The Multigrill
The Multigrill MG 10 is a table grill unit with a non-stick surface coating. This appliance can be used
for broiling and frying (even without oil). The non-stick cooking surface stops broiling and frying
remainders from adhering to it and can be easily cleaned. The cooking temperature is set and
automatically regulated by the temperature control knob. A signal lamp lights to indicate the preheating
process. The appliance serves exclusively for the preparation of meals in the household.

This appliance has been built in compliance with European safety standards and fulfils the EMC
directive 89/336 EEC and the low voltage directive 73/23 EEC.
Safety Precautions
The grill unit must be placed on a steady support (table), do not set on top of a (hot) surface plate.
The power supply cord and the extension cord, if used, must be placed in such a way that no-one
trips over them. Only use an extension cord with an earthed conductor and at least 10 A maximum
admissible current.
Only use this appliance outdoors in dry weather conditions. If it starts to rain, unplug the appliance
from the socket immediately.
Do not operate the appliance unsupervised!
The grill unit becomes hot during operation. Attention: Burn danger!Keep small children away from
appliance.
This appliance may not be operated near heat-sensitive or inflammable objects. Fire hazard!
Never pour cold water on hot cooking surface. This would damage the unit.
There is also the danger that hot water will spray.
The power cord may not come in contact with hot cooking surface.
Do not place any objects that are combustible, can easily ignite or misshapen on the cooking
surface and keep away anything that can begin to melt, e.g. plastics, foil and sugar, from the hot
cooking surface. Do not place aluminium or synthetic material on cooking surfaces.
When hot, the cooking surface may not be used to set objects down on.
Caution: Overheated grease and oil can spontaneously ignite, never extinguish with water!
Avoid having accumulated residue burn repeatedly to the surface. Heed cleaning instructions.
Only an authorised specialist may repair this appliance in accordance with the safety provisions in
force. Unprofessional repair work jeopardises your safety.
Prior to Initial Use
Prior to first preparing food, clean the cooking surface with a soft cloth and subsequently wipe dry with
a lint-free cloth. Remove any stickers that may be attached.
Electrical Connection
The electrical connection is made by plugging the shock-proof plug into a grounded socket. Make sure
that your household’s electrical wattage matches the maximum voltage of the appliance (as indicated
on the type plate).
For operation outdoors, we recommend the addition of a highly sensitive residual current operated
device. This device can be purchased at a hardware supply store or from any electrician.
