CHAPTER1.BEFORE USINGYOUR FRIDGE

•TheapplianceisdesignedincompliancewiththeEN15502,IEC60335-1/IEC60335-

Warnings
•Donotdefrosttheappliancewithotherelectricaldevices(i.e.hairdryer) oranyarti cial
meansanddo notusesharpmetalobjectstoremovethe iceonthefreezer,asthis
couldcausedamagetothe refrigerant system.

InstallingandOperating your Fridge
Theclimateclassofthis applianceis ClassNwithan ambienttemperaturerangeof+16°C
and+32°C, theapplianceshouldbesited withinthisambientrange.
Theappliancemaynotoperateconsistently(possibilityofdefrosting contentsortemperature
becomingtoowarminthe frozen foodcompartment) ifitissitedforextended periodsoftime
belowthecoldendof theclimateclass temperaturerangeforwhichtheapplianceisdesigned.
Operatingvoltagefor your fridge is 220-240 V at 50Hz.
•Beforeswitching on placetheapplianceinanuprightpositionand waitatleastthree
hourswithoutmovingtheappliance.Thiswillgivetherefrigerantcircuittimetosettle
andoperateef ciently.
•Cleanthe appliancethoroughly,especiallyin theinterior,beforeuse(See Cleaningand
Maintenance).
•Thisappliancemust beearthed.
•Insert the plugintoasocketwhichisappropriate.Thisappliancehasaplugalready
tted - if theplugisnot suitablefor your socket wesuggest thatyoucallanauthorized
electrician forassistance.If theplugisdamagedin anyway-donotattempttouseit.
It must bereplaced withanew plug.
•Donot install theapplianceindirectsunlight, dampor cold conditions(i.e.inagarage
or out house). Donotallow theappliancetobe exposedtorain.
•Placethe applianceawayfromheatsourcesand in awellventilatedposition.The
applianceshouldbeat least50cmfromradiators,gasor coalstoves,and5cmaway
fromelectrical stoves.
•Keepthetopclearbyatleast2cm,anddonotoverloadthetopoftheappliancewith
heavyitems.
•If the applianceis installednexttoanotherrefrigeratororfreezer,observeaminimum
distanceof 2cmtoavoid condensation.
•Fitplastic wallspacerstothecondenseratthebackoftheappliancetopreventthe
applianceleaning againstthe wall.
•Theappliancemuststand rmlyandlevel on the oor.Usethe twofrontlevelingfeetto
leveltheapplianceon the oor.
•Donotallowthecondensertobeblocked.Regularcleaningwill preventabuild up of
dust whichmaydamageyour appliance.Youcan clean the condenser withabrushor
avacuumcleaner.
•The manufacturerisnotresponsible forfailuretocompleteinstallationas
describedinthisguide.

CHAPTER2.HOWTOOPERATETHEAPPLIANCE
ThermostatSetting
Larders(coolers) havenot any freezercompartment but cancool below5°C.
•The thermostatautomaticallyregulatesthe inside temperatureof the refrigerator
compartment.Temperaturesettingsare1to5- with5being the coldest.
•The“ 0“ positionshowsthermostat isclosed and the applianceisswitchedoff.
•Forshort-termstorage offoodinthe refrigeratorcompartment, youcan setthe knob
between minimumand mediumposition. (1-3)
•Forlong-termstorageoffoodin therefrigeratorcompartment, you can settheknobto
themedium-high position. (3-4)
•Notethat;theambienttemperature,thetemperatureoffreshly stored foodandhow
oftenthe doorisopened,affectsthetemperatureinthe refrigeratorcompartment.
If required,adjust the temperaturesetting accordingly.
•When you rstswitch on the appliance,allowitto run 24hourswithoutanyfood inside.
If thisisnot possible, avoidover loading the applianceasmuchaspossible.
•If the unitisswitched off orunplugged,orthere isa powercutyoumustallowatleast5
minutesbeforerestarting in order not todamagethecompressor.

•Therefrigeratorcompartment isused for storing freshfoodforashort periodoftime.
•Donotplacefoodindirectcontactwiththerearwalloftherefrigeratorcompartment.Leave
somespacearound food toallow circulationofair otherwisefrost couldformonfood.
•Donot placehot foodorliquidsintotherefrigerator- alwaysallow themtocool rst.
•Alwaysstorefood inclosed containersor wrapped.
•Toreducehumidityandavoidformationoffrost,neverplaceliquidsinunsealedcontainers
intherefrigerator.
•Meatof alltypes,wrapped in packages, should be placed onthe glassshelfjustabove
thevegetable bin,wheretheairiscolder.Alwayskeepcooked anduncookedmeats
separatetoavoidcrosscontamination.
•Youcanput thefruitsand vegetablesintocrisper without packing.
•Tomaintain ef ciencytrynottoopen the doortoo often,thiswill help tokeep the
temperatureinsidetheapplianceascold aspossible.

Glassshelf withslide damper
Theslide damperabovethe crisperbinsallowsthetemperatureand humidityinthe binsto
beregulated.
•Opening the damper reducesthe temperatureand humidity.
•Closingthedamper increasesthetemperatureand humidity.
Accessories

Defrosting
•Defrostingoccursautomaticallyinrefrigeratorcompartment duringoperation;thedefrost
water iscollectedbytheevaporatingtrayandevoparatesautomatically.
•The evaporatingtrayand thedefrostwaterdrainholeshouldbecleanedperiodicallywith
defrost drainplugtoprevent thewater fromcollecting onthebottomofthe refrigerator
instead of owing out.
•You canalsopour ½glassofthe water todrainhole tocleaninside.
ReplacingtheBulb
Toreplacethebulb infreezer andfridge departments;
1- Unplugyour fridge.
2- Removethe coveroftheboxfromthe clawsusinga
screwdriver.
3- Replacewithabulbofmaximum15 Watts.
4- Installthe cover.
5- Wait for 5minutesbeforere-plugging and bringthe
thermostat toitsoriginalposition.
CHAPTER3.CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE
•Switch off and disconnect the appliancefrom thepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donot pour water intotheappliance.
•Therefrigeratorcompartmentshouldbecleanedperiodicallyusing asolution of
bicarbonateofsoda and lukewarmwater.
•Cleantheaccessoriesseparatelywithsoap and water.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.Afterwashingrinsewithcleanwater
anddrycarefully.Whencleaning operationshavebeen completedreconnecttheplug
ofthe unitwithdryhands.
•Oncecleaning is nished,switchthe appliancebackon.Alwayswaitatleast5minutes
between switching theapplianceoff and onagain.

•Original packageandfoammaybekept for re-transportation(optional).
•You shouldfasten yourfridgewiththickpackage, bandsorstrong cordsandfollow the
instructionsfor transportationonthepackage for re-transportation.
•Removemovableparts(shelves,
accessories,vegetablebinsetc.) orfix
themintothe fridge usingtape during re-
positioning and transportation.
•Carryyour fridge intheupright position.

CHAPTER5.BEFORE CALLING SERVICE
If yourrefrigeratorisnotworking properly,itmaybeaminorproblem,thereforecheckthe
following.
If theappliancedoes not operatecheck that ;
•Thereis not apower failure.
•Themainplugisproperlyplugged in and isnot loose.
•Thefusehasnotblowninthe plug- if soreplaceit.
•Thethermostat settingisnot onposition “ 0“.
•Thesocketisdefective.Tocheckthis,plugin anotherappliancethatyou knowtobe
workingintothesamesocket.
If theapplianceperforms poorlycheckthat ;
•Youhavenot over lled theappliance.
•Thedoorsareclosedproperly.
•Thereis adequateventilation betweentheapplianceandanywalls or units.
•Thecondenser isclear of dustobstruction.
If thereisnoise;
Thecoolinggaswhichcirculatesinthe refrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslightnoise(bubbling
sound) even whenthecompressor isnot running. Donot worrythisisquitenormal. Ifthese
soundsaredifferentchecktoseeif ;
•Theapplianceisinstalled correctlyasdescribedinthe Installation section.
•Theobjectson or inthe appliancearenot vibrating.
If thereiswaterinthe lowerpart of therefrigeratorcheck that ;
Thedrain holefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(Usedefrostdrainplugtoclean the drainhole).
If yourfridgeisnot cooling enough;
Yourfridgeisdesignedtooperateinthe ambienttemperatureintervalsstatedinthestandards,
accordingtotheclimateclass statedintheinformationlabel.Wedonotrecommendoperating
your fridgeoutof statedtemperaturesvalue limitsin termsofcooling effectiveness.
