Before Use
Check the cylinder and valve
for any damage before use and
restrain the cylinder so that it is
not able to rotate or fall.
Check the cylinder label to
ensure the correct gas has been
selectedfor the application.

1. Remove light blue plastic cap from threaded valve
Connection (B). Connect the relevant outlet hose
connection(C). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
2. To open the valve, press the blue safety interlock button
(D) and then slowly lift the actuator lever (E).

3. Slowly turn the ow control knob (F) in a clockwise
direction to increase gas ow to the desired level (litres per
minute) shown on indicator (G) at the notch. The EVOS ViPR is
ready to deliver gas.
1. To shut o󹟽 the valve slowly lower the actuator lever (E)
to its closed position, ensuring it engages with the safety
interlock mechanism (D).
2. Shut down the regulator by slowly turning the ow control
knob (F) in an anti-clockwise direction, until the indicator shows
OFF. DO NOT GO BELOW OFF OR APPLY EXCESSIVE TORQUE.
3. Disconnect the outlet hose connection (C) when the
cylinder is empty or a di󹟽erent gas is required. The cylinder
package is now safe to be stored or transported ahead of its
next intended use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Whether the cylinder is in use or not, it should be restrained to avoid rotation or tipping.
