ECOSYS is Kyocera’s proven printing technology that eliminates the expense
and waste of conventional cartridge systems. ECOSYS is a breakthrough in
economical, ecological, and system printing.
The drum, developer and fuser of the FS-1020D are designed for 100,000
pages. Due to the fact toner is the only consumable required, the ECOSYS
laser printers can print at extremely low cost per page when compared
against comparable products from other manufacturers. The high capacity
toner cassette for the FS-1020D lasts up to 7,200 A4 pages (at 5% coverage)
delivering a very low cost per print.

By adding the optional network card to the FS-1020D, administrators can
integrate the printer effortlessly into the office network and operate it as a
cost-effective workgroup printer.
The powerful PowerPC 405 processor running at 266MHz processes
information rapidly, preventing bottlenecks and allowing better use of
engine power so the FS-1020D prints at optimum efficiency. The generous
16MB standard memory is more than sufficient to master complex print jobs
– even in duplex mode.

The FS-1020D comes standard with double-sided printing
functionality. It effectively doubles the printable surface area
on every sheet. This enables the organisation to make dramatic
savings on paper costs and archive space. It also creates
opportunities as to how you communicate with customers.

reverse of invoices.
• Forthcoming events, promotions and special offers can be
printed on the reverse side of letters.
• Create double-sided booklets.
Because the FS-1020D duplex feature is fully automatic, all the
user has to do is click the “print” button and carry on with their
work – FS-1020D will do the rest.
Hassle free paper handling
The FS-1020D requires minimal user intervention even with high volume
print jobs such as multiple copies of lengthy reports or end-of-month
invoicing. The FS-1020D has a 250-sheet output tray plus it has a 250-sheet
paper cassette and 50-sheet multipurpose tray as standard.
An additional 250-sheet paper cassette is also available as an option. This
gives users the capability to print 550 sheets without refilling the input
trays. Also, don’t forget the standard duplex feature, which means printing
double the number of pages without a break.

KM-Net Viewer is a network administration
program for PC that allows users to monitor
the status of every Kyocera product on the

KM-Net enables users to view their data
from the PC in the same way they watch
information on a car’s dashboard. They can
monitor the levels of paper in the paper
trays, and check the machine’s printer
settings. KM-Net is a proof that Kyocera is
committed to providing a more efficient
office environment.
Forms Printing
PRESCRIBE IIe, Kyocera’s unique printer
control programming language, offers
major cost saving and productivity
enhancing benefits. It is a convenient
and cost efficient way to manage forms
(even multipart forms) regardless of their
complexity.
To store and retrieve the forms and
frequently printed documents, the only
additional hardware required will be the
CompactFlash® card.
