Installationand Switching OnTheAppliance
•This applianceisconnecting to 220-240Vor200-230Vand50Hz.Pleasecheck
nameneplate ofapplianceand besurevoltage rangesuitable to yourmainsvoltage.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthe voltageonthe
nameplatecorrespondstothevoltage ofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•Inserttheplugintoasocket with anefficient groundconnection. Ifthesockethasno
ground contactorthe plug doesnotmatch,wesuggestyoutocallanauthorised
electricianforassistance.
•Theplugshouldbeaccessible afterthe applianceispositioned.
•Manufactureris not responsible for failureto completethe
ground connectionasdescribedinthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopenairandshall notbeexposedto therain.
•Placetherefrigeratorfar fromheatsourcesand in awell-
ventilatedposition.The refrigeratorshould be atleast50cm
fromradiators,gasorcoalstovesand5cmfarfromelectrical
stoves.
•Keep thetopfreefor at least15cm.
•Donotplaceheavyand lotsofthingsontheappliance.
•Iftheapplianceisinstallednextto anotherrefrigeratororfreezer,
observeamiminumdistanceof2cm topreventcondensation.

•Fittheplasticwallspacerstothecondenseratthebackofthe
refrigeratorin ordertoprevent leaning tothe wall for good
performance.
•Theappliancemustbestandfirmlyandlevelonthe floorUse
levelling-feet tocompensateforanevenfloor.
•Theoutsideof theapplianceand theaccessoriesinsideshouldbe cleanedwitha
solutionof waterand liquidsoap ;the insideof theappliancewithsodiumbicarbonate
dissolvedinlukewarmwater. Afterdryingreplacealltheaccessories.
BeforeSwitchingOn
•Waitafter3hoursbeforeplugging theapplianceintothepowerto
ensureproperperformance.
•Therecan beanodorwhenyoufirstswitchontheappliance.It will
disappearaftertheappliancestartstocool.

THEVARIOUSFUNCTION AND POSSIBILITIES
ThermostatSetting
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulatestheinside temperatureofthe refrigerator
compartment andfreezercompartment.Byrotatingtheknobfromposition 1.to5.,
coldertemperaturescanbe obtained.
•«0 »position showsthermostatisclosedandnocoolingisavailable.
•Forshort-termstorageoffoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansetthe knob
between minimumand mediumposition.(1-3)
•Forlong-termstorage of food inthefreezercompartment,you can setknopmedium
position.(3-4)
Notethat; theambianttemperature, temperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodandhow
oftenthedoorisopened,affectsthetemperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment.If
required,changethetemperaturesetting.
•When youfirst switch on theappliance, forstartingasuitable cooling,the appliance
should work24hourscontinuouslyuntilitcools downtosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonot openthedoorsooftenand placealotof foodinside theappliance.
•Iftheunitis switchedoff orunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged theunitinordernotto damagethecompressor.
• Larders(coolers)havenot anyfreezercompartmentbutcancoolup to4-6°C.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Disconnectunitfromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
Warning: Do notclean theappliance by
pouringwater.
•The refrigeratorcompartment should be cleaned
periodicallyusingasolutionofbicarbonateofsodaand
lukewarmwater.
•Cleanthe accessoriesseperatelywith soap andwaterDo
notcleantheminthewashingmachine.
Warning: Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsor
soaps.Afterwashing,rinsewithclean waterand
drycarefully.Whenthecleaningoperationshave
beencompletedreconnectthe plugofthe unit
withdryhands.
•Youshouldcleanthecondenserwithbroomatleasttwice
ayearinordertoprovideenergysavingandincrease
theproductivity.
Defrosting
•Defrostingoccursautomatically in refrigeratorcompartmentduringoperation ;the
defrostwateris collectedbythe evaporatingtrayandevoparatesautomatically.
•The evaporatingtrayand the defrost waterdrain hole shouldbe cleanedperiodically
with defrostdrain plug to preventthe waterfromcollectingon the bottomof the
refrigeratorinsteadofflowing out.
•Youcanalsopour ½ glass ofthewatertodrain hole tocleaninside.

Replacing TheLightBulb
Whenreplacingthelight oftherefrigeratorcompartment;
1.Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply,
2.Pressthehookson thesidesofthelightcovertopandremovethelightcover
3.Changethe presentlightbulbwithanewoneofnotmorethan15W.
4.Replacethelightcoverandafterwaiting 5minutesplug theunit.
TRANSPORTATION AND CHANGINGOFINSTALLATION
POSITION
Transportation andChanging ofInstallation Position
•Theoriginalpackagesandfoamedpolystyrene (PS) canbeconcealedifrequired.
•Intransportationthe applianceshouldbe tied with awidestripeorastrongrope.
Theruleswrittenonthecorrugatedboxmustbeappliedwhiletransporting.
•Beforetransportingorchanging old
installationposition,allthemovingobjects
(ie,shelves,crisper…) shouldbe takenout
orfixedwithbandsinordertopreventthe
shake.

BEFORECALLING YOUR AFTERSALES SERVICE
Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworkingproperly,itmaybeaminorproblem, thereforecheckthe
following,beforecallinganelectriciantosavetimeandmoney.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratordoesnot operate;
Check that ;
•Thereisno power,
•Thegeneralswitchin yourhomeisnotdisconnected,
•Thethermostat settingison«0» position,
•Thesocketisnotsufficient. Tocheckthis,plug inanotherappliancethatyou know
whichisworking intothesamesocket.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratorperformspoorly;
Check that ;
•Youhave notoverloaded theappliance,
•Thedoorsareclosedperfectly,
•Thereisnodustonthecondenser,
•Thereisenoughplaceat therearandsidewalls.
Ifthereisnoise;
Thecoolinggaswhichcirculatesintherefrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslightnoise(bubbling
sound)even when thecompressorisnot running.Donotworrythis isquitenormal.If
thesesoundsaredifferentcheckthat;
•Theapplianceis well leveled,
•Nothing istouchingtherear,
•Thestuffsontheappliancearevibrating.
Ifthereis waterinthe lowerpartoftherefrigerator;
Check that ;
Thedrainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(Usedefrostdrainplugtoclean thedrain
hole)
If yourfridge isnotcooling enough;
Yourfridge is designedtooperate intheambienttemperatureintervalsstatedin the
standards,accordingtotheclimateclassstatedintheinformationlabel.Wedonot
recommendoperating yourfridgeoutofstatedtemperaturesvaluelimitsintermsof
coolingeffectiveness.

•Inordertoincreasespaceandimprovethe appearance,the « coolingsection »of

theapplianceis running,thiswallis coveredwithfrostorwaterdrops,accordingto
weatherthe compressorisrunningornot. Donotworry.Thisisquitenormal.The
applianceshould bedefrostedonlyifanexcessively thick layerformson thewall.
•Iftheapplianceis notusedforlongtime(forexampleduringthe summerholidays)set
tethermostatknobto «0 »position.Defrostand cleanthe refrigeratorleavingthe
dooropentopreventtheformation ofmidewandsmell.
