batteries� Do not short-circuit
batteries/rechargeable batteries or open
them up� This may result in overheating, risk
of re, or explosion.
Never throw batteries/rechargeable
batteries into a re or water.
Do not subject batteries/rechargeable
batteries to mechanical stress�
Do not use different types of batteries or
used and new batteries together�
When inserting batteries, ensure correct

Leaking or damaged batteries/

skin� Therefore wear suitable protective
gloves in such cases�
In the event of leaking batteries, remove
them immediately from the product in order
to prevent damage�

Note: take the product out of its packaging
and remove all packing material�
Check that all package contents are
present�
Check if the product or individual parts are
damaged� Should you detect damage, do
not use the product� Please contact the
retailer via the service address indicated�
The batteries supplied are already inserted
into the product and tted with an isolator
strip� Remove this plastic strip to start using
the product�
zSwitching the product on/
off
Use the switch 5on the battery
compartment 2to switch the product on
or off (see Fig� D):
OFF: The LED gnome 1is switched off�
ON: The LED gnome 1is switched on�
zInserting the batteries
 RISK OF DEATH! Batteries must
only be replaced by an adult and
the battery compartment must be
rmly closed. Swallowing a battery is
life-threatening!
The battery compartment 2is hidden
underneath the gnome’s beard (See Fig� B)�

Open the battery compartment by
loosening the screws 3(see Fig� C)� Turn
the battery compartment around and
carefully lift the cover 4off the
compartment (see Fig� C)�
Insert the batteries 6contained in the
package into the product, observing correct
polarity (see Fig� C)�
Please note: One of the button cells has to
face upwards, one downward in the battery
compartment (see Fig� C)�
Close the cover, reinsert screws on the back
and fasten to secure battery compartment
cover�
zCleaning and storage
Do not immerse the product in water or any
other liquids�
Make sure that no water gets into the
casing�
Use only a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning� If
the product is very dirty, dampen the cloth
slightly�
When the product is not in use, store in the
packaging in a dry place�

El encendido/apagado del producto se
realiza mediante el interruptor 5situado
en el compartimento para las pilas 2(ver
la g. D):
OFF: el gnomo LED 1está apagado�
ON: el gnomo LED 1está encendido
zCambiar las pilas

¡PELIGRO DE MUERTE!
Por favor,
cerciórese de que las pilas se
cambien sólo por un adulto y de
que el compartimento para las pilas quede
bien jado y cerrado. ¡Tragarse una pila
puede poner en peligro la vida!
El compartimento para las pilas 2se sitúa
en la parte inferior de la barba (ver la g.
B)� Abra el compartimento para las pilas
desatornillando los tornillos 3 (ver la g.
C)� Voltee el compartimento para las pilas
y levante con cuidado la tapa 4(ver la
g. C).
Introduzca las pilas suministradas 6en el
producto, prestando atención a la
polaridad correcta (ver la gura C).
Nota: Las pilas de botón se colocan de
forma diferente en el compartimento para
las pilas (ver la g. C).
Cierre la tapa y vuelva a apretar los
tornillos de la parte posterior para jar el
compartimento para las pilas�
zLimpieza y almacenamiento
No sumerja nunca el producto en agua o
en otros líquidos�
