Operate IN THE BOX
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MORE DETAILS.
Hold the chain saw rmly with both hands, with the right hand on the rear handle and the left hand
on the front handle. Thumb and nger must close securely over the handles.
Ensure the chain brake has been released as arrow 1 shows in gure 7.
To switch on, press the lock-off switch with the right thumb and then press the On/Off switch until
the chain saw runs at the fastest speed. Then release the lock-off switch.
Keep the chain saw running and check: if an oil trace can be seen, the chain saw is working
trouble-free; if no oil trace can be seen, clean the oil passages or contact the After Sales Helpline.
Only use the product with a secure stance. Hold the product to the right-hand side of your body.
Never allow any part of your body to be in the chain line while operating a saw.
Ensure the chain oil level is always above the “MIN” mark during operation.

Assemble Prepare
Place the product on a level surface.
Turn the locking knob anti-clockwise to remove the chain cover.
Spread out the saw chain in a loop. Make sure the cutting edges are aligned in a clockwise
direction. Fit the chain around the guide bar ensuring that the direction of the chain is correct as
shown.
Align the guide bar and saw chain assembly with the support bolt and drive sprocket on the
product as shown. Place the guide bar on the suppot bolt and lay the saw chain around the drive
sprocket.

To assemble, hold the guide bar tilted upwards at an angle of approx. 45 degrees in order to be
able to guide the saw chain more easily onto the drive sprocket. It is normal for the saw chain to
sag.
Pre-tension the saw chain by turning the tensioning plate in a clockwise direction. Double check to
make sure the chain is in the groove.
Replace the chain cover in place. Make sure the lug on the cover is rst placed in the notch
provided on the product. Tighten the locking knob with light force only.
1. Pull the chain brake handle up against the front handle to release the chain brake as arrow 1
shows.
2. Loosen the locking knob before adjusting the chain tension.
3. To tighten the saw chain, turn the chain adjustment ring clockwise as arrow 2 shows.
4. To loosen the tension, turn the chain adjustment ring anti-clockwise as arrow 3 shows.
The correct chain tension is achieved when the saw chain can be lifted by approx. 2-4mm from the
guide bar in the centre.
Unscrew and open the oil tank cap and ll up with chain oil. Regularly check the oil level.
Wipe off any spilled oil with a soft cloth and ret the chain oil tank cap.
Align the guide rails with the battery pack, and then insert the battery pack into the guide rails.
Push the battery pack until you hear a “click”.
