Using the micro SD Card
YoucanuseamicroSDcardtopreventinterruptionof
recordingormonitoringevenwhenthereisanetworkfailure.
Inserting a micro SD Card
1. OpenthemicroSDCardSlotCover.
2. Asillustratedbelow,insertthemicroSDcardwhile
makingsurethedirectionoftheterminalsonthecard
isproperlyaligned.Slideinthecardslowly,andgivea
littlepressureattheendtocompletetheinsertionofthe
card.
Note:
• Donotuseexcessiveforceasyouslideinthecardto
preventdamages.
• Insertingthecardwiththeterminalsfacingthewrong
dirctionmayresultinthedamagesofthecardofthecard
slotonthedevice.
• Keepthemetallicterminalonthecardclearofanyforeign
objectsorcontamination.
• TheSDcardisaconsumableitem.Afteracertainnumber
ofreading/writingoperationsthecardmayexpireandthe
datamaynotbesaved.Inthiscase,replacetheexpired
cardwithanewone.

Removal of the micro SD Card from the
Device
1. PressdownthemicroSDcardgentlytounlockthecard
fromtheslot.
2. Pullouttoremovethecardwithcare.Ifyouuseexces-
siveforcetopulloutthecardfromtheslotwithoutfirst
unlocking,itmayresultinthedamagesonthecardof
thecardslotonthedevice.
Caution:
• Whenyouremovethecardfromthedeviceasthedevice
isstillrunning,makesurethecardisunmountedfrom
thesystemfirst,byaccessingthe[Unmount]commandin
[SDCard>Settings>DiskManagement]menu.Ifthecard
isremovedwithoutunmountingit,thedatastoredwithin
thecardmaybecompromisedorthedevicewouldnot
workproperly.
• LGElectronicsisnotresponsibleforthedamagesorthe
lostdataduetotheimproperinsertionorremovalofthe
SDcardbytheusers.
