Ice and frost layer increase energy
consumption, so do clean the appliance as
soon as the layer is 3-5 mm thick.
If the gasket is damaged or if it turns out
that the sealing is poor, the energy
consumption is substantially higher. To
restore efficiency, replace the gasket.
The condenser on the rear wall should be
always clean, free of dust or any impurities.
Always consider instructions stated in
sections Positioning and Energy Saving
Tips, otherwise the energy consumption is
substantially higher.
Important
If you've bought this appliance to replace an
old one equipped with a lock that cannot be
opened from inside (lock, bolt), make sure
that the lock is broken. This will make it
impossible for the children to lock
themselves in the appliance and suffocate.
Mind to connect the appliance correctly to
the mains supply (see Connection to the
Mains Supply).
Do not touch the cooled surfaces while the
appliance operates, especially not with wet
hands, because the skin might stick to the
cold surfaces.
Do not freeze bottled drinks, especially not
fizzy ones such as mineral water, sparkling
wine, beer, cola etc., because liquid
expands during freezing and the glass bottle
is very likely to blow up.
Never try to eat frozen food (bread, fruit,
vegetables), because you may get
frostbites.
Carefully check the foods for color and
smell and if you are in doubt about their
quality, throw them away because they may
be spoiled and therefore dangerous to eat.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains
before repairing (only a qualified technician
should repair it) and before cleaning.
Do not defrost the appliance with other
electric devices (hair dryer etc.) and never
scrape the ice or frost layer with sharp tools.
Use only enclosed tools or tools
recommended by the manufacturer.
For the sake of environment protection - be
careful not to damage the rear wall of the
appliance (the condenser unit or the tubes -
for example when moving the appliance) or
any part of the refrigerating system inside
the appliance.
The refrigerating system of the appliance is
filled with refrigerant and oil, so when the
appliance is damaged, handle it with care
and dispose it of in compliance with
environmental protecting precautions. (See
We Care for the Environment).
Heating element incorporated in the
appliance, all around the rim, is controlled
by the operation of the compressor and it
prevents the door gasket to freeze on to the
freezer compartment.
When activating the “Super” function, the
red light may turn on. This is normal
condition and there is no need for warning.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or his service
agent or a qualified person in order to avoid
hazard.
The rating plate is in the interior or on the
rear wall of the appliance.
The symbol on the product or on its
packaging indicates that this product
may not be treated as household
waste. Instead it shall be handed over to

Once you open the door, mind to close it as

Every now and then check if the appliance

Storing Time During Power
Supply Interruption
Avoid opening the freezer in case of failure or
power supply interruption! In case the
interruption is extended over longer period of
time, take food out of the freezer and use it,
or make sure it remains well cooled (perhaps
you have an extra appliance).
Disposing of the Worn Out
Appliance
When your appliance finally wears out,
dispose it of. If the appliance has a lock,
break it, in order to prevent eventual
accidents (danger of children get locked
inside the appliance).
The refrigerating system of the appliance is
filled with refrigerant and insulating
substances which should be separately
treated and processed. Call your nearest
authorised service agent or specialised
servicing centre. If you don't find one,
contact your local authorities or your
distributor. Be careful not to damage the
tubes on the rear wall of the appliance
(danger of pollution).
Placing and Installation
Choosing the Right Place
Place the appliance in a dry and regularly
ventilated room. Allowed ambient temperature
depends on the model (class) of the
appliance and is stated on the rating plate of
the appliance.
Never place the appliance near heat emitting
devices (e.g. cooker, radiator, water heater
and similar devices) and do not expose it to
direct sunlight.
The appliance should be positioned at least 3
cm away from the electric or gas cooker and
at least 30 cm away from the oil or coal stove.
If this is not possible, use an appropriate
insulation.
Behind the appliance there should be free
space at least 200 cm² wide and above the
appliance the high kitchen units should be at
least 5 cm away from the appliance in order
to assure adequate ventilation of the
condenser unit.

Placing the Appliance
Place the appliance firmly on a solid base.
Level it with the two adjustable feet, located
on the front.
The appliance with ventilation grid may be
placed close to the wall. The grid enables
sufficient air circulation, required for
adequate ventilation of the rear wall.
Connection to Power Supply
Connect the appliance with the cable and
plug to the power supply socket outlet with a
ground terminal (safety socket).
Required nominal voltage and frequency are
indicated in the rating plate. The connection
to the mains supply and earthing have to be
made according to current standards and
regulations. The appliance resists temporary
voltage tolerance up to -6 to +6 %.

Operation Control
The thermostat control situated in the control
panel regulates the temperature of the freezer
compartment.
Position “Min” –Cold.
Position “Normal” -Colder.normally, setting
at this position.
Position “Max” –Coldest.
The temperature will be affected by:
Room temperature
How often the door is opened
How much food is stored
Position of the appliance
In determining the correct temperature control
setting, all these factors have to be considered
and some experimentation may be necessary.
Do not allow children to tamper with the
controls or play with the product.
Use
Switching On the Empty Freezer
Switch the appliance on and set the
thermostat knob to the position for continuous
operation.
Freezing Fresh Foods
Proper use of the appliance, adequately
packed food, correct temperature and taking
into account hygienic precautions will
substantially influence the quality of freezing
the food or storing of the frozen foodstuffs.
Carefully select food to be frozen: it should be
of adequate quality and suitable for freezing.
Choose correct packaging for each kind of
food and pack it correctly.
The packaging should be air tight and well
sealed without leaking since this could cause
substantial vitamin loss and dehydration.
Foils and bags should be soft enough to
tightly wrap around the food.
Mark packages with following data: kind and
amount of foods and the date of loading.
It is most important that the food is frozen
as quickly as possible. We therefore
recommend the size of the package not to
be too large and to be cooled before loading
into the freezer.

Freezing Procedure
Freezing compartment is used for freezing
foodstuffs (see c hapter "Description of the
Appliance").
xIfy ou want to freeze larger amount of fresh
food, set the thermostatk nob to the p osition
for c ontinuous operation. A fter 24 hours you
canl oad the freezing compartment w ith
packages of freshfoods.
x24 hours after the food was loaded, the
frozen packages canb es tored into baskets
and the freezer canb el oaded with new
packages of freshfoods.D on'tl et the fresh

xSome24 hours after the lastl oad, set the
thermostatk nob to the p osition for normal
operation.

you intend to freeze smaller amount of fresh
foods (1-2 kg).
Storing Frozen Foods
Packages of frozen foods are s tored in baskets.

Storing Commercially Frozen Foods

stored in freezers where the temperature is

Donot buy packages of food wrapped with frost.

Defrosting of Frozen Food
Partially thawed or d efrosted foods should be
used as soon as possible. C old air p reserves

Partial defrosting reduces the nutritional value
of foods, especially of fruits, vegetables and
ready-madem eals.

•Kad vaš ureaj bude dotrajao,
pazite da ne bude na teret okolini.
Obratite se svom najbližem
ovlaštenom zastupniku (vidi
poglavlje odstranjivanje dotrajalog
ureaja).
Savjeti za štednju energije
•Ne otvarajte vrata ureaja preesto,
što je posebno važno kad je toplo i
vlažno vrijeme. Kad otvorite vrata,
zatvorite ih što brže. To je naroito
važno kod uspravnih modela.
•Povremeno provjerite dali se ureaj
dovoljno hladi (nesmetano kruženje
zraka iza ureaja).
•Višu temperaturu podesite samo
kad je to neophodno, i što prije
vratite gumb termostata na nižu
vrijednost (ovisno o koliini
namirnica, sobnoj temperaturi, itd.).
•Nemojte uzalud koristiti mogunost
neprekidnog rada osim kad je to
neophodno, a kad je i koristite,
vratite ureaj u režim normalnog
djelovanja što je prije mogue.
•Namirnice ohladite na sobnu
temperaturu prije slaganja u ureaj.
•Pretjerane naslage leda i inja
takoer poveavaju potrošnju
energije, stoga oistite ureaj im je
njihova debljina 3-5 mm.
•Ošteena brtva ili slabo brtvljenje iz
nekog drugog razloga, bitno
poveava potrošnju energije. Takvu
brtvu pravovremeno zamijenite.
•Kondenzator na stražnjoj strani
ureaja mora uvijek biti oišen,
bez prašine ili druge neistoe.
•Svako nepoštivanje uputa, opisanih
u poglavljima Postavljanje i Savjeti
za štednju energije može prouzroiti
veu potrošnju energije.
Važna upozorenja
•Ako ste kupili ureaj, da bi njime
zamijenili starog, opremljenog
zasunom koji se sa unutarnje strane
ne može otvoriti (brava, matica,
kraun), onesposobite zasun na
starom ureaju prije njegova
odlaganja. Na taj ete nain
sprijeiti da se djeca nesretnim
sluajem zakljuaju u ureaj i da se
uguše.
•Ureaj mora biti ispravno prikljuen
na dovod elektrine energije
(pogledati poglavlje Prikljuenje na
elektrinu mrežu).
•Tijekom rada aparata ne dodirujte
rashladne površine mokrim ili
vlažnim rukama jer može doi do
ozeblina kože.
•Ne zamrzavajte pie u bocama,
naroito ne pjenušava pia, kao što
su mineralna voda, koka-kola,
pjenušavo vino, pivo itd. jer se takve
tekuine prilikom zamrzavanja šire,
te dolazi do pucanja boce.
•Ne jedite zamrznutu hranu (kruh,
voe, povre) jer možete dobiti
unutarnje ozebline.
•Ako utvrdite da hrana ima neprijatan
miris ili sumnjivu boju odmah je
bacite, jer je najvjerojatnije
pokvarena, i stoga opasna za
konzumiranje.
•Ureaj obavezno iskljuite iz
elektrine mreže prije popravka ili
zamjene žarulje (popravke neka
obavlja iskljuivo strunjak).

•Ne odleujte ureaj sa elektrinim
napravama (npr. sušilom za kosu i
sl.) i ne odstranjujte inje, odnosno
led oštrim predmetima, vesamo sa
priloženim pomagalima koja je
odobrio proizvoa.
•Radi zaštite okoliša, pazite da ne
oštetite zadnju stranu ureaja
(kondenzator ili cijevi, npr. prilikom
pomicanja ureaja), odnosno
dijelove rashladnog sistema u
unutrašnjosti ureaja.
•Rashladni sistem ureaja napunjen
je rashladnim sredstvom i uljem,
odnosno mazivom, stoga s
ošteenim ureajem postupajte
oprezno. Ošteeni ureaj odstranite
u skladu s ekološkim sigurnosnim
zahtjevima (pogledati poglavlje
Naša briga za okoliš).
•Grijaugraen u rub kuišta ovisi o
radu kompresora, a sprjeava da se
brtva vrata ne zaledi na rubove
kuišta ureaja.
•Kad je aktivirana funkcija "Super"
možda se dogodi da zasvijetli
crvena signalna lampica. To je
normalno stanje i nema potrebe za
paniku.
•Ako je prikljuni kabel ošteen, mora
ga zamijeniti proizvoaili njegov
ovlašteni serviser, odnosno druga
ovlaštena osoba. Svojevoljna
zamjena kabla, opasna je.
•Natpisna tablica nalazi se u
unutrašnjosti ili vani na stražnjoj
strani ureaja.
Simbol na proizvodu ili na
njegovoj ambalaži oznauje
da s tim proizvodom ne
smijete postupati kao s ostalim
kuanskim otpadom. Umjesto
toga, ureaj je potrebno uruiti
prikladnim zbirnim mjestima za
recikliranje elektrine i
elektronike opreme. Ispravnim
odvoženjem ureaja pridonosite
sprjeavanju negativnih
posljedica na okoliš i zdravlje
ljudi, koje bi se inae mogle
pojaviti u sluaju
neodgovarajueg rukovanja
otpadom ovog proizvoda. Za

uvanje namirnica tijekom nestanka
elektrine energije
U sluaju prekida elektrine energije
ne otvarati zamrzivaki prostor
ureaja! Ukoliko nestanak elektrine
energije potraje duže vrijeme (duže
od 16 sati), namirnice treba izvaditi
iz zamrzivaa i upotrijebiti ih, ili ih
premjestiti u neki drugi ureaj koji
e ih adekvatno hladiti.
Odlaganje dotrajalog ureaja
•Dotrajali ureaj odmah odstranite.
Ako taj ureaj ima bravu ili zasun
odmah ih onesposobite da bi
sprijeili nesreu (djeca bi se mogla
u igri nehotice zakljuati u hladnjak).
•Rashladni sistem ureaja sadrži
rashladno sredstvo i izolacijske
sastojke koji zahtijevaju posebnu
razgradnju. Obratite se najbližem
ovlaštenom serviseru ili
specijaliziranom servisnom centru.

•Ukoliko istog ne naete, obratite se
lokalnim vlastima ili svom trgovcu.
Zbog opasnosti zagaivanja okoliša
pazite da ne oštetite cijevi na
zadnjoj strani ureaja.
Postavljanje i prikljuenje ureaja
Izbor pravog mjesta
Ureaj postavite u suhu i redovito
prozraivanu prostoriju. Dozvoljena
temperatura okoline za ispravan rad
ureaja uvjetovana je izvedbom
(vrstom) ureaja, što je navedeno na
natpisnoj tablici ureaja.
Ne postavljajte ureaj u blizinu
naprava koje isijavaju toplinu, na
primjer štednjaka, radijatora, grijaa
vode i sl., i ne izlažite ga
neposrednim sunevim zrakama.
Ureaj mora biti udaljen najmanje 3
cm od elektrinog ili plinskog
štednjaka, odnosno barem 30 cm od
uljne pei ili štednjaka na tvrda
goriva. Kod manjih razdaljina
potrebno je koristiti odgovarajuu
izolaciju.
Iza ureaja razmak od zida mora biti
približno 200 cm², a gornji element
iznad ureaja mora biti podignut
barem za 5 cm, što omoguuje
zadovoljivo hlaenje kondenzatora.

Postavljanje ureaja
•Ureaj mora biti postavljen na
vrstu i ravnu podlogu.
Vodoravnost ureaja izravnajte
pomou dviju podesivih nožica na
prednjoj strani.
•Ureaj opremljen ventilacijskom
mrežom, možete postaviti bliže
zidu. Mreža osigurava pravilnu
cirkulaciju zraka, potrebnu za
nesmetan i pravilan rad
kondenzatora.
Prikljuenje na elektrinu mrežu
Ureaj prikljuite na elektrinu mrežu
sa prikljunim kablom. Zidna utinica
mora imati uzemljenje (sigurnosna
utinica).
Propisani nazivni napon i frekvencija
navedeni su na natpisnoj tablici
ureaja.

Odmrzavanje zamrznute hrane
Djelomino otopljenu ili odmrznutu
hranu treba potrošiti im prije.
Hladan zrak sauva svježinu hrane,
ali ne uništi mikroorganizme. Oni
se nakon otapanja ponovo
aktiviraju i ponu kvariti hranu.
Djelomino odmrzavanje smanjuje
prehrambenu vrijednost hrane,
pogotovo voa, povra i gotovih
jela.

Promjena smjera otvaranja vrata
Smjer otvaranja vrata možete
promijeniti sa desnog otvaranja (kako
je tvorniki isporuen) na otvaranje s
lijeve, ukoliko vam to zbog
postavljanja ureaja više odgovara.
Upozorenje!
Prije poetka zahvata na promjeni
smjera otvaranja vrata, ureaj ne
smije biti prikljuen na elektrinu
mrežu, stoga izvadite utika
prikljunog kabela iz utinice.

1. Skinite etiri kapice vijaka (11), a
zatim odvijte i vijke (10).
2. Skinite gornju radnu površinu
hladnjaka (9) i dekorativni umetak
(8).
3. Odvijte dva vijka (6) kojima je
privršena gornja šarka (5) na
desnu stranu gornjeg dijela
kuišta.
4. Pažljivo skinite vrata i stavite ih
na neku mekanu površinu, koja ih
nee izgrepsti.
5. Izvadite poklopac (7) i premjestite
ga na otvor na desnoj strani
kuišta. Pritom ga dobro pritisnite
u pripremljeni otvor.
6. Odvijte dva vijka (6) kojima je
donja šarka (2) privršena na
desnu stranu ureaja.
7. Skinite prednju podesivu nožicu s
maticom (4) i premjestite je na
desnu stranu, kao što je to
prikazano na slici.
8. Vrata nataknite na klin koji ulazi u
otvor na donjem dijelu okvira
vrata.
9. Privrstite gornju šarku (5), koju
ste odstranili u toki 3 na lijevu
stranu ureaja. Klin mora ui u
