Installation des piles
1.Enlevezlapelliculestatiquedel’écranLCDentirantsurlalanguette.
2. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles situé sur la partie arrière de l’unité
à l’aide d’un tournevis. Insérez 2 piles de type LR6/AA en respectant
lapolarité(signes+/-).Refermezlecouvercledespiles.L’heure,la
dateetlatempératureserontafchéessurl’écranLCD.

Horloge radio contrôlée
Cette horloge est conçue pour synchroniser automatiquement l’heure et
le calendrier dès qu’elle se trouve dans le champ de réception du signal
radiodeDCF77(heuredeGreenwich).
1.Unefoisquelespilesontétéinséréesdansl’unité,l’horlogeradio
contrôlée recevra automatiquement le signal radio. Lorsque l’horloge
reçoitlesignalradio,l’icône commence à clignoter. Il n’est pas
possible de régler l’heure ou la date lorsque l’horloge reçoit le signal.
Si vous souhaitez arrêter la réception et régler l’heure et la date
manuellement,appuyezsurlatoucheWAVE et entrez dans le mode
de réglage manuel.
2.Unefoisquel’horlogeareçulesignalradio,l’icône s’arrêtera
declignoteretresteraxe.
3. L’horloge radio contrôlée recevra automatiquement le signal radio
touslesjoursà02:00heures.Sil’horlogenepeutpasrecevoirle
signal,elleessaieraencoredelerecevoirà03:00,04:00et05:00
heures.Unefoisquel’horlogeareçulesignalradioavecsuccès,
elle ne le recevra plus pour le reste de la journée.
4.Pourdéclenchermanuellementlesignalradio,appuyezetmaintenez
la touche WAVE.
5.Lorsquel’alarmesonneàl’heurechoisie,laréceptiondusignalradio
sera interrompue.

clignote alors à l’écran.

touche SET pourconrmer.«ON » clignote alors à l’écran (heure
d’été).
9. Pour alterner entre l’heure d’été ON(activée)ouOFF(désactivée),
appuyez sur les touches UP(haut)etDOWN(bas)puisappuyezsur
la touche SET pourconrmer.L’écranretourneaumoded’afchage
de l’heure.
Remarque:Siaucunetouchen’estactivéependant30secondes,
l’horlogeretourneraaumoded’afchagedel’heure.

Rétro éclairage
Enmoded’afchagedel’heure,appuyezunefoissurlatoucheLIGHT/
SNOOZE. Le rétro éclairage s’activera durant 5 secondes.
Réglages de l’alarme
Votre horloge RLR800a2alarmes:AL1 et AL2 qui peuvent être
réglées indépendamment l’une de l’autre.
Afcher l’heure de l’alarme AL1 ou AL2
1.Enmoded’afchagedel’heure,appuyezsurlatoucheSET pour
afcherl’heureprogramméepourALARM1.L’écranafcheAL1 sur
la droite.
2. Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche SETpourafcherl’heure
programméepourALARM2.L’écranafcheAL2 sur la droite.
Régler l’heure de l’alarme 1 (AL1) et de l’alarme 2 (AL2)
Régler l’heure de AL1
1.Enmoded’afchagedel’heure,appuyezUNE FOIS sur la touche
SETpourafcherl’heureprogramméepourALARM1.L’écran
afcheAL1surladroite.
2.Lorsquel’écranafchel’heureprogramméepourAL1,appuyezet
maintenez la touché SET pendant 2 secondes pour entrer dans le
modederéglagedel’heuredel’alarme.L’écranafcheuneicônede
cloche entre l’heure et les minutes.
3. Vous pouvez régler l’heure et les minutes en appuyant sur les
touches UP (haut)etDOWN(bas)puisappuyezsurlatoucheSET à
chaquefoispourconrmerl’heurepuislesminutes.
Température
Appuyez sur la touche °C/°Fpourfairepermuterl’afchagedela
températureentreCelsius(°C)etFahrenheit(°F).

Régler l’heure de AL2
1.Enmoded’afchagedel’heure,appuyezDEUX FOIS sur la touche
SETpourafcherl’heureprogramméepourALARM2.L’écran
afcheAL2 sur la droite.
2.Lorsquel’écranafchel’heureprogramméepourAL2,appuyezet
maintenez la touche SET pendant 2 secondes pour entrer dans le
modederéglagedel’heuredel’alarme.L’écranafcheuneicônede
cloche entre l’heure et les minutes.
3. Vous pouvez régler l’heure et les minutes en appuyant sur les
touches UP(haut)etDOWN(bas)puisappuyezsurlatoucheSETà
chaquefoispourconrmerl’heurepuislesminutes.
4.L’écranretourneaumoded’afchagedel’heureetl’icônedela
clocheresteafchéeàl’écranpourconrmerquel’alarme2(AL2)
est activée.
Remarque:Durantleréglagedel’alarme,siaucunetouchen’est
activéependant30secondes,l’horlogeretourneraaumoded’afchage
de l’heure.
Activer ou désactiver l’alarme AL1 et AL2
Enmoded’afchagedel’heure,appuyezsurlatoucheALM pour
activer ou désactiver les alarmes. La séquence est composée de 4
actions.Chaquepressioncorrespondàuneaction:
AL1activéeËAL1désactivéeetAL2activéeËAL1etAL2activées
ËAL1etAL2désactivées.
Remarque: L’alarme sonnera pendant 2 minutes avec 4 niveaux de
volume croissants.

Fonction répétition de l’alarme
1.Lorsquel’alarmesonne,l’icônedelaclocheclignoteàl’écran.
Appuyez sur la touche LIGHT/SNOOZE pour temporairement arrêter
l’alarme et activer la fonction de répétition.
2.Lorsquelafonctionderépétitiondel’alarmeestactivée,l’icônede
la cloche ne clignote plus et reste à l’écran. L’icône de répétition
clignote.
3. L’alarme sonnera toutes les 5 minutes et l’écran s’illuminera pendant
5 secondes à chaque fois jusqu’à ce que vous arrêtiez l’alarme
complètement.
Arrêter l’alarme
Lorsquel’alarmesonne,appuyezsurn’importequelletoucheautreque
la touche LIGHT/SNOOZE pour arrêter complètement l’alarme.
Nettoyage et Entretien
• Ne nettoyez aucune partie de votre horloge radio contrôlée RLR800
avecdubenzène,dudiluantoud’autressolvantschimiques.Cela
peut entraîner un dommage permanent qui n’est pas couvert par la
garantie.Sinécessaire,nettoyeravecunchiffon humide.
• EvitezdesoumettrevotrehorlogeradiocontrôléeRLR800aux
températures extrêmes,auxchocs sévères,etévitezdela
mouiller.
• Quandl’intensitédel’écranLCDdiminue,remplacezlespiles.
• Eviteztouteutilisationenprésencedechamps magnétiques
comme dans les aéroports.
• ToutaétéfaitpourassurerunegrandeabilitédevotreRLR800.
Toutefois,encasdeproblème,ne tentez pas de la réparer vous-

Unpacking your RLR800

Getting Started
Installing the batteries
1.RemovetheclearlmlabelfromtheLCDscreenbypullingthetab.
2. Open the battery compartment located on the back side of the unit
with a screwdriver. Install 2 x AA LR6 batteries according to the
polarity(+/-signs).Closethebatterydoor.
Thetime,date,andtemperaturewillbedisplayedontheLCDscreen.
Radio-controlled clock
This clock is designed to automatically synchronize its calendar clock
once it is brought within the reception range of the DCF77 radio signal
(GMTGreenwich).

1.Oncebatterieshavebeeninsertedintheunit,theradio-controlled
clock will automatically receive the radio signal. When the clock
startsreceivingtheradiosignal,the iconwillstartashing.No
adjustment of time and date is possible while the clock is receiving
the signal. If you wish to interrupt the reception and set the time and
datemanually,presstheWAVE button and enter into the setting
mode(seepage15).
2.Whentheclockhasreceivedtheradiosignalsuccessfully,the
iconwillstopashingandwillremainsolid.
3.Theradio-controlledclockwillautomaticallyreceivetheradiosignal
everydayat02:00.Ifitfailstoreceivetheradiosignalsuccessfully,
itwillcheckagainat3:00,04:00and05:00.Onceitwillreceivethe
signalsuccessfully,itwillnotcheckagainforthatday.
4.Totriggertheradiosignalmanually,pressandholdtheWAVE button.
5.Whenthealarmringsatthesettime,theradiosignalreceptionis
interrupted.

Setting the Date and Time
1.Inclockdisplaymode,presstheSET button for 2 seconds to enter in
the setting mode. The year 2005ashes.
2.Toadjusttheyear,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and then press
SETtoconrm.Themonthashes.
3.Toadjustthemonth,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and then press
SETtoconrm.Thedateashes.
4.Toadjustthedate,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and then press
SETtoconrm.Then24 Hashes.
5.Toselect12or24hourmode,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and
then press SETtoconrm.Thehourashes.
6.Toadjustthehour,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and then press
SETtoconrm.Theminutesash.
7.Toadjusttheminutes,presstheUP or DOWN buttons and then
press SETtoconrm.Then00ashes(timezoneselection).
8.Toadjustthetimezone,presstheUP or DOWN buttons. The
adjustmentrangeis:-12~12hr.PressSETtoconrm.ThenON
ashes(DaylightSavingTime).
9.ToselectDaylightSavingTime(DST)ON or OFF,presstheUP or
DOWN buttons and then press SETtoconrm.Thedisplaygoes
back to clock display mode.
Note:Duringthesettingprocess,ifthereisnoconrmationwithin30
seconds,thedisplaywillautomaticallygobacktonormalclockdisplay
mode.
Backlight
Intimedisplaymode,presstheLIGHT/SNOOZE button once. The
backlight will be on for 5 seconds.

Temperature
1.PresstheºC/ ºF button to toggle between temperature display in
Celcius(ºC)andFarenheit(ºF).
2.Temperaturewillbedetectedonceevery12seconds.Detection
rangeis:-10ºC~50ºC(14oF~122ºF)andaccuracyis:+/-1ºC.
Temperature detection will be suspended when the alarm clock is
ringing or when it is checking for RCC signal.
Alarm Mode
Your RLR800alarmclockhas2alarmsettings:AL1 and AL2 which
can be set independently.
Display the set times for AL1 and AL2
1.Innormalclockdisplaymode,presstheSETbuttononcetodisplay
thesettimeforALARM1.ThedisplayshowsAL1ontheright.
2.PresstheSETbuttonagaintodisplaythesettimeforALARM2.The
display shows AL2 on the right.

1.Innormalclockdisplaymode,presstheSET button ONCE to display
thesettimeforALARM1.ThedisplayshowsAL1 on the right.
2.OncethedisplayshowsthesettimeforAL1,presstheSET button
for 2 seconds to enter in the alarm time setting mode. A bell symbol
appears on the display between the hour and the minutes.
3. You can adjust the hour and minutes by pressing the UP or DOWN
buttons and then pressing SETeachtimetoconrm.
4. The display then goes back to normal clock display mode and the bell
symbolremainsonthedisplaytosignalthatAL1ison.

Adjusting the time for AL2
1.Innormalclockdisplaymode,presstheSET button TWICE to
display the set time for ALARM 2. The display shows AL2 on the
right.
2.OncethedisplayshowsthesettimeforAL2,presstheSET button
for 2 seconds to enter in the alarm time setting mode. A bell symbol
appears on the display between the hour and the minutes.
3. You can adjust the hour and minutes by pressing the UP or DOWN
buttons and then pressing SETeachtimetoconrm.
4. The display then goes back to normal clock display mode and the bell
symbol remains on the display to signal that AL2 is on.
Note:Duringthesettingprocess,ifthereisnoconrmationwithin30
seconds,thedisplaywillautomaticallygobacktonormalclockdisplay
mode.
Set AL1 or/and AL2 on or off
Innormalclockdisplaymode,presstheALM button to switch the
alarms on or off.
Thesequenceis:
AL1onËAL1offandAL2onËAL1andAL2onËAL1andAL2off.
Note: the alarm rings for 2 minutes with 4 levels of increasing volume.
Snooze function
1.Whenthealarmisringing,thebellsymbolashesonthedisplay.
Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to temporarily turn off the alarm
and use the snooze function.
2.Whenthesnoozefunctionison,thebellsymbolstaysconstanton
thedisplayandthesnoozesymbolashes.
3.Thealarmwillberepeatedevery5minutesandtheLEDlightswill
stay on for 5 seconds.

Turning off the alarm
Whenthealarmisringing,pressanybuttonotherthantheLIGHT/
SNOOZE button to turn off the alarm.
Important Remarks
• Don’tcleananypartofyourRLR800withbenzene,thinnersorother
solvent chemicals—this may cause permanent damage which is not
coveredbytheguarantee.Whennecessary,cleanitwithadamp
cloth.
• KeepyourRLR800awayfromextreme temperature, water or
severe shock.
• WhentheLCDscreenturnsunclear,replacethebatteries.
• Avoid using in the presence of magnetic elds such as in airports.
• Everyefforthasbeenmadetoensurehighstandardsofreliabilityfor
yourRLR800.However,ifsomethingdoesgowrong,please do not
try to repair it yourself–consultyoursupplierortheLEXIBOOK®
help line.
