Kontax Tensegrity User manual

Please read all the way through the relevent assembly instructions to familiarise yourself with the process before
you start and pay close attention to the alignment of all the parts in the diagrams.
Assembly time for each Tensegrity table should be approximately 15-20 minutes.

Fit two arms into the slots in the
assembly plate. Screw two
assembly plate screws through
the arms into the assembly plate.
Do not tighten too much or you
risk marking the arms.

Fit the central cable into the slots in the ends
of the arms and secure with two short
roundhead screws.
The screws should pass cleanly through the
loops on the ends of the cable and screw
down tight onto the arms. If they feel tight as
you screw them in do not force them. Back
the screws off, reposition the loops and try
again.

Screw two countersunk screws through the
base plate into the arm and tighten.
It might help to have an assistant hold the
plate and arm together while you screw the
screws in.

Peel the backing off the three rubber
feet and fit them over the three dimples
in the bottom of the base plate.

Position the top plate over the arm
with the top surface upwards and
screw two countersunk screws
through the top plate into the arm
and tighten.
Identify the top surface of the top plate, this is the
side with the countersinks on the two holes.

Fit one outer cable loop into any slot in
the top plate and secure with one short
roundhead screw.
The screw should pass cleanly through the
loop on the end of the cable and screw
down tight onto the edge of the top
plate. If it feels tight as you screw it in do
not force it. Back the screw off, reposition
the loop and try again.
Repeat for the other two outer cables.

1. Fit Shuttle
2. Fit Long Roundhead screw
3. Fit Short roundhead screw
Fit one shuttle into a short slot in the base. 1.
Fit one long roundhead screw through the hole in the edge of the 2.
plate and screw it into the shuttle a couple of turns.
Screw one short roundhead screw into the shuttle a couple of turns. 3.
Repeat for the other two shuttles.
