Switching the walkie-talkies on and off: To turn the walkie-talkies on and off, hold down the on/off button for 2 to 3 seconds. You will
hear a musical tone each time to conrm.
Volume control: To adjust the loudspeaker volume, press the ▲ or ▼ button
Changing the channels:
Your walkie-talkie has eight channels, numbered 1 to 8. To communicate with other walkie-talkie users within the range, you must all have
your walkie-talkie tuned to the same channel. Press the MENU button once. The current channel number ashes on the display. Press
the ▲ or ▼ buttons to go to the channel you want. Press the PTT button to conrm the channel setting.
Changing the subchannel: If there are many device users near you, there is a chance that some of the users are operating on the same
radio channel. Press the MENU button twice, the current CTCSS/DCS code will ash on the display. Press the up/down button to choose
among the 121 available codes. Press the PTT button to conrm and return to stand-by mode.
Speaking to another walkie-talkie user: Press and hold the PTT button. Walkie-Talkie transmission is ‘one way-at-a-time’ - while you
are speaking, you cannot receive a transmission. Make sure to release the PTT button when you are done talking; this will let your partner
communicate back.
Ringtone: You can send ringtones to other handsets within range that are tuned to the same channel (and sub-channel if applicable) by
short pressing the PTT button. To change the melody, press the MENU button 4 times until “CA” is displayed on the screen. Press the
UP▲ or Down ▼ button to choose among 10 available call tones. Press the PTT button to conrm and return to stand-by mode.
Scan (SCAN):
Press and hold the UP ▲ button for 3 seconds: “SCAN” function indicator will appear on the display and the device will scan continuously
the channels from 1 to 8. Once an active channel is found, the scanning will stop automatically and you can start transmitting / receiving.
Note: If you press PTT button while listening to a found channel, the device will go back to stand-by mode on the found channel.
Hands free function (VOX): Press the MENU button three times, the current VOX setting will ash on the display and the VOX icon will
display, Press up ▲ button to set the VOX sensitivity level between 1 and 3 (level 3 is the highest sensitivity level).Press down on the
button until “OF” appears on the display to turn VOX OFF. Press the PTT button to conrm and return to stand-by mode. In VOX mode,
the radio will transmit a signal when it is activated by your voice or other sounds around you. VOX Operation is not recommended if you
plan to use your device in a noisy or windy environment. Note: VOX mode will be overridden when you press the PTT button.
Monitor: Press and hold the DOWN ▼ button about 3 seconds to activate/deactivate monitor.
Roger Beep: Once you release the PTT button, the device will send out a roger beep to conrm that you have stopped talking. Press 6
times the MENU button, “RO” will be displayed. Press the UP▲/Down▼ button to turn roger beep on/off. Press The PTT button to conrm
your selection and return to the stand-by mode.
Backlit display: Press any button except for the PTT button to activate the back light of the LCD display. The back light will light on for about 5 seconds.
Bell: Turn button sounds on/off. Press the MENU button 7 times. Press the UP▲/Down▼ button to turn beep sounds on/off. Press The
PTT button to conrm your selection and return to stand-by mode.
Time-Out: Unit stops communication automatically after 30 or 60 seconds if PTT button is pressed. Press the MENU button 5 times.
Press the UP▲/Down▼ button to choose between 30, 60 seconds or OF.
Transmitting range
• The talk range depends on environmental and terrain. It will be greatest (up to about 5km or 3 miles) in wide open spaces, without
obstructions such as hills or buildings. If you are having issues with communicating, it is recommended to be in a location with less
trafc and less surrounding noise.
• Don’t try to use two walkie-talkies which are less than 1.5m (5 feet) apart. lf you do, you may get interference.
• PMR446 is an open-license band - always identify yourself when transmitting, as other people may be communicating on the same
channel.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new
and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the
correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a re. Remove
the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.

WARNING: Malfunction or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge. Should any abnormal function
occur, remove the batteries and insert them again.
These walkie-talkies operate on 3.6V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries 600mAh (3 x 1.2V AAA) for each walkie-talkie (included).
Remove the belt clip on the rear of the walkie-talkie to access the battery door.
To remove the belt clip
It is easier to t the batteries without the belt clip in place.
Pull the tab forward (away from the handset) to release the belt clip. Then lift the belt clip off.
Installing batteries:
1. Open the battery compartment located under the unit.
2. Install the 3.6V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries 600mAh (3 x 1.2V AAA) observing the polarity
markings inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. The walkie-talkies will automatically power on and are ready for use.
To t the belt clip
Slide the belt clip down into the slot until it clicks into place.
Charging the batteries
Connect one end of the micro USB cable to the micro USB port (11) and the other end into the USB port of your powered computer or
plug it to a USB adapter connected to a wall socket.

Important safety warning
• To reduce radio frequency exposure when you’re using your TW43series, hold the handset at least 5cm (2 inches) from your face.
• Never use your walkie-talkies outdoors in a thunderstorm.
• Don’t use your PMR in the rain.
• If your PMR becomes wet, turn it off and remove the battery pack. Dry the battery compartment and leave the battery cover off for a few hours.
• Don’t use the PMR until it is completely dry.
• Keep the PMR out of the reach of babies and young children.
• Battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
• The device complies with RF specications when used near your body. Keep a distance of 2.5 cm from the body. Ensure that the
device accessories, such as a device case and device holster, are not composed of metal components. Keep the device away from
your body to meet the distance requirement.
CAUTION : RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES
ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTION.
• Keep minimum distances around the apparatus for sufcient ventilation;

Allumer et éteindre les talkies-walkies: Pour allumer les talkies-walkies, appuyez sur le bouton On/Off pendant 2 à 3 secondes. Vous
entendrez une tonalité conrmant l’allumage
Contrôle du volume: Pour régler le volume du haut-parleur : appuyez sur la touche ▲ ou ▼.
Changement de canaux: Le TW43series a huit canaux, numérotés de 1 à 8. Pour communiquer avec d’autres utilisateurs à portée,
vos talkies-walkies doivent être toujours réglés sur un même canal. Appuyez une fois sur la touche MENU. Le numéro de canal actuel
clignote sur l’afchage. Appuyez sur la touche ▲ ou ▼ pour accéder au canal que vous souhaitez. Appuyez sur la touche PTT pour
conrmer.
Changement des sous-canaux: Si d’autres utilisateurs de talkie-walkies se trouvent à portée, il est possible qu’ils utilisent le même canal
radio. Appuyez deux fois sur le bouton MENU, le code CTCSS/DCS actuel clignotera à l’écran. Appuyez sur le bouton haut / bas pour
choisir parmi les 121 codes disponibles. Appuyez sur le bouton PTT pour conrmer.
Pour parler à un autre utilisateur de talkie-walkie: Appuyez sur la touche PTT et maintenez-là enfoncée. Parlez clairement dans le
microphone, d’une voix normale. Ne criez pas. Quand vous avez ni de parler, relâchez la touche PTT(parler). La transmission PMR est
‘un-sens-à-la-fois’. Pendant que vous parlez, vous ne pouvez pas recevoir de transmission.
Tonalité d’appel: Vous pouvez envoyer une tonalité d’appel vers d’autres appareils à portée et réglés sur le même canal (ou sous-canal
si applicable) en appuyant brièvement sur le bouton PTT. Pour changer de sonnerie, appuyez 4 fois sur le bouton MENU jusqu’à ce que
“CA” s’afche à l’écran. Appuyez sur le bouton HAUT ▲ ou BAS ▼ pour choisir parmi 10 tonalités d’appel disponibles. Appuyez sur le
bouton PTT pour conrmer.
Recherche de canal actif (SCAN): Quand la fonction SCAN est en service, l’appareil interrogera les huit canaux, jusqu’à en trouver
un sur lequel un autre utilisateur est en train de transmettre. Appuyez sur la touche ▲ et maintenez-là enfoncée pendant 3 secondes et
l’appareil débute le scan. Quand l’appareil détecte un canal actif, il s’arrête sur ce canal. Appuyez sur ou ▲ pour continuer à interroger
les canaux 1 à 8. Appuyez sur la touche PTT ou MENU pour terminer le scan et communiquer.
Fonction mains libres (VOX): Appuyez trois fois sur le bouton MENU, le réglage VOX actuel clignotera sur l’écran. Appuyez sur le bouton
▲ pour régler le niveau de sensibilité VOX entre les niveaux 1 à 3 (le niveau 3 est le niveau de sensibilité le plus haut) ou sur “OF” pour le
désactiver. Appuyez sur le bouton PTT pour conrmer. En mode VOX, l’appareil transmet un signal lorsqu’il est activé par votre voix ou un autre
son autour de vous. La fonction VOX n’est pas recommandée si vous prévoyez d’utiliser votre appareil dans un environnement bruyant ou venteux.
Surveillance du canal actuel: Appuyez et maintenez le bouton BAS ▼ environ 3 secondes pour activer/désactiver le moniteur.
Bip « Roger »: Le bip ‘Roger’est une tonalité qui est transmise automatiquement lorsque la touche PTT est relâchée. Elle permet d’indiquer
à votre interlocuteur que vous avez terminé de parler et que vous êtes désormais en mode de réception. Appuyez 6 fois sur le bouton MENU, “RO”

Enlevez l’attache ceinture à l’arrière du talkie-walkie pour accéder au compartiment des piles.
Pour enlever l’attache ceinture
Il est plus facile d’installer le bloc pile sans l’attache. Tirez la languette vers l’avant (en éloignant l’appareil) pour
détacher l’attache ceinture. Retirez alors l’attache ceinture.
Installation des piles :
1. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles sous l’appareil.
2. Insérer 3.6V Ni-MH batteries rechargeables 600mAh (3 x 1.2V AAA), en respectant la polarité
indiquée au fond du compartiment des piles.
3. Refermez le boîtier.
4. Les talkies-walkies se mettent automatiquement en marche et sont prêts à l’emploi.
Pour remettre l’attache ceinture
Faites glisser l’attache dans la fente en cliquant.
Charger l’appareil
Branchez une extrémité du câble micro-USB (inclus) dans le port micro-USB (11), et l’autre extrémité au port USB d’un ordinateur ou sur
un adaptateur USB connecté à une prise murale.

Importantes règles de sécurité
• Pour limiter l’exposition aux fréquences radio quand vous utilisez votre talkie-walkie, tenez votre appareil au moins à 5 cm (2 pouces) de votre visage.
• N’utilisez jamais votre talkie-walkie à l’extérieur pendant un orage.
• N’utilisez jamais votre talkie-walkie sous la pluie.
• Si votre talkie-walkie est très mouillé, éteignez–le et enlevez le bloc-pile. Séchez le compartiment à piles et laissez ouvert quelques heures.
• N’utilisez pas le talkie-walkie avant qu’il soit parfaitement sec.
• Ne pas laisser le talkie-walkie à la portée de jeunes enfants.
• Les batteries ne doivent jamais être exposées à une source de chaleur excessive, par exemple la lumière du soleil ou un feu.
• L’appareil est conforme aux spécications RF d’utilisation près de votre corps. Gardez à une distance de 2.5 cm de votre corps.
Vériez que les accessoires de l’appareil, par exemple un étui de rangement ou un boîtier, ne comportent pas de parties métalliques.
Maintenez l’appareil éloigné de votre corps pour respecter la distance exigée.

Entfernen Sie den Gürtelclip an der Rückseite des Walkie-Talkies, um auf die
Batteriefachabdeckung zuzugreifen.
Nehmen Sie Den Gurtclipab
Die Batterien lassen sich ohne Gurtclip leichter einlegen.
Ziehen Sie die Abdeckung nach vorne (vom Gerät weg), um den Gurtclip zu entfernen. Ziehen Sie den Gurtclip dann ab.
Batterien einlegen:
1. Zum Einlegen der Batterien das Batteriefach an der Rückseite des Gerätes.
2. Setzen Sie 3.6V Ni-MH Wiederauadbare Batterien 600mAh (3 x 1.2V AAA) ein, wobei Sie die im
Inneren des Batteriefachs angegebene und auf der anderen Seite abgebildete Polarität beachten.
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
4. Die Walkie-Talkies schalten sich automatisch ein und sind einsatzbereit.
Gurtclipbefestigung
Schieben Sie den Gurtclip in den Schlitz, bis er einrastet.
Stromversorgung
Schließen Sie den kleinen Stecker des Micro USB-Kabels (enthalten) an den Mikro-USB-Port (11) und Schließen Sie das andere Ende
an einen USB-Anschluss des eingeschalteten Computers oder an einen USB-Netzadapter an, den Sie in die Steckdose stecken.

Demande de transmission
• La portée de communication dépend de l’environnement et du terrain. Elle sera maximum (jusqu’à 5km environ) dans des grands
espaces ouverts, sans obstacles, tels que collines ou bâtiments. Si vous avez des problèmes de communication, il est recommandé
d’être dans un endroit avec moins de trac et moins de bruit environnant.
• N’essayez pas d’utiliser deux talkies-walkies à moins de 1,5 m de distance. Si vous le faites, vous pourrez avoir des interférences.
• La transmission PMR est sur fréquence ouverte. Identiez-vous toujours avant de parler comme d’autres utilisateurs pourraient être sur
le même canal.

Estos walkie-talkies funcionan con 3.6V Ni-MH pilas recargables 600mAh (3 x 1.2V AAA) pilas para cada walkie-talkie (incluidas).

Wechseln der Unterkanäle: Wenn sich viele Gerätebenutzer in Ihrer Nähe benden, kann es vorkommen, dass manche Benutzer auf
dem gleichen Funkkanal wie Sie senden. Drücken Sie zweimal die MENU-Taste. Der aktuelle CTCSS/DCS-Code blinkt daraufhin auf
dem Display. Drücken Sie die Aufwärts/Abwärts-Taste, um zwischen 121 verfügbaren Codes auszuwählen. Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste,
um zu bestätigen und in den Stand-by-Modus zurückzukehren.
Das Gespräch mit einem anderen PMF-Teilnehmer: Halten Sie die Gesprächstaste gedrückt. Sprechen Sie laut und deutlich in
normalem Ton in das Mikrofon - schreien Sie nicht. Wenn Sie zu Ende gesprochen haben, drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste. Die PMF-
Übertragung ist eine Einwegeübertragung - während Sie sprechen könnenSie nicht empfangen.
Klingelton: Sie können anderen Handgeräten in der Nähe, die auf den gleichen Kanal (und Unterkanal, sofern zutreffend) eingestellt
sind, einen Klingelton senden, indem Sie einmal kurz die PTT-Taste drücken. Um die Melodie zu ändern, drücken Sie die MENU-Taste
viermal, bis „CA“ auf dem Display angezeigt wird. Drücken Sie die▲ oder ▼ Taste, um zwischen 10 verfügbaren Anruftönen zu wählen.
Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste, um zu bestätigen und in den Stand-by-Modus zurückzukehren.
Kanäle durchsuchen (Scanning): Wenn die Scan-Funktion aktiviert ist, durchsucht das Handgerät permanent alle 8 Kanäle nach einem
Sendesignal. Halten sie die Taste ▲ gedrückt. Am Display wird SCAN eingeblendet. Das Handgerät startet die Suche. Sobald ein Signal
erkannt wird, stoppt die Suche. Mit der Gesprächstaste (PTT) oder die MENU Taste stoppen Sie die Suche und nehmen das Gespräch auf.
Freisprechfunktion (VOX): Drücken Sie dreimal die MENU-Taste. Die aktuelle VOX-Einstellung blinkt daraufhin auf dem Display und
das VOX-Symbol wird angezeigt. Drücken Sie die ▲ Taste, um die VOX-Empndlichkeitsstufe zwischen 1 und 3 (Stufe 3 ist die höchste
empndlichkeitsstufe) einzustellen. Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt, bis „OF“ auf dem Display angezeigt wird, um VOX zu DEAKTIVIEREN.
Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste, um zu bestätigen und in den Stand-by-Modus zurückzukehren. Im VOX-Modus sendet das Funkgerät ein
Signal, wenn es durch Ihre Stimme oder ein anderes Geräusch in Ihrer Umgebung aktiviert wird. Der VOX-Betrieb wird nicht empfohlen,
wenn Sie Ihr Gerät in einer lauten oder windigen Umgebung benutzen wollen. Hinweis: Der VOX-Modus wird deaktiviert, wenn Sie die
PTT-Taste drücken.
Monitor: Halten Sie die ▼ Taste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um die Überwachungsfunktion zu aktivieren/deaktivieren .
Akustisches Roger-Signal: Sobald Sie die PTT-Taste loslassen, sendet das Gerät ein akustisches Roger-Signal, um zu bestätigen,

Gebäude, ist die Übertragungs-reich-weite am längsten (bis cirka 5km oder 3 Meilen).
Falls Sie Probleme mit der Kommunikation haben, empehlt es sich, sich an eine Stelle mit weniger Verkehr und
Umgebungsgeräuschen zu begeben.
• Versuchen Sie nicht zwei Walkie-Talkies Handgeräte gleichzeitig in einer Reichweite zu verwenden, die unter 1,5 m liegt. Dieskönnte
