtheinstructionsintheGE Telaire 2075 (or
equivalent)calibration kitandgas,availablelo-

gas.com,and/orbuycalgas.com)foraachinga
regulatorandtubetoacylinderofreferencegas.
2. OntheFlexStat,turnthehexscrewsinthebot-
tomandtopclockwiseuntiltheyclearthecover.
3. Carefullypullthecoverawayfromthebackplate
(mountingbase).
4. Aachtheadapter plate (with aached power
cable) for the CO2 FlexStatfromtheHTO-1103
FlexStat Firmware Flash Upgrade Kittotheback
ofthecover.
5. Removetheprotectiverubbercapfromthepower
adaptorcable’stwopinsandinsertthepinsinto
the24VACpowersection(Comand~onlower
right)ofthewall-mountedterminalblocks.(Keep
thecaponthepinswhennotinuse.)
6. Removetheprotectivecapsfrombothofthecali-
brationtubesonthebackoftheFlexStatboard.
NOTE: Althoughthecapsarenotrequiredfor

theyprotectagainstinsects,dust,orother
contaminantsfromgeinginsidethetubes.
