Systems wurden vor Auslieferung einem intensiven Test unterzogen.
Lenz Elektronik GmbH garantiert für einen fehlerfreien Betrieb, wenn
Sie die folgenden Hinweise beachten:
Die Komponenten des SET90 / SET100 dürfen nur mit anderen
Komponenten des
Digital plus by Lenz
®
Systems zusammen
verwendet werden. Eine andere Verwendung, als die in den
Betriebsanleitungen dieser Komponenten beschriebene, ist nicht
zulässig und führt zu Verlust der Gewährleistung. Verwenden Sie die
im SET90 / SET100 enthaltenen Geräte nur entsprechend den in den
Betriebsanleitungen gemachten Angaben.
Wenn Sie bei Problemen mit uns Kontakt aufnehmen möchten, sollten
Sie uns neben der Problembeschreibung folgende Informationen
mitteilen:
•Versions- und Servicenummer des Handreglers LH90 / LH100
•Versions- und Servicenummer der LZV100
•Bezeichnung, Versions- und Servicenummer der weiteren
Komponenten mit denen das Problem auftritt.

2 Funktionsumfang des SET90 / SET100
Mit dem SET90 / SET100 können Sie:
•bis zu 9999 Digitalloks und
•eine konventionelle Lok steuern,
•bis zu 28 Funktionen in Lokdecodern schalten,
•Funktionen in Lokdecodern auf Dauer- oder Momentbetrieb
einstellen,
•Fahrstufenmodus zu den Lokadressen einstellen,
•Mehrfach- und Doppeltraktionen zusammenstellen, steuern und
wieder auflösen,
•Programmieren während des Betriebs,
•Programmieren auf dem Programmiergleis,
•Bis zu 1024 Weichen und andere Magnetartikel schalten,
•Rückmeldungen abfragen und anzeigen (bei SET90 nur durch
Verwendung eines LH100 oder LI101F / USB-Interface),
•konstante Zugbeleuchtung nutzen,
•bis zu 30 weitere Bediengeräte anschließen,
und vieles mehr.

4 Anschluß und Inbetriebnahme
Die Anschlüsse an der LZV100 sind als steckbare Schraubklemmen
ausgeführt.
4.1 Anschluß der LZV100 an die Gleise
Verbinden Sie die Klemmen J und K der
LZV100 mit dem Anschlußgleis Ihrer
Modellbahn:

Mittelleiter
Es dürfen keine Kondensatoren zur Funkentstörung in der
Gleisanlage eingebaut sein. Diese Kondensatoren sind nur beim
konventionellen Betrieb zur Funkentstörung notwendig. Beim
Digital plus System verfälschen sie jedoch das Datenformat und die
einwandfreie Datenübertragung wird beeinträchtigt.

4.2 Anschluß des Handreglers LH90 / LH100 an die
LZV100

Stecken Sie die Seite des
Spiralkabels mit dem
Westernstecker (der kleine
Stecker aus transparentem
Plastik) in die Buchse am LH90.
Den 5-poligen DIN-Stecker des Anschlusskabels stecken Sie in die 5-
polige DIN-Buchse an der Rückseite Ihrer LZV100:
4.3 Anschluß der LZV100 an den Transformator
Verbinden Sie die Klemmen U und V der LZV100 mit den
Anschlussklemmen des Transformators TR100 (oder TR200)
Die Anschlüsse U,V zur Stromversorgung der LZV100

5 Inbetriebnahme
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Transformators in die Steckdose.
Wir gehen im Folgenden davon aus, dass Sie eine Lok mit der
Adresse 3 einsetzen. Stellen Sie die Lokomotive mit eingebautem
Decoder auf die Gleise Ihrer Modellbahn.
5.1 Erste Fahrt – SET100
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme
wird die werkseitig eingestellte
Lokadresse 0003 im Display
angezeigt.
Die Geschwindigkeit und Fahrtrichtung der Lokomotive steuern Sie
mit den folgenden Fahrtasten:

Mit dieser Taste vermindern
Sie die Fahrstufe um 1, die
Lok wird langsamer.
Mit dieser Taste erhöhen Sie
die Fahrstufe um 1, die Lok
wird schneller. Das Display
wechselt automatisch von der
Anzeige der Lokadresse zur
Anzeige der Fahrstufe.
Wenn Sie diese Taste
drücken und gedrückt halten,
so wird die Fahrstufe
automatisch bis zur Fahrstufe
0 nach unten gezählt.
Auch diese Taste erhöht die
Fahrstufe. Wenn Sie die
Taste drücken und gedrückt
halten, so wird die Fahrstufe
automatisch bis zur
maximalen Fahrstufe nach
oben gezählt.
Bei Änderung der Fahrstufe wechselt das Display automatisch von
der Adressanzeige zur Anzeige der Fahrstufen. Ist die Fahrstufe 0
erreicht, wird immer die Adresse angezeigt.
Wenn Sie die Fahrtrichtung Ihrer Lokomotive ändern wollen, stellen
Sie die Fahrstufe auf 0 und drücken auf die sechseckige Taste. Die
neue Fahrtrichtung wird im Display angezeigt.
Mit der Taste 0 können Sie die Beleuchtung Ihrer Digitallok - wenn
angeschlossen - ein- und ausschalten. Im Display des LH100 wird
dies durch das Lampensymbol angezeigt.

5.2 Erste Fahrt – SET90
Drücken Sie die Taste "A" so oft, bis die Adresse "0003" im
Display angezeigt wird.
Stellen Sie den Richtungsschalter am LH90 nach oben.
Drehen Sie den
Drehknopf nach
rechts, wird die Lok
schneller.
Drehen Sie den
Drehknopf nach
links, wird Lok
langsamer
Bringen Sie den Knopf an den linken Anschlag: Die Lok bleibt stehen.
Schalten Sie den Richtungsschalter über die Mittelposition
hinweg nach unten. Hierdurch ändern Sie die Fahrtrichtung
der Lok von vorwärts nach rückwärts.
Wenn Sie den Richtungsschalter in die Mittelposition bringen,
so hält die Lok mit der im Lokdecoder eingestellten
Bremsverzögerung an. Wenn Sie den Schalter anschließend
in die andere Richtung stellen, so beschleunigt die Lok wieder
mit der eingestellten Beschleunigung in die andere
Fahrtrichtung.
Zum Einschalten der Lichtfunktion des Lokdecoders drücken
Sie die Taste "0M". Der erste Druck schaltet das Licht ein, der
nächste wieder aus.
Mit dieser Taste lösen Sie einen Nothalt aus, die Lok bleibt
sofort stehen.

advice given below:
The components of the SET90 / SET100 are authorised for operation
only with other components of the
Digital plus by Lenz
®
system. Any
use other than the one described in these operating manuals is not
permitted and all guarantees become invalid if the SET90 / SET100 is
used in an inappropriate way. Only use the devices contained in the
SET90 / SET100 in accordance with the information given in the
operating manuals.
If you have any problems, just contact us, stating the following
information together with a description of the problem:
•Version and service number of the manual control LH90 / LH100.
•Version and service number of the LZV100.
•Designation, version and service number of other components
with which you experience the same problem.

2 Range of functions of the SET90 / SET100
With the SET90 / SET100 you may:
•control up to 9999 digital locomotives and
•1 conventional locomotive
•switch up to 28 functions in locomotive decoders
•set functions in locomotive decoders to continuous or
instantaneous operation
•set the running notches mode to the locomotive addresses
•assemble, control and delete multiple and double tractions
•program in operational mode
•program on the programming track
•switch up to 1024 points and other magnetic articles
•query and display feedbacks (for SET90 only if using a LH100 or
LI101F / USB-Interface)
•use constant train lighting
•connect up to 30 other operating devices

4 Connection and initial operation
All the LZV100 connections are designed as pluggable terminal
screws.
4.1 Connecting the LZV100 to the tracks
Connect terminals J and K of the LZV100 to
the siding track of your model railway:
Connection: 2-wire tracks
The LZV100 track connection

neutral wire
No radio interference suppression capacitors may be installed in the
track system. These capacitors are necessary only for the
interference suppression in conventional operation. If used with the
Digital plus system, however, they would only distort the data format
and interfere with the fault-free transmission of data.

4.2 Connecting the manual control LH90 / LH100 to
the LZV100
LH100 LH90
Plug one end of the coiled cable
with the Western-plug (the small
connector made of see-through
plastic) into the socket of the
LH90.
Plug the 5-pole DIN-plug of the connecting cable into the 5-pole DIN-
plug at the rear of your LZV100:
4.3 Connecting the LZV100 to the transformer
Connect terminals U and V of the LZV100 to the connecting terminals
of the transformer TR100 (or TR200)
Connections U,V to the power supply of the LZV100

5 Initial operation
Plug the mains plug of the transformer into the mains plug socket.
We assume in this example that you are operating a locomotive with
the address 3. Place the locomotive with an installed decoder on the
tracks of your model railway system.
5.1 First run – SET100
During the first run, the
locomotive address 0003 (factory
setting) will be shown on the
display.
Use the following control keys to control both speed and direction of
motion:

Use this key to decrease the
running notch by 1; the
locomotive slows down.
Use this key to increase the
running notch by 1; the
locomotive speeds up. The
display changes automatically
from showing the locomotive
address to showing the
running notch.
Press the key and keep it
pressed: the running notch
keeps decreasing until 0.
This key also increases the
running notch. Press the key
and keep it pressed: the
running notch automatically
increases until the maximum
running notch is reached.
When the running notch is altered, the display changes automatically
from showing the address to showing the running notch. When
running notch 0 is reached, the address will be shown continuously.
If you want to alter your locomotive’s direction of motion, set the
running notch to 0 and press the hexagonal key. The new direction of
motion is shown on the display.
Use key 0 to switch your digital locomotive’s lighting – if connected -
on and off. This will be indicated by a lamp symbol shown on the
LH100’s display.

5.2 First run – SET90
Press the key "A" repeatedly until address “0003” is shown in
the display.
Set the direction switch of the LH90 to the up position.
Turn the rotary
control-knob to the
right. The locomotive
speeds up.
Turn the rotary
control-knob to
the left. The
locomotive slows
down.
Turn the knob as far to the left as possible: the locomotive stops.
Flick the direction-switch downwards through the centre
position. This will change the direction of motion of the
locomotive from forwards to backwards.
If you flick the direction-switch to the centre position, the
locomotive will stop with the amount of delay in braking which
is set in the locomotive decoder. If you afterwards flick the
switch in a different direction, the locomotive will speed up
again, also with the amount of delay that is set in the decoder.
In order to switch on the light function of the locomotive
decoder, press key "0M". Press the key once and you will turn
the light on, press it again and you will turn it off.
With this key you trigger an emergency stop, the locomotive
stops immediately.

2 Fonctionnalité du SET90 / SET100
Avec le SET90 / SET100, vous pouvez :
•piloter jusqu'à 9999 locomotives digitales et
•une locomotive conventionnelle ;
•commuter jusqu'à 28 fonctions dans les décodeurs de
locomotive ;
•régler dans le décodeur de locomotive les fonctions sur
fonctionnement permanent ou momentané ;
•régler le mode de marche par crans de vitesse pour chaque
adresse de locomotive ;
•assembler, piloter et désassembler des doubles tractions et
multitractions ;
•programmer pendant l'exploitation ;
