1.INSTALLATION
STEP 1
1- Find the perfect location for mounting the range hood. For
best results, the mounting height of the range hood should be
25”- 36” above the top of the cooking range.
2- Trace the outline of your hood on a panel of its cardboard
box.
3- Find the mounting holes and center point of the hood
(directly between the mounting holes) and mark them on the
cardboard panel.
4- Carefully cut out the cardboard outline.
5- Tape the cardboard cutout panel to the wall lining it up with
the horizontal line (bottom of hood location) and matching
the center point with the center line of the installation area.
6- Poke holes through the mounting points on the cardboard
marking the locations on the wall and remove the cardboard.
7- If using wall anchors, pre-drill the mounting holes where
your marks are with the correct size bit and insert the wall
anchors.*
8- Screw in mounting screws to the marked studs and or wall
anchors, leaving roughly a 1/4" gap. This gap will be used to
hang the hood in STEP 3.
1- Place the chimney bracket against the ceiling, matching the
center point of the bracket with the center line of the
installation area.
2- Mark the locations of the bracket holes on the wall and drill
the holes where the locations are marked (The size of drill bit
will depend on the size of hole that the wall anchor calls for).
3- Insert wall anchors in the drilled holes and screw the
bracket into place. The chimney will mount to the bracket.

STEP 3
1- Hang the hood on the mounting screws in place from STEP 1.
Tighten the mounting screws to secure the hood. The bottom
of the hood should match up with the the horizontal line
marked on the wall.
2- Drill holes in the back of the hood lining up with the wall
studs that have been previously marked (Use an appropriate
drill bit for the mounting screws if not included in the hardware
bag).
3- Secure the hood to the wall studs using the screws included
in the hardware bag.
4- Using a Multi-Blower transition adapter (not included) (fig
A), attach the previously installed ductwork to the hood’s
blowers, taping it in place using duct tape or HVAC tape.
5- Power the hood by connecting the three pronged plug to a
nearby electrical outlet or by hardwiring the hood to a power
source (Always consult an electrician before directly wiring a
hood to a power source and make sure all switches are o and
then insert the electrical plug into an outlet.).
STEP 4
1- Remove protective film coating.
2- Place the two pieces of chimney on top of the range hood,
making sure the vent in the upper section is towards the top
and the upper section slides inside the lower section in a
telescoping manner.
3- Attach the top section of the chimney to the mounting
bracket, allowing the bottom section of the chimney to rest
securely on the top of the hood.
4- Affix the base of the decorative chimney to the top of the
hood.

4.1 MAINTENANCE
1) Make sure to pull out the plug and cut o the power before maintenance to ensure your safety.
2) Clean the inside and outside of the range hood with warm water containing neutral detergent, then dry them
with a piece of dry cloth. Do not scrub them with rough materials such as cleansing ball to avoid damages to the
surface. Put on gloves to avoid injuring your hands when cleaning the inside. The cleaning can be done once half a
month to a month.
3) Do not crush the wind wheel when cleaning the inside of the wind track of the wind wheel to avoid the
deformation of the wind wheel. Otherwise the movement will be increased, which will result in more noise and
influence the eect of absorbing the oil-smoke.
4) Frequent cleaning of the filter shall be done. First press the spring on the edge of the filter to dismantle the filter,
dip it into strong detergent and brush its surface with soft brush; then hold the filter with both hands and move it
up and down in the detergent, clean it with clean water, after which dry it by airing and install it as what it is as
before. The cleaning can be done once a week. Do not clean it with combustible detergent such as banana oil and
gasoline.
5) Keep all fans, bae, spaces, filter, grease tunnel, oil container and greaseladen surfaces clean. Grease should not
be allowed to accumulate on fan, bae, spaces, filter, grease tunnel or oil container. Clean grease-laden surfaces
frequently.
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for
special treatment is necessary
4.2 CLEANING TIPS
Stainless steel is one of the easiest materials to keep clean. Ocassional care will help preserve the fine look of your
hood.
Hot water with soap or detergent is all that is usually needed.
Follow all cleaning by rinsing with clear water. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth to avoid water marks.
For discolorations or deposits that persist, use a non-scratching household cleanser or stainless steel polishing
cream, and a soft cloth.
For stubborn cases, use a plastic scouring pad or soft bristle brush together with cleanser and water. Rub lightly in
direction of polishing lines or "grain" of the stainless steel finish. Avoid using too much pressure that may mar the
surface.
Do not allow deposits to ramain for long periods of time.
Do not use ordinary steel wool or steel brushes. Small bits of steel may adhere to the surface causing rust.
Do not allow salt solutions, desinfectants, bleachers or cleaning compounds to remain in contact with stainless
steel for long periods. Many of these compounds contain chemicals that may be harmful. Rinse with water after
exposure and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Painted surfaces should be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent only..

12) The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part
of the range hood, when the range hood is located above a gas appliance. This distance should be at least 25”. If
the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance this must be considered.
13) Regulations concerning the discharge of air must be fulfilled.
14) WarningIf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly
