WARNING...
1. Keep all electrical appliances out of reach of children.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Fill your filter unit with warm water (not boiling) and add a few drops of dishwashing liquid (Ensure filter
cartridge is not in the unit.) Allow tap water to run through the unit. (The unit must not be plugged into the plug-
point).
Remove the drain plug underneath the unit and rinse out using 2-3 bottles of clean water. NEVER open the unit
for cleaning.

Trouble Shooting
1. Water is not coming out from the tap.
It will take a minimum of an hour for the water to flow through the filter into the tank when
using a new filter.
If no water filters through from the tap after the given period, gently tilt the bottle as there
may be an air bubble lock.
If the problem persists, carefully remove the bottle and filter, shake the filter cartridge for 30
to 40 seconds and place back into position. Replace the bottle.
If the water is not coming out of the tap and if room temperature is below 50° F, switch unit
off for 12 hours as the water could be frozen in the tank.
*IF THE FILTER IS OLDER THAN 3 MONTHS, REPLACE FILTER AS IT MAY BE SATURATED.

4. If the unit is heating the water.
It could be that the terminals are incorrect. Please return the unit to the store where you
purchased the unit.
5. If the unit is leaking.
a) Water leaking underneath the unit: - Ensure that the small silicon drain plug is secured
under the unit.
b) Water leaking from the tap: - Move the handle of the tap around slowly a few times to
adjust the stopper inside.
c) Water leaking from the screw on the cap by the bottle: - A small amount of water
dripping from this area does not pose a problem and is not a cause for concern. Gently
ensure that the screw cap’s silicon ring is in place by pressing the screw cap inside up
and down.

2. If the water comes out black.
If the water comes out black this is completely safe food grade carbon particles. Simple
remove the filter, rinse under a tap gently for 30 – 60 seconds and then replace. Draw three
glasses of water and your water should be clear.

For the system to perform as shown in the Performance Data Sheet, it is necessary to replace
the filter when it exceeds filter capacity (50 gallons); Testing was performed under standard
laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
This product is to be used with municipal or city tap water only.

3. If the unit is not cooling.
Ensure the red switch on the back of the unit is switched on. Kindly note the temperature on
the LED. Ensure it is switched on at the main power supply.
For use with municipal or city water. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water. Do
not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe, or of unknown quality, without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certifies
for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. Individuals requiring water of certain microbiological purity should
consult their physician. For your own health & safety use the original replacement cartridge.

ADD A NEW TWIST TO YOUR FILTERED WATER BY ADDING
SOME FLAVOR
It’s hard to always choose plain filtered water when we’re constantly
surrounded by sweeter, nicer tasting and more flavorful options. Sadly
these options usually have sugar, calories, artificial sweeteners and a load
of unhealthy additives. If your daily routine of having eight glasses of
filtered water per day has you bored, unhealthy or both, try some of these
ideas to put a new spin on your water routine:
Tea
Tea can be a wonderful, low-calorie (and sometimes
caffeinated) way to get water we need to stay
healthy. Filtered water removes unwanted
minerals so it is free of any unpleasant tastes
and smells. Black tea has been shown to
lower levels of the stress producing hormone
cortisol; green tea is loaded with antioxidants
that help strengthen your immune system;
and hibiscus tea is high in vitamin C and has
been shown to reduce blood pressure. There
are many varieties of teas out there in various
flavor options which can be enjoyed hot or cold.
Mint
This is a great addition to a glass of
water- especially in warmer months.
Add a few sprigs to a jug of water to
give each glass a crisp, minty kick. Let
the jug mellow in the fridge for about
10 minutes or even overnight if you’d
prefer a stronger mint taste. For an
even mintier edge, bruise the leaves
before adding them to the jug.

Cucumber
A handful of cucumber slices added to a jug of
water can make all the difference. But if you’d like
to take it a step further, try grinding up cucumber
chunks in a blender, pouring the cucumber
juice through a sieve into a bowl and leave it
in the fridge to drip over night. Mix the
juice with a cold jug of water the next
day, and you’ve got yourself the most
refreshing water you’ve ever tasted.
Hibiscus flowers
This one is a twist on tea since it requires
steeping hibiscus flowers. The only
difference is that we suggest chilling the
water after you infuse it so you’re left with
a cheery-looking, light pink glass of water
with a slightly tart flavor. Hibiscus flowers
will require about 10 minutes to steep.
Lemon or Lime
To add some flavor to your water at work,
try bringing a lemon or lime to the office
with your water bottle. Or you could buy
lemon or lime juice and keep it in the
office fridge to use whenever you need it.

Ginger
There is a reason ginger is used to cleanse the palate
between bites of sushi: its got a crisp, cool taste that, as it
turns out, also goes really well with a glass of cold water.
Try making ginger juice the same way you make
cucumber juice - only use a grater instead of a
blender. you can add the ginger juice to a jug
of water, or you can buy ginger juice.
Lemon or cranberry ice cubes
Keep your water ice-cold AND tasty with home-made
lemon or cranberry ice cubes. (You can use any fruit or
veggie you want, depending on your
preferences.) For cranberry ice cubes, place
one or two cranberries in each square of ice
cube tray, cover with water and freeze. For
lemon ice cubes, slice the fruit up and use a
cupcake tray.
Cucumber melon and mint
Don't be afraid to try combinations of any of the ideas
listed above.

Tips:
1. Before use rinse filter under a running tap gently shaking for
60 seconds.
2. To ensure your unit is kept clean, we recommend using the
Little Luxury Crystal Spring water cooler and water filter®
cleanser every 3 months.
3. To clean the bottle, use a few drops dishwashing liquid and
half fill the bottle with lukewarm water.
4. If the flow of water stalls and stops flowing freely after the
filter is reinserted or replaced, remove the filter and shake
the filter to loosen the carbon and then reinsert the cartridge
into the cooler.
Note: DO NOT USE HOT WATER. Let the water drain and
rinse with fresh water once or twice then drain.
5. When refilling the bottle with the water, it is suggested that
you should tap off 1 glass of water on the side of the unit.
6. The filters cartridges can be placed in the plastic recycle bin.

3. La unidad no está enfriando.
Asegúrese que el interruptor rojo en la parte trasera de la unidad este encendido. Tome en
cuenta la temperatura en el LED. Asegúrese que este encendida en la fuente de poder
principal.
4. La unidad está calentando el agua.

5. La unidad está goteando
