The 41920-A01 is a compact-size digital amplifier (Class-D) with 3 inputs (2 line-in and
1 balanced MIC). It features a switchable bridged, dual-mono, or stereo output and
has many other features that make it a perfect addition to a classroom or conference
room application.

4. System Connection
4.1.Audio Output
4.1.1. Default output: 2x20Watt@4Ohm
The default amplifier output is 2 x 20 watts into a 4 ohm load. The amplifier should be
connected as pictured below:

4.1.2. Bridge connection: 1x40Watt@8Ohm
The amplifier can also be connected in a bridged configuration. This doubles the
output power to 1 x 40 watts into 8 ohms. The inputs are summed to mono so either or
both can be used. The Bridge connection is:

4.1.3. Dual-mono Output 2x20Watt@4Ohm
The amplifier can also be connected in a double-mono configuration. It sums the left
and right channel to generate a mono audio output. The Mono connection is:

4.1.4. Loop Output
Variable line level output. Output level changes with the line volume control.
4.2.Microphone input
The microphone input has three modes, and different modes use different
connections:
48V
MIC
LINE
4.2.1. 48V phantom power input
With the switch set to “48V”, the microphone input will provide a 48V phantom power.
This is typically used with condenser microphones.
Connect as follows:
“+” connects to positive, “-” connects to negative and “╧” connects to ground.
Note: Use with condenser microphones only.
4.2.2. MIC input
With the switch set to “MIC”, the microphone input is used to connect dynamic
microphones.
Connect as follows:
“+” connects to positive, “-” connects to negative and “╧” connects to ground.
4.2.3. LINE input
With the switch set to “LINE”, the microphone input is used to connect with line level
audio or a wireless microphone output.
Connect as follows:
“+” connects to positive, “-” connects to negative and “╧” connects to ground.

5. Operation of the Control Panel and the IR Remote
5.1.Operation of the Control Panel
The buttons on top of the unit provide control of volume, EQ, and input switching.
5.1.1. Input switching
There are two switchable stereo audio inputs, one stereo RCA input, and one stereo
3.5mm jack input, switchable through the buttons as below:
5.1.2. Volume/EQ control
The line volume and MIC volume can be controlled by the arrow buttons. The MIC
Volume, LINE volume, bass level, and treble level are selected first and then controlled
with the arrow buttons. See the picture below:

5.2.Usage of the IR Remote (SOLD SEPARATELY)
The IR target works in
conjunction with the IR
remote. To use, point the IR
remote at the IR target.

7. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
1) When there is no output audio:
Check if there is any signal at the input.
The signal can be verified by using an oscilloscope or a multimeter. If there is
no signal at the input, it may be that the input cable is broken or the connectors
are loose. Check the connectors and, if necessary, change out the cable.
Check if there is any signal at the output.
Verify that the correct input is chosen.
2) If the POWER indicator LED is not illuminated make sure the power cord is
plugged in.
8. Safety

1. Introduction
1.1.Présentation du modèle 41920-A01
Le modèle 41920-A01 est un amplificateur numérique compact de classe D doté de
trois entrées (deux d’appareil et une de micro symétrique). Il est également pourvu de
sorties commutables pontées, double mono ou stéréo, et présente de nombreuses
autres caractéristiques qui en font une solution idéale dans des salles de classe ou de
conférence.

4. Connexions à effectuer
4.1.Sorties audio
4.1.1. Sortie par défaut : 2 x 20 W à 4 Ω
La sortie par défaut de l’amplificateur est de deux fois 20 W sous 4 Ω. Les connexions
devraient être faites de la manière illustrée ci-dessous.

4.1.2. Sorties pontées : 1 x 40 W à 8 Ω
Les sorties de l’amplificateur peuvent aussi être pontées, doublant ainsi la puissance
de sortie pour atteindre 1 x 40 W sous 8 Ω. Les entrées sont additionnées en mono, et
peuvent donc être utilisées ensemble ou séparément. Voici comment on connecte les
sorties pontées.

4.1.3. Sortie double mono : 2 x 20 W à 4 Ω
Les connexions de l’amplificateur peuvent aussi être en double mono. Les canaux
droit et gauche sont ainsi additionnés pour en générer un seul. Voici comment on

4.1.4. Sortie de boucle
Sortie de préamplification variable, dont le niveau change en fonction des commandes
de volume.
4.2. Entrée de microphone
L’entrée de microphone peut fonctionner en trois modes selon la position du sélecteur
correspondant.

4.2.1. Microphones à alimentation fantôme
Quand le sélecteur est à « 48V », l’entrée de microphone fournit un courant fantôme
de 48 V normalement requis par les modèles à condensateur. ll faut effectuer les
raccords comme suit.
Le fil positif à la borne « + », le fil négatif à la borne « - » et le fil de terre à la borne
« ╧».
Remarque : ce réglage ne doit être choisi qu’en présence de microphones à
condensateur.
4.2.2. Microphones dynamiques
Quand le sélecteur est à « MIC », l’entrée de microphone peut recevoir un modèle
dynamique. ll faut effectuer les raccords comme suit.
Le fil positif à la borne « + », le fil négatif à la borne « - » et le fil de terre à la borne
« ╧».
4.2.3. Microphones sans fil
Quand le sélecteur est à « LINE », l’entrée de microphone peut servir de connexion
audio de préamplification (niveau de ligne) ou peut recevoir un modèle sans fil. ll faut
effectuer les raccords comme suit.
Le fil positif à la borne « + », le fil négatif à la borne « - » et le fil de terre à la borne
« ╧».

5. Tableau et télécommande
5.1.Fonctionnement du tableau de commande
Les boutons sur le dessus de l’amplificateur permettent de passer d’une entrée à une
autre, de régler le volume et d’égaliser les plages de fréquence.
5.1.1. Sélection de l’entrée
L’amplificateur est doté de deux entrées audio commutables, soit une RCA et une de
3,5 mm; on choisit laquelle activer au moyen du bouton INPUT SEL.
5.1.2. Volume et égalisation
Le volume et l’importance des plages de fréquence peuvent être réglés au moyen des
flèches. Il suffit de sélectionner d’abord la valeur à modifier (MIC pour le micro, LINE
pour les appareils, BASS pour les graves et TREBLE pour les aigus), comme on le
montre ci-dessous.
