Mount your antenna
on the MagPole using
the cable ties and use
the Metal Mount Disk
for non-ferrous surfaces
to attach the magnet.
Full MMD instructions
are in the Disk box.
Now power on the repeater by connecting the power
lead to the small white POE converter and plugging
the white LAN Networking cable in to the POE socket.
Press the small grey button and the LEDs will light on
the main unit. Wait 30 seconds for the kit to start up
completely.
Connect your device (laptop, smartphone, tablet
etc), to the repeater
Click the network icon on the right bottom of your
laptop, or search for Wireless Networks – you will find
Wavlink-AC (=5GHz) or Wavlink-N (=2.4GHz)
Click Connect – wait a few seconds……..
Your device is now connected to My-WiFi
Now, connect My-WiFi to the chosen network
Fasten
the main
body
holder
Plug in the
Device
Open a web browser and type http://192.168.10.1 or
http://ap.setup in the browser address box.
This number is the default IP address for My-WiFi.

To proceed past the
Login screen, use
Password ‘admin’
Then, select your
region ie. ‘EU’
Select your Time Zone
ie. ‘England’
Create a password
longer than 6
characters.
Log back in with your
new password.
If you get an error message and cannot connect,
make sure your device is connected to the either the
Wavlink-AC or Wavlink-N networks and try again.
To reset to factory settings, unscrew the lower screw
cover and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. This
will erase all data and restore the device to factory
defaults.

Select Repeater Mode
When the Repeater
Wizard page loads and
will begin scanning.

Select the network you wish to connect to.
Networks with 5GHz and 2.4GHz transmissions will be
shown as above.
Networks requiring a password
to connect, will have a padlock
next to them.
If no padlock,
please go to page 11
Selecting Networks that are secured (with a padlock icon) Select your preferred network then enter the network
password in the box shown below. Then click ‘Connect’.
Wait a few seconds.
My-WiFi will restart and will re-appear in your list of
networks using the site network name with _EXT5G or
_EXT2G added. Use the same password as the site
network to connect your device to My-WiFi.
That’s it! You are extending
and boosting a weak signal
with KUMA My-WiFi.
If you wish to change the SSID names or passwords
these can be found in the ‘Wi-Fi menu’. You can also
reduce the My-WiFi power output using the ‘Wi-Fi
Signal’ option for confined or sensitive areas.

Networks that are NOT secured (NO padlock icon)
If there is no padlock icon you will not require a password
at this stage.
(Once connected to the desired network
you
may
still
require a password to get onto the internet -
see page opposite)
Wait a few seconds.
My-WiFi will restart and will re-appear in your list of
networks using the site network name with _EXT5G or
_EXT2G added. Use the same password as the site network
to connect your device to My-WiFi.
That’s it! You are extending
and boosting a weak signal
with KUMA My-WiFi.
When you open a browser you should be connected
to the internet.
If your campsite or internet connection requires a Username
and Password, a login page should pop up similar to the
one below, or it may be your campsite branded page. Enter
the details your campsite/BT etc gave you and follow the
instructions on the page.
If you wish to change the SSID names or passwords
these can be found in the ‘Wi-Fi menu’. You can also
reduce the My-WiFi power output using the ‘Wi-Fi Signal’
option for confined or sensitive areas.
