Whenever you are changing plates or knives in the grinder, doing any maintenance on the grinder, cleaning the grinder, or
the grinder is not being used be sure that the foot switch is disconnected from the electric supply and the switch on the
grinder is in the“OFF”position.
If the grinder switch is“ON”and the foot pedal is bumped or depressed, serious injury may occur.
To Install Switch: Be sure the switch on the grinder is in the“OFF”position. Plug the power cord on the grinder into the
back of the plug on the foot pedal. Now insert the plug of the foot pedal into a 110V. electric outlet. Turn the switch on the
grinder to the“ON”position.The grinder will not operate until the foot pedal is depressed with your
foot.To stop the grinder, release the pressure on the foot pedal by raising your foot.
The S100-Series foot switches make it easy to turn electrical equipment on and o with the foot, freeing the hands to
perform other operations or providing ergonomic improvement to a workstation.The simple momentary action occurs by
pressing down on the front of the switch; an internal spring will return the switch to the“o”position upon release. Ideal
for light-duty industrial, medical, dental, and oce equipment.
