• Do not repair or modify this product in any way.

• Do not use any corrosives or solvents to clean. To clean wipe surface with water
and a mild detergent.
• Avoid charging this device in temperatures above 40˚C or below 0˚C.
• If the product is not being used for an extended period, please charge it once at
least every three months.
• It is normal for this product to becom hot during use or whilst charging.
• Do not touch grinding wheel after use. It may be hot and cause burns to the skin.

• Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children under the age of
14 years.
• Never operate the nail grinder if it is not working properly or if it has been dropped or
damaged, or if it has come in contact with water. Cease use immediately and

• Always use safety glasses when using the nail grinder. Do not wear loose jewellery
or clothing when in use. Keep long hair pulled back and clear of the appliance.
• Do not allow the animal to lick or touch the nail grinder during use.
• Do not hold the sanding band in one place on the nail or apply excessive pressure
to the nail whilst grinding.
• If your pet expresses distress or discomfort while using, cease use immediately.

Charging
1. Ensure the nail grinder power switch is in the OFF position.
2. Insert the charging plug into the port on the bottom of the nail grinder.
3. Insert the USB plug into a USB AC plug (mobile phone charger).
4. The charging indicator will begin to flash. When the grinder is fully charged the
indicator will stop flashing and stay illuminated.
Nail anatomy
Before you begin trimming your pet’s nails you will need to identify the ‘quick’ in the nail. The
outer nail is hard and contains no nerve ending and protects the soft inner part of the nail
known as the quick.
While grinding, keep checking the nail for a dark spot. This spot is the beginning of the
quick. Once visible stop grinding immediately. Exposure of the quick will result in bleeding.

Grinding pet’s nails
1. Ensure the pet is relaxed and comfortable.
2. Hold the paw firmly and using your thumb, apply light to moderate pressure to the
animal’s pads in order to separate their toes.
3. Select the appropriate port according to your pet’s size and nail characteristics.
4. Place the pet’s nail through one of the holes until it comes into contact with the
grinding wheel.
5. Start gently at the bottom on the nail tip, moving grinder around slowly to the top
of the nail tip. Apply just enough pressure to grind the nail. Work gently back to the
starting point until ground to the desired point, being careful not to work the nail
down to the quick.
6. Once the length and shape are right, polish each nail by moving the grinder in a
circular motion around the tip.

1. Remove the protective cover by rotating it anti-clockwise and pulling upwards.
2. Tu r n t h e nail grinder on.
3. Apply gentle pressure to the grinding wheel using a piece of cloth to remove the
nail powder left on the grinding wheel surface.
