Disassembly / Reassembly

CAUTION :
Before any action on the pump, shut off the compressed air supply and
depressurize the system.
The pump is manufactured under the ATEX agreement and can not be modified.
KREMLIN REXSON will not be held responsible for any failure to comply with that instruction.
Guards (air motor cover, coupling shields, housings …) have been designed for safe use
of the equipment.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible for bodily injury or failure and / or damage
to property due to removal or partial removal of the guards
VALVE ASSEMBLY (25)
Unscrew the 4 screws (38) and remove the
valves.
Unscrew the 2 screws (37) to remove the
upper body (36), the intermediate body (31)
and the lower body (26).
Unscrew the upper stop (34) to gain access to
the ball (28a), to the spring (33) and to the seat
support (27a).
Push in the middle of the lower stop (30) to
remove the seat support (27b) and the ball
(28b).
Change all the seals (29, 32 and 35).
Clean or change the parts if necessary.
Assembly :
Assemble new seals and lubricate them.
Place the lower stop (30), the ball (28b) and the
seat support (27b) into the intermediate body
(31).
Guide the parts in the axis unti stop in
the intermediate body.
Insert the seat support (27a) until stop into the
upper body (36), then locate the ball (28a) and
the spring (33).
Clean the threading of the upper stop (34) and
of the upper body (36). The threading of the
upper stop must be glued; then, screw it until
threading root.
Important : The play of the ball depends
on the correct assembly of the upper stop
(34).
Mount the lower body (26) into the body (31).
Make sure the fluid inlet-outlet are lined up.

Important : Mount the two screws (37) without tightening them in the lower body (26).
Make sure the parts are correctly lined up, then tighten the 2 screws (37).
Mount the whole on the fluid section. Take care of the 2 seals (32).
Replace the 4 screws (38).Tighten them gradually by screwing in criss-cross manner. Torque screws.

BELLOWS (2)
If material leaks under the base of the air motor, at
the leakage indicators, bellows must be replaced.
Proceed as previously explained when filling valve
is removed.
Remove suction body (1) by means of the 4
fastening screws (6).
The bellows is released when suction body is taken
out.
To reinstall the bellows : fits its lower part (small
diameter) in skirt (3).
Slip bellows on motor rod.
Screw the rod (12) into motor rod after having
installed the seal (4) and the filling valve (5). (The
whole must be slightly glued with Loctite adhesive).
Lock the rod (12) using the motor rod flat.
Insert the suction body after pushing the motor rod
upwards.
Fill the 4 screws (6) and tighen them gradually by
screwing in criss-cross manner. Torque screws (6).
Reinstall the other parts as indicated previously

GT SEALS (7 & 16) AND PISTON (11)
Remove the valves.
Remove the suction chamber (17) by unscrewing
the 6 fastening screws (18).
Remove the lower GT seal (16).
Dismount the piston (11). When disassembling :
- Unscrew nut (14) holding rod (2) thanks to the two
flats located above the nut.
- Remove shutter (13).
- Remove piston pulling it downwards.
Remove cylinder (10).
Take off the upper GT seal (7).
Make sure the new seals (7 & 16) are
installed in the proper direction.
Both seals (8 & 15) must be replaced.
When reassembling, carefully insert piston (11) into
seal (7) which is in the reverse order.
Caution : Before tightening the nut (14),
- Place the rod (12) into piston (11).
- Place the piston (11) into the upper part of the
cylinder (10).
- Tighten the nut (14) holding the rod (12).

FILLING VALVE (5)
Piston removal (11) : refer to § "PISTON".
Unscrew rod (12) from motor rod.
In case of wear, replace valve (5) and seal (4).
Caution !
When reinstalling, rod (12) must be glued into motor rod with Loctite adhesive.
REVERSING BLOCK
Guards (motor cover, coupling shields, connectors,…) have been designed for a
safe use of the equipment.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible for bodily injury or failure and / or
property damage due to destruction, the overshadowing or the partial or total
removal of the guards.
Disassemble cover by removing the 2 CHc screws.
Dissociate female yoke from reversing block lever.
Dismount reversing block by removing screws.
Reinstall the new reversing block in the reverse order of the
disassembly sequence.
CAUTION : The number of spirals must equally be
distributed on each fastening parts in order to get the above
dimension.
31.85 mm ±0.5
When reassembling the different components :
-Clean the parts with the appropriate cleaning solvent.
-Install new seals if necessary, after having lubricated them with PTFE grease.
-Lubricate the piston and the inside of the cylinder to prevent from damaging the seals.
-Install new parts if necessary.
DEGREES OF WEAR
The wetted parts in contact with the material are subject to wear with time. It depends, of course, on the
rates and duration of pump operating; also on the material handled.
Under normal operating and servicing conditions, with standard filled material not including foreign
matters or chemically aggressive, the average working life can be estimated as :
-1 million strokes for the tightness seals.
-10 millions strokes for the bellows.
