This product is designed and constructed according
to the principles of the appropriate British Standard
and is intended for normal domestic service.
This unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
If used in an outdoor environment the mains plug
must be housed in a suitable IP enclosure.
Do not use this portable oodlight in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
Do not use the oodlight in any areas where
petrol, paint or other ammable liquids or
ammable fumes may be present.
If the portable oodlight is being used in an
outhouse etc, it should be protected by an ELCB /
30mA RCD.
This portable light should be positioned at least 0.5M
(500mm) away from highly ammable surfaces (e.g.
polystyrene, textiles).
This product comes pre-wired and comes tted with
a 3 pin UK 13 amp plug & suitable fuse. The tting is a
class 1 so should always be earthed.
Do not cover the tting with any materials when in
use.
This product is not intended to be used by children
and persons with sensory, physical and/or mental
impairments that would prevent them from using it
safely.
Small children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with this portable light.
IMPORTANT: Always switch o at the socket before
removing the plug.
The plug is tted with a suitable fuse. When
replacing, use only a suitable fuse approved to
BS1362 and carrying the relevant approval mark.
Never use the plug with the fuse bypassed or
omitted. If the external exible cable of this
luminaire is damaged it shall be exclusively replaced
by a service agent or similar qualied engineer.
USAGE:
The product comes fully assembled and prewired
with 2M of cable and tted with a 3 pin plug. The
head can be adjusted by loosening the bolts, re
tighten with the aid of a spanner once in the correct
position. Insert plug in mains socket and switch on
the light to illuminate.
WARNING:
Arrange the cord away from high trac areas and
where it will not become a trip hazard.
• Do not use the oodlight in any areas where petrol,
paint or other ammable liquids or ammable
fumes may be present.
• Do not use this oodlight in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, shower, swimming pool or
where water is present.
LAMP REPLACEMENT:
This luminaire has a sealed LED lamp and is
maintenance free, no lamp replacement is required.
