1.0 Introduction
IPC0522 video QR pass works as a standalone video access control with LILIN Cloud for B&B visiting, hotel
visiting, office visiting, public gate control, registration system, dormitory, building automation, and access
control of ELV room. The system is described in the manual below:

3.0 Door Station Software Setup
After login an IPC0522 door station via an Internet browser, click on Network and Cloud. Enter LILIN Cloud
account in IPC0522 for registering to LILIN Cloud. Make sure that IPC0522 is at DHCP mode for Internet
access to LILIN Cloud. The default name and password for accessing IPC0522 are admin and pass.
Visit the page of Advance->Event->QR Code for enabling QR Code and Verify Current Time Stamp options
for IPC0522 communicating to LILIN Cloud.

4.0 Door Station Door Lock Setup
Connect LILIN door station digital relay for opening a door. Please connect ALARM OUT-N.C. and COM. to
the door lock.
5.0 Cloud Registration for a Door Station
Visit LILIN Cloud at https://cloud.ddnsipcam.com/.Make sure that you have registered a LILIN Cloud
account. Visit Manage Visitor page on LILIN Cloud.

After successfully registering the IPC0522, the door station button shows the registered door stations below:
In door station page of Manage Visitor, an account of LILIN Cloud can manage multiple door stations.
(1) Select a door station to create a QR pass.
(2) Click on button for generating a QR pass.
5.1 Create a Guest QR Pass
Follow the steps below for generating a QR pass.
Enter the starting time and ending time for a visitor by choosing the number of days for a visit, the time range
can be exactly 24h x (number of days), ex: 2019/07/29 13:00 to 2019/08/03 13:00.

As an office or a hotel manager, you can specify the starting time and the ending time, according to the time
of a visitor entering a building, like a hotel where it requires a visitor to leave hotel before 12pm. In this
case, you do not need to fill Number of Staying Days, entering the End Time instead.
5.2 Create a Personnel QR Code Pass
For a permanent access of a hotel personnel, a janitor for example, check on the Full Time access box. It
will be based on the hour period of the Start Time: HH:MM to the End Time HH:MM for the year and month
specified.
The end time must be later than the start time, for example:
Start Time: 2019-07-29 05:00
End Time: 2019-08-10 06:30
This QR pass can be valid to use from 05:00 to 06:30 every day, for example janitor of a hotel.
After the QR pass gets deleted, the QR pass is in the denial list to prevent offline use.

Select Full Time access and click OK button to validate
5.3 Delete a QR Pass
If you want a specific QR pass to be removed from the access list, select one of the visitors and click on the
button.

You will see a new window call Visitor Remove, scroll down to the bottom
Click on OK to remove this visiting.
You will see a pop up notification to confirm.
6.0 Audio Guidance on IPC0522 Assigned via LILIN Cloud
You can assign 5 different pre-recorded audio guidances on IPC0522 for a visitor after scanning the QR
Pass on the mobile phone. Select one of the Sound Effects on LILIN Cloud. This is for IPC0522 to play an
audio guidance such as “welcome” for a particular QR Pass.

6.1 Audio Guidance on IPC0522 for Allowed or Invalid Access
You can further program QR Pass valid access via Motion Detection event. For invalid access or denial
access, use Tampering Detection event for triggering such as an audio guidance.
In the IPC0522 web interface, go to Video/Audio -> Audio Playback page.

Audio file specifications
User should be able to upload up to five audio files.
The maximum size of audio file must be less than 3MB.
The upload audio file must be WAV format.
The sampling rate of audio file must be 8000Hz, 16000Hz, 32000Hz, 44100Hz.
The quantization bit of audio file must be 16 bits.
The channel of audio file must be Mono.
You can use format factory software to convert your audio file into the one recognized by our IPC0522.
Name your audio file : example hello
Upload the file from your computer, then click on upload
A short message will appear in the middle notifying it is under uploading.
When the file uploading is finished to IPC0522, you will see that IPC0522 has created a file name called
user_audio1.wav which is correspondent to Sound #1 of LILIN Cloud, you can press the Play button to listen
it from the speakers of the IPC0522
7.0 Email QR Pass
Once a QR pass gets created by a manager, you can send or email the hyperlink of a QR pass to a visitor.
A visitor can click on the link of the QR pass on a mobile phone for 30-minute access. Face the QR pass
on a mobile phone to an IPC0522 for opening a door via the relay output of an IPC0522.

8.0 QR Code Pass Transfer Protection
When a visitor receives an email and click on the link at 11:41, the QR pass is valid from 11:41 to 12:11.
Later than 12:11, the visitor must click the link again to generate a new time range, until before the end time
21:00. This is to prevent someone taking a snapshot of a QR pass from yesterday.
After 21:00, the system will generate an invalid QR pass for preventing an access.
9.0 Door Station Offline Mode
IPC0522 door station is able to operate at offline mode where IPC0522 may not be able to connect to LILIN
Cloud for validating a visit. IPC0522 decodes the QR pass for opening a door. In contrast, if IPC0522 is
connected to LILIN Cloud, IPC0522 is able to check if a QR pass is removed from an access.
10.0 Device Cloud History Record
For valid QR pass, when the end time of a stay is overdue, the expired QR pass is recorded in the history
records and is retained for 30 days. After 30 days, the system deletes the QR pass automatically.
An administrator can use CSV exporting function to export QR passes for backup or promotion purpose.

11.0 Door Station History Record
To display the visitor history record, please click on Advance –> Event –> QR Code Log.
12.0 Open the Door via LILINViewer App
Please purchase LILIN NVR working with LILINViewer App via P2P connection. You are able to open the
door via LILINViewer App.
