Buttons and Functions First Time Use
Battery and Charging
• Please charge your Eltee Pad for at least six hours before the first
use.
• A registration screen will appear when you turn on your Eltee Pad
for the first time. The purpose of registration is to ensure that your
warranty is activated, and that you get notifications for all updates.
• Complete the registration form online with your name and email address,
and press the submit button. You will receive a confirmation email.
• Your child may take a ‘selfie’ using the front camera and upload it as a
profile photo. This can be changed later.
You can charge your Eltee Pad through a mains power supply by using the
USB plug and the USB cable. You can also charge it by connecting the USB
cable to a computer. You may need to use your own USB plug or a converter
if the two-pin plug provided does not work in your country.
• The screen will show a battery sign when Eltee Pad is charging. You
may go into the ‘Settings’ (explained in the next section) to check the
status of the battery.
• Whenever the battery gets below 20% there will be a notification on
the screen, alerting you to charge the battery.
• Allow the battery to fully charge before disconnecting.
• Eltee Pad will go into a sleep mode if not used for five minutes. A quick
tap on the power button will wake it up.
Warning: Young children must not handle any charging cables or power
sockets.

• Power: Press and hold for three seconds to turn on or off.

Audio-out: You may connect headphones or external speakers.
• USB slot: Charge your Eltee Pad using the USB cable provided.

• HDMI slot: You may connect your Eltee Pad to a TV monitor by using
your own HDMI cable, using the converter provided.
• SD card slot: You can insert your own micro SD card to expand the
memory to up to 32GB.
Reset: Pressing the button with a pin will restart the Tablet.

You may access the standard Android settings by clicking ‘More’
on the Home Screen or by swiping down with two fingers.
The settings include:

Eltee Pad includes audio, video and games from all four components of
the A+ Program:
• This section offers a quiz with multiple-choice questions prepared
from the series.
• Your child can attempt the quiz by choosing a particular book or the

• If your child achieves a score of 75% or more, he will get an Award of
Achievement, which can be saved in the album as a screen shot, or

Caring For Your Eltee Pad
There are many other functions/shortcuts provided under the 'More'
option:
Eltee Pad is not a toy; some adult supervision is required.
Avoid keeping it in extreme hot or cold temperatures. Also avoid
exposure to dust and fluids.
Never disassemble it.
Follow the guidelines under ‘Battery and Charging’ above, to maintain
a good battery life.
Keep your Eltee Pad in the case for protection.

Troubleshooting
Contacting Your Distributor
Warranty
If Eltee Pad does not turn on:
• Make sure that you press the power button and hold for at least 3
seconds.
• Ensure that it’s fully charged.
If there’s no display on the screen when Eltee Pad is on:
• Eltee Pad goes into sleep mode if not used for five minutes. Gently
press the power button to wake it up.
• If that doesn’t work, shut it down by pressing the power for three
seconds, then restart.
If there’s no sound while the display is on:
• Check the volume level through the menu screen.
• Try a different activity.
If Eltee Pad hangs/freezes while using:
• Try to reboot by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds.
Once you have established that there is a problem with the Eltee Pad,
please contact your distributor.

• Please ensure you provide the correct phone number and email
address to ensure an efficient service.
• The customer service staff at your distributor’s office will usually
call you within 48 hours. They will go through the problem and
troubleshooting steps with you over the phone.
• If the problem can’t be solved, you will be requested to bring the Eltee
Pad to the office, where it will be fixed or replaced, depending on your
warranty.
• If you do not hear from your distributor within 48 hours, you may send

Your warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase, as per the
following conditions:
There’s no need to register for warranty but please keep your invoice/
receipt as proof of purchase.
You will need to bring/send the product to your distributor at your
cost.
During the warranty period, you will be entitled to free repair or
replacement arising from defects in materials or workmanship of the
product.
The warranty will not apply in the case of damage caused by misuse,
negligence, accident, inflow of any liquid, sand or dirt, or excessive
pressure that deformed or damaged the product.
The warranty will not apply if the product is modified, tampered with
or repaired in any way by a third party.
Note: We guarantee to provide excellent service at the lowest possible
cost, even after the expiry of your warranty!
