1 Introduction
Ce manuel contient les informations concernant l’utilisation des coffrets de batteries externes
conçues pour les onduleurs Keor LP 1000,2000,3000 kVA.
Lire attentivement les cosignes de sécurité que vous trouvez dans l’emballage et respecter les
instructions contenues dans ce livret avant de procéder à l’installation des coffrets.
En cas de problème il est recommandé de lire le présent manuel avant de contacter le service
d’assistance technique.
Assurez-vous de télécharger la dernière version du manuel depuis le site web www.ups.legrand.com
• Le coffret de batterie est fourni avec une prise d'entrée et peut être raccordé en toute sécurité à
la prise murale par l'utilisateur.
• Le coffret de batterie est connecté à un onduleur. Il y aura tension aux bornes de sortie si
l'onduleur est en marche, même si l'entrée alimentation secteur n'est pas disponible.
• Assurez-vous que la prise d’alimentation soit correctement reliée à la terre.
• Aucune pièce ne doit être remplacée ou dépannée par l’utilisateur. Contactez votre fournisseur
local ou votre garantie sera annulée.
• Utilisez un câble d'alimentation d'entrée certifié avec les fiches et prises correctes pour la tension
du système.
• Maintenir toujours propres les fentes d’aération et ne pas les obstruer afin de permettre la
dissipation de la chaleur interne. Ne posez rien sur le coffret. Gardez le panneau arrière du
coffret à 20 cm du mur ou d'autres obstacles.

• Assurez-vous que l’environnement dans lequel est installé le coffret corresponde aux critères de
température et d'humidité demandés ( 0-40°C et 30-90% humidité sans condensation).
• Éviter d’exposer le coffret directement à la lumière du soleil ou à proximité d'une source de
chaleur.
• Les coffrets Keor LP ont été conçus pour fonctionner dans un environnement fermé.
• Ce produit n'est pas conçu pour fonctionner dans un environnement poussiéreux, corrosif et salé.
• Ne pas verser de liquide sur ou dans l’UPS.
• Ne pas introduire délibérément ou accidentellement des objets étrangers dans le compartiment
de batterie.
• La batterie se décharge naturellement si le système n'est pas utilisé pendant une période
prolongée. Dans ce cas le coffret batterie doit être rechargée tous les 2-3 mois. Pendant le
fonctionnement normal, les batteries se rechargent automatiquement.
ATTENTION
Le service de remplacement des batteries doit être effectué ou supervisé par des techniciens
qualifiés, bien formé sur les batteries et les précautions à prendre. Lors du remplacement des
batteries, remplacez-les avec le même type et nombre de batteries incluses dans l'onduleur.
ATTENTION
Ne pas jeter les batteries au feu. Celles-ci peuvent exploser.
ATTENTION
Ne pas ouvrir ni mutiler les batteries. L'électrolyte des batteries est toxique et dangereux
pour la peau et les yeux.

2 Condition of use
ATTENTION
Risk of Electric Shock the Battery Circuit is not isolated from AC, hazardous Voltage may exist
between battery terminals and ground. Test before touching with bare hands.
ATTENTION
Une batterie peut présenter un risque de choc électrique et de courant de court circuit
élevé. Les précautions suivantes doivent être respectées lors de travaux sur les batteries:
A. Enlevez montres, bagues et/ou tout autre objet métallique.
B. Utilisez des outils avec des poignées isolées.
C. Porter des gants et des chaussures en gomme.
D. Ne pas poser d'outils ou de pièces métalliques sur les batteries.
E. Déconnectez la source de chargement avant de connecter ou déconnecter les bornes de
la batterie.
Stockage
Si votre onduleur n’est pas utilisé pour une période prolongée assurez le stockage dans un climat modéré.
Les batteries doivent être charges pendent 12 heures tous les 2 mois en alimentant l’onduleur
et en fermant l’interrupteur d’entrée. Répétez cette procédure tous les 2 mois si la température
ambiante est supérieure à 25°C.

position « O ». Si le coret est connecté à un autre coret de batterie
la tension continu sera transféré sans interruption au deuxième
coret à travers le connecteur UPS BAT +/-

Note: L'état de l'emballage et l'aspect extérieure du coffret doivent être soigneusement inspectés
avant l'installation. Conservez l'emballage pour une utilisation ultérieure.
Déballage
1. Ouvrez le carton.
2. Retirez les matériaux d'emballage.
Note: Le coffret de batterie pèse environ 39 kg. Pour éviter toute blessures, soyez prudent lors
du déballage et du déplacement de l'unité.

1 Introduction
®
This manual contains information for users of the Keor LP battery banks designed for the Keor LP
1,2,3 kVA UPS models.
You are advised to read carefully this handbook and the safety instruction sheet included in
the packaging before installing your uninterruptible power supply, meticulously following the
instructions given herein.
In case of problems with the UPS, please read this manual before contacting technical support;
Please download the latest version of the manual from the web site www.ups.legrand.com.
• The battery bank is supplied with a factory input plug and can be safely connected to the wall
receptacle by the user.
• This battery bank is connected to an UPS. There will be voltage at the output terminals if the UPS
is turned on even if the input AC Mains is not available.
• Make sure that the AC Utility outlet is correctly grounded.
• Do not try to repair the unit by yourself, contact your local supplier or your warranty will be void.
• Use a certified input power cable with the correct plugs and sockets for the appropriate voltage
system.
• To eliminate any overheating of the battery bank, keep all ventilation openings free from
obstruction and do not place any foreign objects on top of the battery bank. Keep the battery
bank 20 cm away from the wall.

• Make sure the battery bank is installed within the proper environment as specified. (0-40°C and
30-90% non-condensing humidity)
• Do not install the battery bank under direct sunlight. Your warranty will be void if the batteries
fail due to overheating.
• This battery bank is designed for indoor use only.
• This battery bank is not designed for use in dusty, corrosive and salty environment .
• The warranty for this battery bank will be void if water or other liquid is spilt or poured directly
onto the battery bank. Similarly we do not warrant any damage to the battery bank if foreign
objects are deliberately or accidentally inserted into the battery bank enclosure.
• The battery will discharge naturally if the system is unused for a period of time.
• It should be recharged every 2-3 months if unused. During normal operation, the batteries will
be automatically remained in charged condition.
• When Replacing Batteries, Replace With the Same Quantity, Type & Capacity.
CAUTION
Servicing of Batteries Should be Performed or Supervised by Trained Personnel with
Knowledge of Batteries and the Required Precautions
CAUTION
Do Not Dispose of Battery or Batteries in an open fire. The Battery May Explode.
CAUTION
Do not open or mutilate the batteries. The electrolyte from the batteries is toxic and harmful
to the skin and eyes.

2 Condition of use
CAUTION

CAUTION
A Battery can present a Risk of Electrical Shock and High Short Circuit Current. The Following
Precaution Should be Observed When Working on Batteries:
A. Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
B. Use tools with insulated handles.
C. Wear rubber gloves and boots.
D. Do not lay tools or metal parts on top of batteries.
E. Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting battery terminals.
Storage Instruction
For extended storage through moderate climate(-15 to +30 °C / +5 to +86 °F), the batteries should
be charged for 12 hours every 6 months by plugging the UPS power cord into the wall receptacle.
Repeat this every 3 months under high temperature (+30 to +45 °C / +86 to +113 °F) environment.

2. To easy swappable battery, please put the position of the breaker in
“O”position. In case there is 2nd(or next) battery bank connected
with the battery bank, the DC voltage from the UPS Bat.+/- will ow
through without any interruption to the 2nd Battery Bank.

Note: The packing condition and the external outlook of the unit should be inspected carefully
before installation. Retain the packing material for future use.
Unpacking
1. Take the battery bank out of the PE foam.
2. Remove the packing materials.
Note: The battery bank module is approx. 39kg, be cautious when unpacking and lifting the
unit to avoid injury.

1 Introduzione
Il presente manuale contiene le informazioni riguardanti l’utilizzo degli armadi batterie esterni
progettati per i gruppi di continuità Keor LP 1000, 2000, 3000 kVA.
Prima di procedere all’installazione degli armadi batterie leggere attentamente le indicazioni
riguardanti la sicurezza che si trovano nella confezione e rispettare scrupolosamente le indicazioni
riportate nel manuale.
In caso di problemi si consiglia di consultare il presente manuale prima di rivolgersi al servizio di
assistenza tecnica. Accertatevi di disporre della versione aggiornata del manuale scaricandola dal
sito web www.ups.legrand.com.
• L’armadio batterie è fornito con una presa d’ingresso e può essere allacciato in totale sicurezza
alla presa a muro dall’utilizzatore.
• L’armadio batterie è collegato ad un UPS. Si avrà tensione ai morsetti di uscita se l’UPS è in
funzione, anche se l’ingresso di alimentazione rete non è disponibile.
• Accertatevi che la presa di alimentazione sia correttamente collegata alla terra.
• L’utilizzatore non è autorizzato a sostituire o riparare nessun componente. Contattate il vostro
fornitore locale, in caso contrario la vostra garanzia sarà annullata.
• Utilizzare un cavo di alimentazione d’entrata certificato, spine e prese devono essere idonee alla
tensione del sistema.
• Mantenere le feritoie d’areazione sempre pulite e non ostruite per permettere la dissipazione del
calore interno. Non appoggiate alcun oggetto sull’armadio. Il pannello posteriore dell’armadio
deve essere ad una distanza di almeno 20 cm dal muro o da altri ostacoli.
