ENGLISH
Introduction:
This HDMI extender uses one piece of CAT5e/6 cable to extend the HDMI signal up to 50 meters
for 1080p. It not only breaks the limitation of the HDMI cable transmission length, but also has more
exibility and convenience in cable construction.
It is equipped with a HDMI connector and is capable of supporting DVI equipment when used with an
HDMI to DVI Adapter, providing greater exibility and options when integrating several home theater
components.
Benets:
• The length of HDMI cable is xed and unchangeable after it is produced. Because the HDMI
connector can only be soldered or terminated by the professional workers in factory, the users
can not reduce or increase the length by themselves. However CAT-5e/6 cables are available
everywhere and can be processed easily by the user or installer.
• Because the header of the long HDMI cable is big, using it must be in hidden method. What’s
more, it is not easy to bend the HDMI cable and to pull it through the in-wall tube or tray. However,
CAT-5e/6 cable has no such problems.
• Using this product, the transmission distance can be up to 50 meters for 1080p using CAT6 cable.
For the general HDMI cables, they must be customized when the length is over 10 meters.

Connection and operation:
• Connect the HDMI input source (such as HD-DVD, PS3, STB ) to the transmitter.
• Connect one piece of CAT-5e/6 cable to both of the output of the transmitter and input of the
receiver.
• Connect the output of receiver to display ( such as HD-LCD, HD-DLP)
• Plug one power supply into the transmitter and the other into the receiver.
Attention: insert / extract cable gently.

Einleitung:
Dieser HDMI-Extender nutzt ein CAT5e/CAT6 Netzwerkkabel, um 1080p Signale an einen bis
zu 50 m entfernten HDTV-Bildschirm zu übetragen. Er überwindet nicht nur die Beschränkungen
der Übertragungsreichweite für HDMI-Kabel, sondern hat auch eine exiblere und bequemere

Vorteile:
• Nachdem ein HDMI-Kabel hergestellt wurde, ist seine Länge nicht veränderbar. Da ein HDMI-
Anschluss nur von Spezialisten im Werk gelötet oder abgeschlossen werden kann, können
Verbraucher die Länge nicht selbst verändern. CAT-5e/6 Kabel sind jedoch überall erhältlich und

• Da der Stecker eines langen HDMI-Kabels recht groß ist, ist ein verstecktes Verlegen nicht ganz

Anschluss und Betrieb:
• Schließen Sie die HDMI-Eingangsquelle (HD-DVD-Player, Digitalempfänger usw.) am Sender an.
• Schließen Sie ein CAT-5e/6 Kabel an Senderausgang und Empfängereingang an.
• Schließen Sie den Empfängerausgang am Bildschirm an (HD-LCD, HD-DLP usw.).

Introduction :
Ce réémetteur HDMI permet de prolonger le câble via un cable CAT5e ou CAT5e/6 d’une longueur
allant jusqu’à 50 m en signal HDTV. Il dépasse la limite de longueur du câble de transmission HDMI,
et offre plus de exibilité et commodité dans la construction du câble.
Il est équipé d’un connecteur HDMI et peut supporter un équipement DVI s’il est utilisé avec un
adaptateur HDMI vers DVI, offrant ainsi plus de exibilité et plus de possibilités lors de l’intégration de
plusieurs composants cinédom.
Avantages :
• La longueur du câble HDMI reste xe et inchangeable une fois construite. Étant donné qu’un
connecteur HDMI n’est soudé et ni que par des professionnels en usine, les utilisateurs ne
peuvent changer sa longueur eux-mêmes. Cependant, les câbles CAT-5e/6 sont disponibles
partout et peuvent être manipulés par un usager normal ou un installateur.
• C’est parce que la tête du câble HDMI est grande, il est préférable de l’utiliser cachée. En plus, il
n’est pas facile de plier un câble HDMI et de le passer à travers des murs par des tubes. Mais les
câbles CAT-5e/6 ne posent pas de tels problèmes.
• L’utilisation de ce produit, permet de couvrir une distance de transmission allant jusqu’à 50 mètres
pour 1080p via des câbles CAT6. Les câbles HDMI doivent être faits sur mesure si leur longueur
dépasse 10 mètres.

Connexion et utilisation :
• Connectez la source HDMI (elle que HD-DVD, PS3, STB) au transmetteur.
• Connectez un câble CAT-5e/6 à la sortie de l’émetteur et à l’entrée du récepteur.
• Connectez la sortie du récepteur à un écran (tel que HD-LCD, HD-DLP).
• Branchez un adaptateur secteur à l’émetteur et un au récepteur.
Attention : Insérez / Retirez les câbles doucement.

Inleiding:
Deze HDMI verlengmodule gebruikt één CAT5e/6 kabel om het HDTV tot vijftig meter te versterken bij
1080p. De verlengmodule doorbreekt niet alleen de kabellengtebegrenzing voor HDMI-doorgifte, maar
is ook exibeler en er kunnen gemakkelijker kabels op aangesloten worden.
De kabel is voorzien van een HDMI-connector en kan DVI-apparatuur ondersteunen wanneer
hij gebruikt wordt met een adapter voor HDMI naar DVI. Dit biedt een grotere exibiliteit en meer
mogelijkheden wanneer meerdere home theater componenten worden geïntegreerd.
Voordelen:
• De HDMI-kabel heeft een vaste en onveranderlijke lengte nadat hij geproduceerd is. Aangezien
de HDMI-connector alleen in de fabriek door vaklieden gesoldeerd of aangesloten kan worden,
kunnen de gebruikers de kabel zelf niet langer of korter maken. Er zijn echter overal CAT-5e/6
kabels verkrijgbaar, die gemakkelijk door de gebruiker of installateur kunnen worden verwerkt.
• Aangezien het uiteinde van de lange HDMI-kabel groot is, moet het verborgen worden tijdens
gebruik. Bovendien is het niet gemakkelijk om de HDMI-kabel te buigen en door de kabelgoot of
doorvoer in de muur te trekken. De CAT-5e/6 kabel heeft dit probleem niet.
• Met dit product kan de transmissieafstand wel 50 meter zijn bij een resolutie van 1080p, met een
CAT6 kabel. Bij gewone HDMI-kabels langer dan 10 meter gaat normaal al kwaliteit verloren.

Aansluiting en bediening:

L’estensore HDMI di CAT5 x usa un cavo CAT5e/6 per estendere il display HDTV no a 50 metri per
1080p. Questo non solo rompe il limite della lunghezza di trasmissione del cavo HDMI, ma ha anche
maggiore essibilità e comodità nella costruzione del cavo.
È dotato di un connettore HDMI ed è in grado di supportare apparecchi DVI quando sono usati con
un Adattatore da HDMI a DVI, fornendo maggiore essibilità e opzioni quando si integrano diversi
componenti home theater.
Beneci:
• La lunghezza del cavo HDMI è ssa e non può essere cambiata una volta che viene prodotto.
Siccome il connettore HDMI può essere saldato o terminato da professionisti in una fabbrica,
gli utenti non possono ridurre o aumentarlo per conto proprio. Comunque i cavi CAT-5e/6 sono
disponibili ovunque e possono essere usati facilmente dall’utente o dall’installatore.
• Siccome la testa di un lungo cavo HDMI è grande, per usarlo bisogna farlo con un metodo
nascosto. Inoltre non è facile piegare un cavo HDMI e tirarlo attraverso un tubo o cassetto che
attraversa la parete. Comunque il cavo CAT5e/6 non ha tali problemi.
• Usando questo prodotto, la distanza di trasmissione può essere no a 50 metri per 1080p usando
il cavo CAT6. Per i normali cavi HDMI, questi devono essere personalizzati quando la lunghezza
supera i 10 metri.

Collegamento e uso:

Este extendedor HDMI por 1xCAT5 usa un cable CAT5e/6 para extender la presentación HDTV hasta
50 metros para 1080p. No sólo rompe la limitación de la transmisión HDMI por cable, sino también
permite más exibilidad y conveniencia para la colocación de cable.
Está equipado con un conector HDMI y es capaz de soportar equipos DVI cuando se usan con
un adaptador HDMI-DVI, proporcionando gran exibilidad y opciones cuando se integran varios
componentes de un Home Theater.
Benecios:
• La longitud de los cables HDMI es ja y no se puede modicar una vez fabricado. Debido a que los
conectores HDMI sólo pueden ser soldados y acabados por profesionales en fábrica, los usuarios
no pueden reducirlos ni alargarlos por su cuenta. Sin embargo, los cables CAT-5e/6 se pueden
encontrar en cualquier lugar y se pueden ajustar a medida por el usuario o por el instalador.
• Ya que el conector de un cable HDMI largo es grande, estos se usan ocultándolos. Además, no
es fácil doblar un cable HDMI ni tirar de él a través de un tubo corrugado por una pared o una
bandeja. Sin embargo, los cables CAT-5e/6 no tienen estos problemas.
• Usando este producto, la distancia de transmisión puede incrementarse hasta los 50 metros para
1080p usando un cable CAT6. Los cables HDMI normales, deben de ser personalizados cuando
su longitud supera los 10 metros.
