batteries.

Intended use
RTX901D is a 1-channel transmitter and receiver designed to transmit and receive products from
the KNOP 901 series.
The receiver has audio functions that can be switched on and off and a relay output.
The product has a button to turn off, turn on without sound and turn on with sound.
The external input on either the RJ45 or mini-jack connector can activate the transmitter.
The product can be powered either via the internal batteries (AA alkaline) or via micro-USB or via
the RJ45 connector.
The receiver cannot be used with the MR902/RP902 repeater system, but the transmitter function
can be used.
Adapter cables and power supply are available as accessories –knop.dk.
Check the coverage area
One person activates the product at short intervals, while another person systematically walks
around the area and marks on a sketch the building and the area where there is coverage. The
map is placed in the office so that anyone who needs to use the system can see where there is
coverage. Outside the coverage area, alarms cannot be received.

Alarm call
When the external input is activated, the LED flashes green and briefly lights green when the
transfer is successful or red if the transfer fails.
RTX901D repeats the transmission up to 2 times at 30-second intervals if the transmission fails.
Reception of alarms
When RTX901D receives an alarm from the coded transmitter, the relay is activated for 1 second,
and the LED flashes green, and if the sound is activated, the alarm melody plays for 30 seconds or
until the button is pressed.
Programming
Coding of the product is done in this way:
-Turn off the product.
-Wait a few seconds.
-While the power is on, press and hold the button until both the red and green LEDs flash.
-Activates the desired transmitter.
-RTX901D confirms with an OK sound.

External connection
RTX901D has a transmitter function on the mini-jack and RJ45, a "normally open"
telegram is sent when it is activated.
The modular RJ45 connector contains the relay output, the external input, and the
possibility of external supply.

Battery alarm
The battery is checked regularly and when the batteries need replacing, the red LED flashes
regularly and the product beeps.
When an alarm is sent to an RX901A, B, or C, the display may show "Low battery".
Changing the battery
When replacing the battery, the four screws on the front of the casing are loosened and the
product can be disassembled.
2 x 1.5V AA batteries are used.
REMEMBER to turn the batteries correctly.

Maintenance
RTX901D update
It is possible to update the software of RTX901D. For further description please check the
KNOPtool.
Cleaning
The product can be cleaned with a moist cloth or a wet wipe.
