These headphones contain inverse phase active technology which ‘cancels out’ background
noise resulting in a more enjoyable audio experience. The 40mm driver units provide superior
sound performance whilst the soft, cushioned earpads are comfortable to wear for long
periods. Perfect for a long fl ight, train journey, in the car or just to use at home.

To store the NC-40s in the supplied carry bag, remove the audio cable and then retract the
headphone arms. Now hold the headband and push the earphones towards the centre of the
headband until they fold as shown below. We recommend that the batteries are removed from
the NC-40s if you expect to store them for a long time.

The mode selection switch is located at the bottom of the
right earpiece; this allows you to choose between passive
and noise cancelling modes.
OFF: Passive mode
ON: Active noise cancellation mode provides up to 16dB
of noise cancellation.
In addition, the NC-40 feature a handy volume dial, also
located on the right earpiece, which allows you to adjust
the volume level independently of your audio source device.

 Check the volume level before placing the headphones onto your ear

Do not listen to the headphones at high volume for excessive periods as this may damage your hearing
 Discontinue use if you experience any discomfort or irritation from using the headphones
 These headphones must not be worn whilst driving a vehicle oroperating heavy machinery
 We do not recommend you wear the headphones while walking or running in areas of heavy traffi c
1. The battery compartment is located on the right earpiece, release the catch at the bottom
of the compartment and insert the AAA battery (Included) and then click the compartment
closed. For optimum performance we recommend good quality alkaline batteries, which
should allow playback for up to 30 hours.
2. Connect the supplied audio cable to your audio device and to the audio port located at the
bottom of the left earpiece.
3. The headphones can be adjusted by extending/retracting the arms on both sides.

Istruzioni per l’uso
1. Lo scomparto per la batteria è situato nella cuffi a destra. Per aprire il coperchio della batteria
premete verso il basso la linguetta nella parte bassa della cuffi a e rilasciate (vedi immagine
sottostante). Sollevate il coperchio.
2. Inserite la batteria di tipo AAA inclusa nella fornitura e richiudete il coperchio. Per le migliori
performance ed una durata fi no a 30 ore vi consigliamo di utilizzare batterie alcaline di buona qualità.
3. Collegate il cavo audio incluso nella fornitura al vostro dispositivo ed alla porta situata nella parte
bassa della cuffi a sinistra.
4. Regolate la lunghezza dell’arco da entrambi i lati.
Utilizzo
Il tasto per la selezione della modalità è situato sulla cuffi a destra in basso; in questo modo potete
scegliere tra le modalità passiva e noise cancelling.
Conservazione
Per inserire le cuffi e nella relativa custodia, scollegate il cavo
audio e richiudere i padiglioni verso l’interno come mostrato
nell’immagine qui sopra. Vi consigliamo di rimuovere le
batterie se pensate di non utilizzare la cuffi a per lungo tempo.
OFF: modalità passiva
ON: modalità attiva noise cancellation, elimina rumori di fondo fi no a 16db
In oltre potete regolare il volume indipendentemente dalla sorgente audio tramite il controllo manuale
posto sulla cuffi a destra.
Durante l’uso evitate di toccare i coperchi delle cuffi e, questo potrebbe interferire la corretta ricezione dei
microfoni integrati in modalità noise cancelling.

Einleitung
2. Legen Sie die beigefügten AAA Batterien in das Batteriefach und schliessen Sie die Abdeckung. Für
eine optimale Leistung empfehlen wir qualitativ hochwertige Alkaline Batterien. Diese sollten eine
Laufzeit von bis zu 30 Stunden ermöglichen.
3. Verbinden sie das beiliegende Kabel mit dem gewünschten Audiogerät und dem Anschluss des
Kopfhörers. Dieser befi ndet sich auf der unteren Seite der rechten Ohrmuschel.
4. Die Kopfhörer können durch Ein- und Ausfahren der Arme auf beiden Seite eingestellt werden.
Bedienung
Der Auswahlschalter für den Betriebsmodus befi ndet sich ebenfalls auf der unteren Seite der rechten
Ohrmuschel; hiermit können Sie zwischen dem passivem und dem Noise-Cancelling-Modus wählen.
Aufbewahrung
Bevor die NC-40 Kopfhörer in der dazugehörigen Tragetasche
aufbewahrt werden können, entfernen Sie bitte das Audiokabel
und fahren Sie die beiden Arme ein. Im Anschluss drücken Sie
die beiden Ohrmuscheln zur Mitte des Kopfhörers. Falls Sie die
Kopfhörer über einen längeren Zeitraum aufbewahren wollen,
empfehlen wir die Batterie ebenfalls zu entfernen.
OFF: Passiver Modus
ON: Aktiver Noise-Cancellation-Modus (bis zu 16dB)
Zusätzlich besitzt der NC-40 einen Lautstärkeregler, der sich seitlich auf der rechten Ohrmuschel
befi ndet. Hiermit können Sie unabhängig von der Quelle die Lautstärke regeln.
Vermeiden Sie während des Betriebs das Klopfen und Berühren des
Kopfhörergehäuses, da dies zu Störungen des eingebauten Mikrofons
und somit zur Beeinträchtigung der Cancelling-Funktion führen kann.
Sicherheit
Überprüfen Sie vor dem Tragen des Kopfhörers immer die Lautstärkeeinstellung.
Vermeiden Sie die Nutzung der vollen Lautstärke über längere Zeiträume – dies kann zur
Beeinträchtigung des Hörvermögens führen.
Beenden Sie die Nutzung der Kopfhörer bei Unbehagen oder Reizungen.
Die Nutzung der Kopfhörer während des Fahrens oder des Einsatzes von schweren Maschinen ist
nicht erlaubt.
Wir empfehlen die Kopfhörer während des Laufens oder Rennens in stark befahrenen Bereichen nicht
zu tragen.
1. Das Batteriefach befi ndet sich in der rechten Seite des Kopfhörers. Um die Abdeckung für das
Batteriefach zu lösen, legen Sie ihren Daumen auf die kleine Erhebung des Verschlusses und drücken
ihn fest nach unten. Versichern sie sich vorher dass Ihr Daumen nicht vollständig den Verschluss
abdeckt – dadurch könnte sich die Abdeckung nicht öffnen.

Prise en main
1. Le compartiment à pile est situé dans l’écouteur droit. Pour ouvrir le couvercle, placez votre pouce
sur le loquet d’ouverture et poussez fermement vers le bas (voir illustration). Assurez-vous de ne
pas couvrir complètement le loquet avec votre pouce autrement le couvercle ne s’ouvrirait pas.
2. Insérez la pile AAA fournie et refermez le couvercle jusqu’au clic. Pour de meilleures performances,
nous recommandons l’utilisation de piles alcalines de bonne qualité, qui permettront un
fonctionnement jusqu’à 30 heures.
3. Connectez le câble audio fourni à votre appareil audio et au port audio situé au-dessous de
l’écouteur gauche.
4. Le casque peut être ajusté grâce au deux bras rétractables/extensibles.
Utilisation
Le bouton de sélection de mode de fonctionnement est situé sur le dessous de l’écouteur droit; celui-ci
vous permet de choisir entre le mode passif et le mode réduction de bruits.
Rangement
Pour ranger le NC-40s dans la pochette de transport fournie,
retirez le câble audio et repliez les bras du casque. Maintenez
ensuite le bandeau et poussez les écouteurs vers le centre du
bandeau jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient repliés comme indiqué sur
l’illustration. Nous recommandons de retirer la pile du NC-40s
si vous prévoyez de le ranger pendant une période prolongée.
OFF: mode passif
ON: le mode annulation de bruits actif fournit jusqu’à 16dB de réduction de bruits.
En outre, le NC-40s dispose d’une molette de réglage de volume, également située sur l’écouteur
droit, qui vous permet de régler le niveau du volume indépendamment de votre source audio.
