ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE – INBETRIEBNAHME
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Produkt unse-
rer Kollektion entschieden haben. Diese Weih-
nachtspyramide ist ein kunsthandwerkliches
Produkt, das wie jeder andere Kunstgegenstand
besonderer Pflege und Rücksichtnahme bedarf.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS – SET-UP
Thank you for choosing a product of our col-
lection. This Christmas pyramid is a handcraft
product that like any other piece of art needs
special care and treatment.

ENTNAHME AUS DER VERPACKUNG
Auf dem Karton befindet sich ein Aufkleber, der
die einzelnen Schritte bildlich darstellt. Das Flü-
gelrad wird aus Gründen der Transportsicherheit
separat verpackt. Öffnen Sie den Karton auf der
Oberseite. Entnehmen Sie die Kreuzverpackung,
in dem das Flügelrad untergebracht ist und
legen Sie diese zur Seite.
Greifen Sie mit einer Hand den Pyramiden-
kopf und ziehen Sie die Pyramide vorsichtig aus
der Schaumstoffplatte, in der die Füße der Pyra-
mide klemmen, heraus. In den Hohlräumen der
Schaumstoffplatte befindet sich der schwebende
Engel. Schieben Sie den Befestigungssteg des
Engels in den dafür vorgesehenen Stift oberhalb
der Mariengruppe. Stecken Sie das Flügelrad auf
die Pyramidennadel und drücken es mit leichtem
Druck bis zum Anschlag nach unten.
UNPACKING
There is a label on the box which illustrates each
step of instruction. The propeller of the pyramid
is packed separately, for reasons of transport
safety. Open the box at the top. Take out the
cross-packaging in which the propeller is packed
and set it aside.
Grasp the top of the pyramid with one hand
and carefully pull the pyramid off the foam
base plate, in which the feet of the pyramid are
clamped. The flying angel is stowed in the cavity
of the foam plate. Slide the mounting bar of the
angel into the provided pin above the group
around Mary. Put the propeller on top of the
long pole in the middle of the pyramid and push
it with a little pressure until it stops going down.
Entnehmen Sie erst jetzt die Transportsicherun-
gen (2 Streifen weiche Wellpappe) und prüfen
Sie, dass sich die Pyramidennadel in der Mitte
der Bohrung der mittleren Baugruppe mit den
drei heiligen Königen befindet. Im Zweifelsfall
greifen Sie die Drehscheibe mit beiden Händen
und fühlen, wie die Achsenspitze in die Mulde
des Lagers rutscht. Leichtes Anblasen des Flü-
gelrades bringt die Drehscheibe in gleichmäßige
Bewegung. Damit ist die Weihnachtspyramide
funktionsbereit.
Please remove the transport securing device
only now (two strips of soft cardboard) and
check if the tip of the axis is located in the cen-
ter of the bore hole of the middle assembly with
the three Magi. You might also grasp the turning
platform with both hands and feel how the tip
of the axis slips into the trough of the bearing.
Slight blowing towards the propeller brings the
turning platform into a uniform motion. Now,
the pyramid is operational and ready to go.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Stecken Sie die Pyramidenkerzen in die Kerzen-
näpfchen. Nach dem Anzünden der Kerzen wird
sich die Pyramide gleichmäßig zu drehen begin-
nen. Die Kerzen sollten gelöscht werden, bevor
die Flamme auf die Höhe der Kerzennäpfchen
bzw. Tropfschalen herunter gebrannt ist. Damit
wird verhindert, dass das Kerzenwachs nach
dem Verfestigen mühsam aus dem Kerzennäpf-
chen herausgeschnitten werden muss.
Die Weihnachtspyramide darf niemals ohne
Aufsicht betrieben werden!
Auch bei sicherstem Lauf können Luftzüge oder
sonstige unvorhergesehenen Einflüsse wie bei
jeder frei brennenden Kerze einen Wohnungs-
brand verursachen. Wir raten dringend davon
ab, farbige, insbesondere rote Kerzen zu
verwenden. Ein roter Wachstropfen hinterlässt
auf Holz irreparable Flecken. Alle Reklamati-
onen, die auf die Verwendung von farbigen
Kerzen zurückzuführen sind, lehnen wir ab. Die
komplette Verpackung ist so aufgebaut, dass sie
zur Aufbewahrung der Pyramide außerhalb der
Saison genutzt werden soll.
Kartonagen nicht entsorgen!
START OF OPERATION
Insert the candles into the candle holders. After
lighting the candles, the pyramid will start
to rotate evenly. The candles should be put
out before the flame has burned down to the
stainless steel sleeves. This way the candle wax
in the sleeves stays solid and can be removed
more easily.
The pyramid should never be operated
without supervision!
Even under the safest conditions, as with any
free-burning candle, air drafts or other unfore-
seen influences can cause a fire. We strongly
advise you not to use any colored, especially red
candles. Red wax drops leave irreparable stains
on wood. We reject all complaints concern-
ing the use of colored candles. The complete
package is designed so that it can be used for
storage of the pyramid out of Christmas season.
Do not dispose of cardboard boxes!
EINLAGERUNG
Das Verpacken der Pyramide erfolgt in um-
gekehrter Reihenfolge wie oben beschrieben.
Auch hier sollte der Aufkleber auf dem Karton
behilflich sein.
STORAGE
The packing of the pyramid should be done in
the reverse order as described above. The
picture label on the box should also be helpful.

die Ausschnitte in der Schaumstoffbodenplatte
einrasten lassen.

Pack up angel into the foam base plate.
Transportsicherungen (2 Wellpappstreifen)
zwischen Bodenplatte und Drehscheibe schie-
ben. Die Drehscheibe wird dadurch angehoben,
so dass die Nadelspitze nicht mehr auf dem
Pyramidenlager aufliegt und durch Erschütte-
rungen weder am Pyramidenlager noch an der
Nadelspitze Beschädigungen entstehen können.
Install transport securing device (2 strips of soft
cardboard) between base plate and turning
platform. That way, the turning platform is
being lifted up and the tip of the needle does
not touch the trough of the bearing anymore. It
cannot be damaged during transportation.
Pull off the propeller while slightly turning.
Grasp the top of the pyramid and let the pyra-
mid frame snap into the clips of the foam base
plate in the box.
Kreuzverpackung auflegen und runden Schaum-
stoffring auf die Pyramidennadel auflegen.

Attach the upper foam board accurately to the
top of the pyramid and attach the foam cylinder
to the pyramid needle. Put the propeller on top.
Karton schließen.
Seal the box.
VERHALTEN BEI AUFTRETENDEN
LAUFSCHWIERIGKEITEN /
REPARATURANLEITUNG
Falls es einmal zu Laufschwierigkeiten kommen
sollte, ist Folgendes zu prüfen:
– Bremsen Fremdkörper oder Verschmutzungen
die Drehscheibe oder das Flügelrad?
– Ist ein Schleifgeräusch hörbar?
– Läuft die Achse frei in der Bohrung der
Plattform, auf der die drei Könige stehen?
– Läuft die Achse frei und ist kein Schleif-
geräusch hörbar, wird die Ursache am Lager
zu suchen sein.
WHAT TO DO IF PYRAMID IS NOT ROTATING
PROPERLY / REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
If there are rotating problems, the following
should be checked:
Is foreign material or dirt slowing down the
turning platform or the propeller?
– Can you hear a rubbing noise?
– Does the axis run freely in the bore hole of
– the platform on which the three Magi are
standing?
– If the axis runs freely and there is no rubbing
sound to hear, the bearing can be the cause
of the problem.

Das Lager ist vom Boden der Pyramide aus leicht
zugänglich, indem man nach dem Abnehmen
des Flügelrades die Pyramide auf den Kopf stellt,
die am Pyramidenboden sichtbare Holzfeder
nach außen schiebt und den Holzzylinder, auf
dem das Lager aufgeklebt ist, heraus nimmt.
The bearing at the bottom of the pyramid is
easily accessible if you remove the propeller and
turn the pyramid upside down. Push the wooden
pen which is visible at the bottom of the
pyramid to the outside and take out the wooden
cylinder which the bearing is glued on.
Befindet sich die Achse dicht am Innenrand
der Bohrung bzw. ist ein Schleifen erkennbar,
verschieben Sie mit leichtem Druck die Königs-
baugruppe und lassen dabei die Drehscheibe
rotieren. Die Pyramide dreht sich wieder normal
und wird abgebremst, wenn Sie den Druck
beenden. Ursache ist ein leichtes Verziehen des
Holzes – ein ganz natürlicher Vorgang. Um die
Pyramidennadel zu zentrieren, entnehmen Sie
wie oben beschrieben das Lager und setzen es
leicht versetzt wieder ein, so dass die Nadelspit-
ze in veränderter Position ihren Drehpunkt in der
Mulde findet.
If the axis is close to the edge of the bore hole
and if there is a rubbing noise audible, move the
assembly of the three Magi with slight pressure
and let the turning platform rotate. The pyramid
will spin normally and slow down again when
you stop pushing. The reason might be a slight
warping of the wood which is a natural process.
In order to center the axis, the pyramid needs
to be readjusted by taking out the bearing as
described above and putting it back in that the
tip of the needle has its turning point in the
middle of the hole again.The upper bearing of
the pyramid is made of transparent acrylic glass
(Plexiglas). If you take a close look at the bear-
ing, you can look into the center column and see
exactly whether the axis rubs against the inside
wall of the column. Adjust the center in the
same direction as you have done it by hand with
one of the adjusting screws until the turning
platform runs free again. Usually one half turn
is enough.
VERSAND EINER PYRAMIDE
Es sind unbedingt folgende Bedingungen
einzuhalten:
– Originalverpackung ist zu verwenden
– Kerzenreste sind zu entfernen
– Transportsicherungen müssen
eingeschoben sein
– Engel muss abgenommen sein
– Pyramide muß wie oben beschrieben
verpackt werden.
Bei Nichteinhaltung einer dieser
Bedingungen erlischt der Garantie-
anspruch.
Wird die Pyramide nicht unter den oben
genannten Bedingungen bei uns eingesandt,
verweigern wir jede Garantieleistung bzw.
stellen die zusätzlichen Reparaturen, die durch
die unsachgemäße Verpackung entstanden sind,
in Rechnung. Sollten Sie nicht mehr im Besitz der
Originalverpackung sein, fordern Sie diese bitte
kostenpflichtig bei uns an.
DELIVERY OF A PYRAMID
It is essential to observe the following condi-
tions:
– Original packaging should be used
– Rest of candles should be removed
– Transport security devices must be installed
– Angel has to be taken off
– Pyramid must be packaged as described
above.
In case of failure to meet any of these re-
quirements the warranty claim is no longer
applicable.
If the pyramid is not returned to us under the
above conditions, we deny any warranty or
charge any additional repairs that were caused
by improper packaging. If you are not in posses-
sion of the original packaging anymore, please
request this to us at additional costs.
REPARATURKOSTEN (exkl. Transportkosten)
Senden Sie die Pyramide zur Reparatur ein,
werden wir den Eingang in Verbindung mit
einem Reparaturkosten-Voranschlag bestätigen.
Die Kosten für die Zusendung einer neuen Ver-
packung (exkl. Versandkosten) betragen 20,- €
inkl. Mwst.
REPAIR COSTS (excluding transportation costs)
If you send in the pyramid for repair, the receipt
will be confirmed in conjunction with an estima-
tion of repair costs. The cost of sending a new
package (excluding shipping costs) are 20,- €
including VAT.
REINIGUNG
Für die Reinigung (Staub) empfehlen wir einen
weichen langhaarigen Pinsel, mit dem Sie vor-
sichtig zwischen die Figuren kommen können.
CLEANING
For cleaning (dust), we recommend a long-
haired soft brush, with which you can carefully
clean between the wooden figures.
GARANTIE
Für die Pyramide übernehmen wir 2 Jahre
Garantie.
GUARANTEE
We take 2-year warranty for the pyramid.
MUSTERSCHUTZ
Die Weihnachtspyramide ist patentrechtlich
geschützt. Jeder Versuch eines kommerziel-
len Nachbaus wird verfolgt und zur Anzeige
gebracht.
DESIGN PROTECTION
The Christmas pyramid is protected by pat-
ent. Any attempt to recreate the pyramid for
commercial purposes will be pursued and
prosecuted.
Die Lagermulde ist zu reinigen und ein Tröpfchen
Mineralöl (Uhrenöl) in die Mulde zu geben.
Clean the trough of the bearing and add a drop
of mineral oil (clock oil) into the trough.
