4) ChokeLever
The chokeisusedtoprovideanenriched fuel mixturewhen startingacoldengine.Put
chokelever intheONposition whenthe engine haswarmed up.
5) ACOvercurrentProtector
Whenthereis aprobleminthe loador awrongconnection, theAC circuit willbe
overloaded,andthe ACovercurrentprotectorwill automaticallydisconnect the circuitto
protectit.
Whentheindicatorinside ACovercurrentprotectorpopsup,itmeansACovercurrent
protectorisinthe OFF position. Afterseveralminutes, pushthe protectorsbuttontolet
theprotectorback tothe ONposition.

6) Ground Terminal
The ground terminalisadedicatedterminal forreliablygroundingthe wholegenerator.
7) Oil AlertSystem
The oilalert systemisdesignedtoprevent enginedamage causedbyan insufficient
amountofoil inthe crankcase.Before theoillevel inthecrankcasecan fallbelowa
safelimit, theoil alertsystemwill automaticallyshutdowntheengine(theengine
switchwillremaininthe ON position)toavoiddamagetotheengine.

4. GENERATOR USE
Requirements of generatoruseconcerningtheenvironment
Applicableambienttemperaturerange:-15°C~40°C.
Applicablehumiditylevel:below95%.
Applicablealtitude:under3,300feet(1,000m)abovesealevel;foraltitudes over
3,300 feet(1,000m)abovesea level,lower power ratingisneededforoperation).
1) Connectionsto aHome PowerSupply
Ifthegenerator istobeconnected toahomepowersupplyas a
standby, connection shall beperformedbyaprofessional
electricianorbyanotherperson withproficientelectricalskill.
Whentheloadsareconnectedtothegenerator, please carefullycheck whether
electricalconnectionsaresafeand reliable. Anyimproperconnection maycause
damagetothegenerator,or cause afire.

2) Generator Ground Circuit
Inordertoprevent electric shock duetoshoddyelectricalappliances orwronguseof
electricity,the generatormust be grounded withagood-qualityinsulated conductor.
3) ACApplications
Beforestartingthe generator,itmust be confirmedthatthetotal ofallloads power
valuesdoesntexceedthegenerators ratedpower.
Overloadusewill remarkablyshortenthegenerator’sservice
life.
If thegeneratorisconnectedtomultipleloads or electricity consumers, please
remembertofirstconnecttheonewiththehighest starting current, thenthe onewith
thesecondhighest startingcurrent... and lastconnecttheonewiththe lowest starting
current.

Generally,capacitiveand inductiveloads, especially motor driven deviceswill generate
averyhighstartingcurrent. Thefollowingtableservesasareferenceforyour
connectingthegeneratortotheelectricityconsumersasshownin thetable.

DCterminalsare for supplyingpower tolow-power DC loads,orchargingother
batteries.PositiveDCterminalsare coloredred,and negativeonesarecolored black.
Connecting loads:Connectthe load spositivepole topositiveDCterminal;connect the
loadsnegativepoletonegativeDC terminal.

Whenthereisaproblemintheloadorawrong connection,theDCcircuit willbe
overloaded,andtheDC overcurrentprotectorwill automaticlydisconnectthecircuitto
protect it.
WhentheindicatorinsideDC overcurrentprotectorpopsup,it meansDC overcurrent
protectorisin theOFF position. Afterseveralminutes, pushtheDC protectorsbutton
toletit back tothe ONposition.
5) High AltitudeOperation
Athighaltitudes,thestandardcarburetorair-fuelmixturewillbe excessivelyrich.
Power outputwill decrease,andfuelconsumptionwillincrease.High altitude
performancecan beimproved byinstalling asmaller diametermainfueljet in the
carburetorandreadjustingthepilotscrew. Ifyoualways operatethegeneratorat
altitudeshigherthan 3,300feet(1,000meters)abovesealevel,haveagenerator
dealerauthorizedbyour companyperformthiscarburetor modification;orthe
generatorshouldbeusedwithlowered powerrating.
Even withsuitablecarburetorjetting, enginepower will decreaseapproximately3.5%
foreach1,000 feet(300meter)increasein altitude.The effect ofaltitude onpower will
be greaterthanthisifnocarburetor modificationismade.
Ifanenginejetted for high altitudeisusedataloweraltitude, the
leanair fuelmixturewill reduce performanceand mayover-heat
and seriouslydamagetheengine.

5. PREOPERATIONCHECK
1) EngineOil ChecktheoillevelBEFOREEACHUSE withthegenerator on a
levelsurfaceand withtheenginestopped.
Engineoilisamajor factoraffectingengineperformance and servicelife.
Non-detergentand2-stroke engineoils
willdamagetheengineand arenot
recommended.
Recommendedengineoil
Four-strokegasolineengineoil
SE orSFgradeunder APIclassification,or
SAE10W-30thatisequivalenttoSGgrade.
Oilchecksteps:
Removetheoil dipstick from the oilfiller
holeandwipeitclean; Insertthedipstickwithoutscrewing itintighttocheckthe engine
oil level.
If the engineoillevelistoolow, addrecommendedengine oiluntil oil level reachesthe
upperlimit;
After addingoil,remembertorescrewin
and tighten theoildipstick.

·Fuelling must beperformedinaplacewithgood ventilation whentheengine
has stopped. Remember:neversmokeorlightafire.
·Never spillthefuel outwhenfueling
·Avoidlong or frequentcontactwithfuelor inhalation offuelvapor.
Never letchildrencontactfuel.
Never use oil-fuel mixtureor gasolinewith impurities.
The gasolinesoctane valueshould be90orhigher.
Unleadedgasolineis recommendedbyus becauseitproducesless carbon depositon
theengineand spark plug,andcanprolong servicelifeofthe exhaust system.
Never uselong aged gasoline,contaminatedgasoline orgasolinemixed withengineoil.
Never letdustor waterintothefueltank.

Ifanemergencystop ofthe engineis needed, theengineswitch
shouldbeputintheOFF position。

8.MAINTENANCE
Good maintenanceisthe bestassuranceforsafe,economicalandzero-malfunction
runningof thegenerator,and itis alsogoodfor environmentprotection.
Engineexhaustgas containspoisonouscarbon monoxide.
Maintenancecanonlybeperformedaftertheengineisstopped.If
maintenancemustbeperformed whiletheengineisrunning, theworking area
must bewell ventilated.
Periodic maintenanceandadjustmentarenecessaryforkeeping thegeneratorina
goodoperatingcondition.Maintenancescheduleisas follows:

operation,can cause amalfunction bywhichyou can behurtor
killed.
Alwaysfollowtheinspectionand maintenancerecommendationsand schedules
inthisowner’smanual.
1) Engineoilchange
Drain the engine oilwhen theenginehasbeenwarmedtoensurecompleteandrapid
draining.

1.Removetheoil dipstick andscrewoffthedrainplugtodrain theengineoil

Engineoilmaycause skincancerifrepeatedlyleft in contact
withtheskinforprolongedperiods.Although theskin cancerdoesnot
necessarilyhappen,itisstill advisabletothoroughlywash theskinthathas
contactedengineoilwith soapand water afterhandling engineoil.
For the sakeofenvironment protection,pleasetreattheused engineoil inan
appropriateway. Westronglyadviseyou tostoretheused engine oilinasealed
containerand takeittothelocalservicestationorrecyclingcenter forusedoil
reclamation.Never throwitinthetrashorpouritonthegroundorintothe ditch.
2) Air filtermaintenance
Adirtyairfilterwill restrict airflowintothecarburetor.Topreventcarburetor
malfunction,maintain theairfilterregularly.Maintainitmore frequentlywhen operating
thegeneratorinextremelydustyareas.
Using gasolineor inflammablesolventtocleanthefilterelement
cancauseafireor explosion. Useonlysoapywateror nonflammablesolvent.
Neverrun thegenerator withouttheairfilter,orrapidenginewear
will result.

1. Unsnaptheairfilter coverclips, removetheair filter coverand check the filter
elementtoconfirmitis completeandclean.
○
2. Ifthefoamelementis dirty,clean itfollowing the methodbelow:
Washthe element in asolutionofhouseholddetergentandwarm water,or ina
nonflammable(orhighflashpoint)detergent, detergent;thoroughlysqueezefluid
outofit. Dripsomedropsofengineoil intoit.
If thepaperelementis dirty, gentlyknock it severaltimes; then usecompressed air
(withapressurenothigherthan207KPa) toblowit fromtheinsidetotheoutside.
Never useabrushtocleanthe paper element,oritsairporeswill beclogged.Ifthe
paperelementisdamaged, replaceitwithanewone

3. Reinstall theairfilterelement andthecover.
3) Cleanthefuel sedimentcup
○
1. Turnthefuel valvetothe OFF position,
removethefuel sedimentcup,and takeout
theOringandstrainer.
○
2. Cleanthesediment cup,O-ring, andstrainer
in anonflammableor highflashpointsolvent.
○
3. Reinstall O-ring and strainer,and thefuel
sediment cupandtightenthecup.
