Built-in 2.4GHz WiFi functionality

Notes

•Please read the user guide manual completely before installing or operating the product.

•This product is intended solely as an accessory, designed to work alongside select Leoxz products to enhance their

functionality.

•Before inserting the XS9 Dongle into the steering wheel, please make sure to disconnect the power supply to the

steering wheel. This means removing the steering wheel from its base, connecting the XS9 Dongle, and then

reinserting the steering wheel onto the base shaft.

•This product is designed to enhance the compatibility of select Leoxz products with PS4/5. However, when using

this accessory, certain functions of the steering wheel may be restricted due to limitations imposed by PS4/5.

•This product is designed to be connected to specific Leoxz steering wheels, and the steering wheel must also be

connected to the Fanatec DD Pro for proper functionality.

•This product can only be used with 2.4GHz WiFi to ensure proper functionality. It does not support 5GHz WiFi.

•Any modifications, disassemble, tampering, changes or unauthorized uses of the product will void the warranty.

•The product should not be used in wet or liquid environments and should be kept away from high temperatures,

low temperatures, and direct sunlight.

•Leoxz is responsible for revising and explaining this manual, and reserves the right to make changes or corrections

to the information and explanation provided without prior notice and without any responsibility. 1

Interface

Note:

When the steering wheel is connected to the XS9 Dongle, all power to the steering wheel is supplied through the Leoxz Fanatec QR via the

DD Pro. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the steering wheel connected to the DD Pro in order for all functions to work properly.

Connect the XS9 Dongle to the steering

wheel, and the steering wheel will switch to

the PS4/5 dashboard. When the steering

wheel is connected to the same WiFi network

as the PS4/5, it will be able to retrieve game

telemetry data from the PS4/5 via WiFi and

display the data on the steering wheel screen.

When the XS9 Dongle is connected to the

steering wheel, you can directly control the

PS4/5 menu and Fanatec base menu using

the buttons on the steering wheel. However,

due to the input restrictions of the PS4/5,

some buttons on the steering wheel and all

axes will not be functional.

XS9 interface

The XS9 Dongle can be easily connected

by inserting it into the XS9 interface on

the steering wheel.

It's important to note that when inserting

the XS9 Dongle, you should align the

notch direction of the interface correctly.

Forcing the insertion can result in

permanent damage to the components.

Once the connection is complete, ensure

that no matter how the steering wheel is

positioned or rotated, the XS9 Dongle

does not come into contact with any

surfaces, as this can also lead to

permanent failure of the XS9 Dongle.

The buttons that are labeled are available, while the unlabeled buttons, all axes paddles, and flag indicator lights are not available.

L2, L3, R2, R3 functions are mapped to the buttons and thumb encoders, allowing you to choose the input method based on your preference.

Joy supports only simple input for up, down, left, and right directions and cannot input analog values.

WiFi Connect

Note:

The steering wheel can only connect to the 2.4GHz WiFi signal of the router. Please make sure that your router is capable of broadcasting a

2.4GHz frequency WiFi signal, or else the steering wheel will be unable to connect to the network.

The maximum length for both the WiFi SSID and password input is 30 characters. Any SSID or password exceeding 30 characters will not be

supported.

Setting Button Select and Ok Button

By pressing the Setting button, you can

navigate through different menus. You

can input the WiFi name and password

using the 7-way switch located on the

right side.

The steering wheel will automatically

connect to the network. Please ensure

that both the PS4/5 and the steering

wheel are connected to the same local

area network (LAN).

Update

When the XS9 Dongle is connected to WiFi with internet access, long-press the update button. The status led will remain

steady, indicating it has entered the update state.

The XS9 Dongle will automatically download the latest firmware from the Leoxz remote server via WiFi for the update.

During the update process, the steering wheel screen will display the update progress.

Note:

If the update process fails due to network issues, please try long-pressing the update button again to attempt the update once more.

After the update is completed, it is necessary to completely disconnect the power supply to the steering wheel and reconnect the steering wheel to the base to ensure

that the hardware is fully reset. The update may clear the saved WiFi name and password on the steering wheel, so you may need to re-enter them after the update is

finished.
