Grundsätzliches zur Installation der Antenne

Im Lieferumfang der AirLancer Extender O-360-4G befinden sich Materialien für die

Wand- und Mastmontage. Die Antenne ist so zu installieren, dass die Antennenaus-

gänge nach unten zeigen. Die Antenne verfügt über SMA-Konnektoren, über die

LANCOM Indoor-3G/4G-Router angeschlossen werden können. Die Schraubver-

bindungen sollten nicht der Witterung ausgesetzt werden.

ITeile der Antennen sind elektrisch leitend. Direkter Kontakt mit Stromlei-

tungen kann den Tod oder schwere Verletzungen zur Folge haben. Die

Antenne und auch ein Montagemast dürfen nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe

einer Stromleitung angebracht werden. Wenn die Antenne erhöht und/

oder exponiert montiert wurde, oder die Gefahr eines Blitzeinschlages

besteht, so muss sichergestellt werden, dass die Antenne durch einen

Fachbetrieb montiert wird und den aktuellen Standards entsprechend

angemessen geerdet wurde.

Aufstellung auf dem Schreibtisch oder Fensterbrett

Grundsätzlich liefert die Installation im Freien bessere Ergebnisse. Ist dies jedoch

nicht möglich, so kann die Antenne auch in Innenräumen aufgestellt werden. Im

Lieferumfang befindet sich hierfür ein Standfuß. Das Kabel ist hierbei - wie in der

Abbildung gezeigt - durch den Standfuß zu führen, bevor der Standfuß an der

Antenne eingeklickt wird.

Falls die Antenne wieder aus dem Standfuß entfernt werden soll, halten Sie den Fuß

von unten und die Antenne von oben fest. Bewegen Sie den Fuß leicht hin und her,

damit die Bolzen aus den Montagelöchern gleiten. So lässt sich die Antenne leicht

aus dem Standfuß entnehmen.

Wandmontage

Befestigen Sie zuerst - wie abgebildet - den Win-

kel an der Wand mit geeigneten Schrauben.

Schrauben und Dübel sind nicht Bestandteil des

Lieferumfangs.

Befestigen Sie dann wie abgebildet den anderen

Winkel an der Antenne mit den beiliegenden

Schrauben und Unterlegscheiben.

Schließlich wird die Antenne mit ihrem ange-

schraubten Winkel an dem an der Wand befindli-

chen Winkel befestigt.

Geeignete Schrauben und Unterlegscheiben

befinden sich im Lieferumfang. Die Antenne kann

über den Winkel horizontal nach rechts oder links

gedreht werden.

Mastmontage

Mit der beiliegenden U-Schelle kann die AirLancer Extender an Masten mit einem

Durchmesser von 2-5 cm befestigt werden.

Die U-Schelle wird um den Mast gelegt. Das Gegenstück der U-Schelle wird de-

ckungsgleich auf die Löcher der Antennenhalterung gelegt. Die U-Schelle wird nun

durch die Löcher durchgeführt und mit den Unterlegscheiben festgezogen.

Zum richtigen Umgang mit Antennenkabeln

Antennenkabel sind empfindliche HF-Kabel. Bei der Verlegung gilt es daher darauf

zu achten, dass die Kabel möglichst wenig gebogen werden, da sonst Einbußen hin-

sichtlich der Leistungsfähigkeit der Antenne entstehen können. Ebenso sollten die

Antennenkabel nicht zu engen Kabelschlaufen gewickelt werden.

IDie Kabel der Antennen dürfen weder gekürzt noch anderweitig verändert

werden.

Die AirLancer Extender O-360-4G entspricht den Anforderungen der R&TT Direc-

tiven 1995/5/EC sowie den FCC&ARPA NSA Regularien.

Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz

Bitte werfen Sie keinen Elektro- und Elektronikschrott in den Haus-

müll, dort kann er nicht wiederverwertet werden. Stellen Sie sicher,

dass Ihr Elektro- und Elektronikschrott gemäß den aktuell gültigen

Richtlinien Ihres Landes entsorgt wird.

General information for installation

The package content of the AirLancer Extender O-360-4G includes material for wall

and pole mounting. In general, the antenna should be positioned that the connec-

tors point downwards.

IParts of this antenna are an electrical conductor. Contact with power lines

can result in death or serious injury. The antenna and supporting mast must

not be close to any power lines during installation, use or removal. If the

antenna is elevated and at risk from lightning strike it must be ensured that

the antenna is mounted and earthed appropriately by a trained profes-

sional in accordance with the relevant standards.

Desk mounting

Mounting the antenna outside will provide optimum signal strength and data rates.

However, sometimes this is not possible and an indoor installation is the only alter-

native. In this case a desk mount or an installation on the window sill may be a solu-

tion. A desk mount is part of the package content. Just feed the cable as shown in

the drawing below- through the hole of the desk stand. Gently press the base of the

antenna onto the desk stand ensuring that a “click” sound is made when the pegs

are engaged.

If the antenna is to be removed from the desk stand, grip the stand from the bottom

and the antenna from above. Gently move the stand back and forth so that the

mounting screws slide out easily. This makes it easy to remove the antenna from the

stand.

Wall mounting

First fix the mounting bracket to the external wall

using suitable screws and wall plugs (not sup-

plied).

Then fix the mounting bracket to the antenna

using the washers and screws supplied.

Fix the antenna to the wall mounting bracket.

The horizontal orientation of the antenna can be

adjusted.

Mast mounting

You can mast mount your antenna to masts that have a diameter of 2-5 cm.

Please follow the instructions given in the drawing below.

Right handling of antenna cables

Antenna cables can easily be damaged. The cables should not remain bunched or

tightly wound as this may affect performance. Do not coil the antenna cable in tight

loops.

IEnsure that the antenna is used only as supplied the co-axial cables should

not be cut shorter or otherwise modified.

Important information about RF exposure

O-360-4G complies with the European R&TTE Directive 1995/5/EC, FCC &

ARPANSA regulations.

Waste Electronic Equipment Directive

Please ensure that your old waste electricals and electronics are re-

cycled in accordance with the regulations. Please do not throw them

away with your domestic rubbish as they will not be recycled.
