En Precautions
Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.

Power supply
Be sure to turn the power switch to OFF when the unit is not in use.

Setting the volume
1. Press the MODE button to display the Volume setting screen, and
use the jog switch to select the volume from “Volume: Low” to
“Volume: High”.

used when practicing musical instruments.If the device seems too
loud, fasten it to your ear at a position slightly away from the ear hole.
To protect your hearing, avoid using this device for long periods of
time.
Setting the pitch
1. Press the MODE button to display the Pitch setting screen, and use
the jog switch to set the pitch from
“Pitch Low” to “Pitch
High” .
Synchronization
e count timing for two or more GM-1 devices can be sy nchronized.
e GM-1 device that drives the base tempo is called the “source”, and
the other GM-1 devices that will follow that tempo in sync are called
“replicas”.
is device uses infrared communication when syncing with other
devices. Do not use the sync functions around other devices that
use infrared light, or around plasma TVs.

Attaching the device
Open the ear clip, and move the round part on the tip to match the ear
onto which you’ll attach the GM-1. Place the GM-1 on the hollow part
of your ear around the ear hole, and close the ear clip to attach it.
e round part can rotate a maximum of 220
degrees. It will break if you attempt to rotate it
fartherthan this.
As this a small and lightweight device, there is
a risk that small children may place it in their
mouth and ingest it. Keep the device out of
reach and store it away from small children.
Inserting the battery
Make sure that the GM-1 is turned o before replacing the battery.
Make sure to observe the correct polarity.
Turning on the power
1. To turn on the power, hold down the MODE button until the
display lights.
2. To turn o the power, hold down the MODE button until the
display goes dark.
e display will blink if the battery has worn down. When this hap-
pens, replace the battery as soon as possible.
Using this device
Press the MODE button to switch between the setting screens for Tempo
(), Beat ( ), Rhythm ( ), Volume ( ), and Pitch ( )
in that order.
Setting the tempo
1. Press the MODE button to display the Tempo setting screen, and use
the jog switch to set the tempo from
𝅘𝅥 = 30 to 252 min (BPM). Slide
and hold the jog switch to make the tempo continue to change.
Setting the beat and rhythm
1. Press the MODE button to display the Beat or Rhythm setting screens.
2. Use the jog switch to set the beat and rhythm.
Beat:Select a beat from (0 beat) to (9 beat).
Rhythm: Select a rhythm pattern from (Quarter Notes),

Division du temps: Choisissez un réglage entre “ ” (noire), “ ”
(duolet), “ ” (triolet: , , ) et “ ” (quartolet: ,
, ).
Ces réglages sont mémorisés par le métronome. En revanche, seule la
procédure normale de mise hors tension permet leur sauvegarde (en
cas d’épuisement de la pile, par ex., les réglages sont perdus).
Réglage du volume
1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour acher l’écran de réglage de
volume. Réglez le volume avec le commutateur-molette en choisissant
entre “ ” (bas volume) et “ ” (volume élevé).
Le volume de ce métronome est assez élevé pour permettre son utilisa-
tion dans un environnement bruyant (avec un instrument acoustique,
par exemple). Si le volume vous semble trop élevé, décalez légèrement
le métronome du centre de votre conduit auditif.
Pour éviter tout dommage de l’ouïe, n’utilisez pas ce métronome de
façon prolongée.
Réglage de la hauteur
1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour choisir alternativement et dans
cet ordre l’écran des réglages de hauteur (Pitch), puis réglez la hauteur
entre “Pitch Low” et “Pitch High” avec le commutateur-
molette.
Synchronisation
Vous pouvez synchroniser le comptage de plusieurs GM-1. Le GM-1 impri-
mant le tempo de base est ce que nous appelons la “source”, et les autres GM-1
se conformant à ce tempo sont ce que nous désignons par le terme “réplique”.
La synchronisation entre cet appareil et d’autres métronomes se fait via
communication infrarouge. N’utilisez pas les fonctions de
synchronisation à proximité d’autres appareils fonctionnant via
infrarouge, ni près de téléviseurs plasma.
1. Insérez la saillie du GM-1 de source
de synchro dans le renfoncement du
GM-1 utilisé comme réplique, comme
illustré ci-contre.
2. Appuyez sur le Bouton SYNC du
métronome GM-1 maître de synchro.
Quand la synchronisation est exécutée,
le volume s’ache sur l’écran du
métronome de réplique.
Les réglages de tempo, de battements
et de rythme sont remplacés par ceux
de la source.
Mise en sourdine
La fonction de sourdine permet de couper le son du morceau et du métronome.
1. Maintenez enfoncé le bouton SYNC. Pour annuler la fonction de
sourdine, appuyez sur le bouton SYNC.

Fixez l’embout d’écouteur fourni sur
le GM-1.

Mise en place du métronome
Ouvrez l’oreillette et faites pivoter son extrémité arrondie dans le sens
correspondant à l’oreille sur laquelle vous voulez mettre le GM-1 en place.
Mettez le GM-1 en place dans le creux de votre oreille, contre le conduit
auditif , et fermez l’oreillette pour xer le métronome.
Le bout arrondi peut pivoter sur un angle maxi-
mal de 220 degrés. Elle se brisera si vous essayez
de la faire tourner plus.
De par sa petite taille, ce métronome présente un
risque d’ingestion accidentelle pour les enfants en
bas âge. Veillez à toujours garder ce produit hors
de portée des jeunes enfants.
Mise en place de la pile
Veillez à ce que le GM-1 soit désactivé avant de remplacer la pile.
Veillez à respecter la polarité lors de la mise en place de la pile.
Mise sous tension
1. Pour mettre le métronome sous tension, maintenez son bouton MODE
enfoncé jusqu’à ce que l’écran s’illumine.
2. Pour mettre le métronome hors tension, maintenez son bouton MODE.
L’écran clignote quand la pile s’épuise. Dans ce cas, remplacez la pile dès
que possible.
Utilisation du métronome
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour alterner (dans l’ordre) entre les écrans
des réglages de tempo ( ), de battements ( ), de division de temps
(), de volume ( ) et de hauteur ( ).
Réglage du tempo
1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour acher l’écran de réglage de
tempo. Réglez le tempo avec le commutateur-molette sur une valeur
entre 30 et 252 (BPM). Glissez le commutateur-molette et maintenez-le
dans cette position pour changer la valeur de façon continue.
Réglage du nombre de battements et de division du temps
1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour acher l’écran de réglage du
nombre de battements ou de la division du temps.
2. Réglez le nombre de battements et la division du temps avec le commu-
tateur-molette.
Nombre de battements: Choisissez un réglage entre “ ” (0 batte-
ment) et “ ” (9 battements).

Die Einstellungen werden auch beim Ausschalten gespeichert, gehen
jedoch verloren, wenn das Gerät sich unvorhergesehen ausschaltet, weil
z. B. die Batterien erschöp sind.
Lautstärke einstellen
1. Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste, um die Lautstärkeanzeige aufzurufen
und regeln Sie die Lautstärke mit dem Jog-Schalter von (niedrige
Lautstärke) auf (hohe Lautstärke).
Die Gerätelautstärke ist relativ hoch eingestellt, damit es beim Üben
mit Musikinstrumenten verwendet werden kann. Falls Ihnen die
Lautstärke zu hoch erscheint, bringen Sie das Gerät so an, dass der
Lautsprecher nicht direkt in Ihren Gehörgang abstrahlt.
Um Ihr Gehör zu schonen, sollten Sie dieses Gerät nicht über längere
Zeiträume hinweg verwenden.
Einstellen der Tonhöhe
1. Rufen Sie mit der MODE-Taste die Einstellungsanzeige der Tonhöhe
auf und wählen Sie mit dem Jog-Schalter eine Tonhöhe zwischen
(tief) und (hoch) aus.
Synchronisierung
Sie können zwei oder mehrere GM-1 Metronome synchronisieren. Hierbei
gibt ein GM-1 Tempo und Takt vor und wird infolgedessen „Quelle“
genannt – ein oder mehrere nachgeschaltete GM-1, die synchron dieser
Vorgabe folgen, werden „Folger“ genannt.
Diese Synchronisierung erfolgt über Infrarot-Kommunikation.
Vermeiden Sie deshalb die Verwendung der Synchronisierungsfunktio-
nen in der Nähe anderer Infrarot-Geräte (z.B. Fernbedienungen) oder
von Plasmabildschirmen.
1. Schieben Sie die Nase des als Quelle
vorgesehenen GM-1 in die Aussparung
des GM-1, das als Folger dienen soll
(siehe Abbildung).
2. Drücken Sie die SYNC-Taste am als
Quelle vorgesehen GM-1.
Nach erfolgter Synchronisierung erscheint
im Display der Folger die Lautstärke.

Stumm schalten
Sie können Songs und Metronom stumm schalten.

Bringen Sie das beiliegende Ohr-

Befestigen des Geräts
Önen Sie den Ohrenclip und drehen Sie den runden Teil mit dem
Ohrpolster passend zum Ohr, an dem Sie das GM-1 befestigen wollen.
Setzen Sie das GM-1 mit dem Ohrpolster vorm Gehörgang in die
Ohrmuschel ein und schließen Sie den Clip am Ohrläppchen.
Der große Clip kann maximal um 220 Grad dre-
hen. Wenn Sie versuchen, ihn weiter zu drehen,
bricht er ab.
Achtung: Das kleine Gerät kann leicht von Klein-
kindern verschluckt werden. Achten Sie deshalb
darauf, das Gerät nicht in Kinderhände zu geben und bewahren Sie es
an einem sicheren Ort auf.
Batterie einlegen
Achten Sie darauf, das GM-1 auszuschalten, bevor Sie die Batterie ersetzen.
Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polung.
Gerät einschalten
1. Halten Sie zum Einschalten die MODE-Taste gedrückt, bis das Display
aueuchtet.
2. Halten Sie zum Ausschalten die MODE-Taste gedrückt, bis das Display
erlischt.
Das Display blinkt bei erschöpen Batterien. Ersetzen Sie in diesem
Fall die Batterien schnellstmöglich.
Gerät verwenden
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste, um wie folgt zwischen den Einstellungsan-
zeigen für Tempo ( ), Taktart ( ), Rhythmus ( ), Lautstärke
() und Tonhöhe ( ) umzuschalten.
Tempo einstellen
1. Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste, um die Tempoanzeige aufzurufen und
regeln Sie das Tempo mit dem Jog-Schalter auf Werte zwischen 30 bis
252 min (BPM). Halten Sie den Jog-Schalter geschoben, ändert sich das
Tempo kontinuierlich.
Taktart und Rhythmus einstellen:
1. Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste, um die Taktart- oder Rhythmus-Anzeige
aufzurufen.
2. Wählen Sie mit dem Jog-Schalter Taktart und Rhythmus aus.
Taktart: Wählen Sie eine Taktart zwischen (0 Schläge) und
(9 Schläge).

Cómo ajustar el volumen

El volumen de esta unidad se ha congurado para que resulte algo fuerte,
ya que es posible que se utilice mientras se practica con instrumentos
musicales. Si el volumen de la unidad resulta demasiado alto, debe colo-
carse en el oído ligeramente alejado del oricio del conducto auditivo.
Para proteger sus oídos, evite utilizar esta unidad durante largos perio-
dos de tiempo.
Cómo ajustar el tono de anación
1. Pulse el botón MODE para mostrar la pantalla de ajuste de tono de
anación y utilice el selector por pasos para ajustar el tono de anación
desde “tono bajo” hasta “tono alto”.
Sincronización
Se puede sincronizar la medida de tiempo de dos o más unidades GM-1. El
GM-1 que lleva el tempo base se denomina “fuente”, y los restantes GM-1
que siguen ese tempo en sincronización se denominan “réplicas”.
Esta unidad utiliza comunicación por infrarrojos para sincronizarse con
otras unidades. No utilice las funciones de sincronización cerca de otros
dispositivos que utilicen infrarrojos o cerca de televisores de plasma.

Se sobrescribirán el tempo, el compás

a la unidad fuente.
Cómo silenciar la unidad
El sonido de las canciones y el del metrónomo pueden silenciarse.
1. Mantenga pulsado el botón SYNC. Vuelva a pulsar el botón SYNC para
cancelar el silenciamiento.

Colocación de la pila
