Instant Clip Button

•Press and release to create an Instant Clip.

•Press and hold for approximately 2 seconds to create and

send an Instant Clip to your instant share favorite.

Go to Settings in the Looxcie mobile app to set up instant sharing.

•Slide camera power switch to “Wi-Fi” position. (Switch glows blue.)

•Turn on your smartphone or tablet’s Wi-Fi (under Settings).

•Select “Looxcie HD” from list of Wi-Fi networks.

TIP: Replace cap to maintain weather-resistant seal, if needed.

Record & Share

•Launch Looxcie mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.

•Login following instructions on screen.

•Tap camera icon and select “Record” to start recording.

•Preview video and share clips to friends and family.

TIP: Press Instant Clip button on camera to create 30-second “instant replay” clips.

Stream

Broadcasting

•Tap camera icon and select “Broadcast” to start streaming.

•Invite friends to a private broadcast or share a public feed on a community channel or Facebook.

Viewing

•Tap “Videos” to watch broadcasts from your friends.

Limited Warranty

Hardware Warranty Coverage

Looxcie, Inc. (1196 Borregas Ave, Suite 200, Sunnyvale, CA 94089), warrants the Looxcie video device (“Product”) to be free of material defects (subject to the

terms set forth below) for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”). Looxcie, Inc. warrants the Looxcie accessories to be free of

material defects (subject to the terms set forth below) for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This Warranty specically excludes any Looxcie software

applications which are subject to separate End User License Agreements and any software embodied in the hardware. During theWarranty Period, Looxcie, Inc.

will repair or replace (at Looxcie, Inc.’s discretion) this Product or any defective parts (“Warranty Service”) at no charge (other than applicable incidental charges).

Replacement Product may be new or refurbished/recertied at Looxcie, Inc.’s discretion. If repair or replacement is not commercially practical or cannot be timely

made, Looxcie, Inc. may choose to refund the purchase price paid for the aected Product. Customers should visit www.looxcie.com/support for instructions

regarding obtaining Warranty Service.

If Looxcie, Inc. provides service under Warranty, the terms of theWarranty and applicable provisions of law will cover defects in materials and workmanship that

arise during the remainingWarranty or 90 days after service, whichever provides longer coverage. If service is provided outside ofWarranty, Looxcie, Inc. warrants

that the replacement will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the replacement ship date.

ThisWarranty is only valid for the original purchaser with the original purchase receipt and will automatically terminate prior to expiration if this Product is sold or

otherwise transferred to another party.

TheWarranty provided by Looxcie, Inc. in this statement applies only to new Products purchased for use, and not for resale. It does not apply to open box purchases

or refurbished Products, which are sold“as is”and are not covered by this Warranty. Specically exempt fromWarranty are limited-life consumable components

subject to normal wear and tear, such as earbuds and earloops.

ThisWarranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, acts of nature, accidents, disassembling, or modication of or to any

part of the Product. ThisWarranty excludes damages resulting from actions not Looxcie Inc.’s fault and damages resulting from the use of non-Looxcie products.

ThisWarranty does not cover lost data, les, clips, or video.This Warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation, maintenance, or installation,

or attempted repair by anyone other than Looxcie, Inc. or a Looxcie dealer authorized to do Looxcie Warranty work. Any unauthorized repairs will void this Warranty.

WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF CONSUMER. ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIEDWARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY

AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESSWARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL LOOXCIE, INC. BE LIABLE,

WHETHER IN CONTRACT ORTORT, FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OFTHE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR

CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR LOSS OF INFORMATION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITHTHE USE OR INABILITY TO USETHE PRODUCT(S), TO THE

FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.

Use and Safety Information

Looxcie portable device may be used close to the head and body with the Looxcie mounting accessories. This device meets the FCC & IC SAR requirements.

Before using Looxcie device or any accessories provided, please read these safety instructions in their entirety, as they contain important safety information. Please

retain this document for your records. For best performance, always use Looxcie device as advised in the Looxcie User Manual, which can be downloaded at www.

looxcie.com.

You are responsible for determining what laws apply to your use of Looxcie device, and you may not use Looxcie device in violation of these or any other laws

(including but not limited to intellectual property laws and state or federal“wiretap”laws or other analogous regulations applicable to the surreptitious or

unauthorized preparation or distribution of audio or other recordings).

General Use and Care

Use Looxcie device indoors or in dry conditions outdoors. Do not place heavy objects on Looxcie device or attempt to modify or service Looxcie device. Use only

accessories approved by Looxcie, Inc. Using any accessories not approved by Looxcie, Inc. may invalidate your Warranty, might result in damage to Looxcie device,

and may be dangerous. Use of unauthorized accessories also limits any liability on the part of Looxcie, Inc. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners, as they

may cause damage. Use a dry cloth to clean the external parts of Looxcie device.

Do not use Looxcie device on aircraft or where it might interfere with medical devices.

Children

Never allow children to play with Looxcie device or included accessories. Small parts may be a choking hazard.

Electrical Safety

Charge Looxcie device using only charging Product(s) provided with original packaging or charging accessories specically approved by Looxcie, Inc. Any approval

from Looxcie, Inc. must be in writing and must be from a person authorized to provide such approval. Use of any other accessory might invalidate any Warranty

provided by Looxcie, Inc. and may be dangerous.

Do not overload power outlets, extension cords, or convenience receptacles, as this might result in a risk of re or electric shock. To reduce the risk of damage to the

cord or the plug, pull the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting the charging accessory from the power outlet or convenience receptacle.

Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where the power cord connects to the

device. Unplug charging accessories during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Do not use charging accessories outside or in any area

exposed to the elements.

Device/Battery Safety and Disposal

Looxcie device should not be disposed of in household waste containers. Looxcie device uses a lithium polymer rechargeable battery. Charge the battery only with

the approved Looxcie charging accessories. Do not attempt to remove the battery from battery casing. Do not dispose of Looxcie device in a re, as the battery

might explode. Dispose of Looxcie device in accordance with the laws and regulations in your area governing disposal of electronic products and batteries.

The lithium polymer battery might present a re or chemical burn hazard or might explode if mistreated. Do not

disassemble, crush, or puncture the lithium polymer battery. Do not heat the lithium-ion battery above 140°F (60°C). When storing the battery separately, do not

let the metal contacts on the battery touch metal or any other material that may conduct electricity.

Driving Safely

Driving a vehicle requires full attention to road conditions, weather, and vehicular trac. If using Looxcie device while driving, it is important to set up Looxcie

device prior to driving. Using this hands-free device may be distracting and may put your vehicle’s occupants and occupants of other vehicles at risk of suering

bodily injury, death, and/or loss of property.

Do not place the device or other objects above a vehicle air bag, or in the air bag deployment area. If the air bag inates, serious injury could result.

Radio Frequency (RF) signals might aect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic systems in motor vehicles. Check with your vehicle’s manufac-

turer or its representative regarding your vehicle. If any equipment has been added to your vehicle, you should also consult the manufacturer of that equipment

for information on RF signals.

Audio Safety

Looxcie, Inc. takes your hearing safety seriously. If you use Looxcie device at the maximum sound level over an extended period, hearing impairment may occur.

Avoid increasing the volume of Looxcie device to block out noisy surroundings. If you experience ringing in your ears or mued speech, stop using Looxcie device

immediately and consult a physician to have your hearing checked.

“Made for iPhone”means that an electronic device has been designed to connect specically to iPhone and has been certied by the developer to meet Apple

performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the operation of this device or its compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Please note that the use of
